What a lovely experience. We were greeted right when we walked in. Water came to our table shortly after. We then had the chance to look over the menu. I ordered the miso salmon entree and my husband had the lobster ramen entree. I was looking at two different different and the waitress recommended the "papaya lady" to pair well with it. She was spot on! The salmon was moist, not fishy at all, with caramelized grill marks. The lobster was tender, and plenty meat in the tail. The broth was delicious to just sip on, and went great with the noodles.

My husband and I made a reservation at Blue Fish on Christmas, and it ended up being such a highlight of our trip to Breckenridge. From the moment we sat down, we had a great time. Our server was absolutely awesome--so friendly and personable. We even discovered he grew up in South Florida, not far from where we live, which made the experience feel extra special. He gave us great recommendations not only from the menu, but also on places to explore around Colorado. We started with the Heaven and miso soup--both were delicious. For rolls, we ordered the rainbow roll, rainforest roll, piñata roll, and the 121 roll. Every single one was incredible. Truly some of the best sushi I've had in a while. The style and quality reminded me so much of the sushi I grew up eating back home in Vancouver, BC, which I've been missing! Amazing food, great service, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Blue Fish to anyone visiting Breckenridge and will definitely be back next time we're in town.

The rolls we ordered, both delicious!

Not bad for mountain town sushi! My girlfriend and I had dinner here during the shoulder season to celebrate our anniversary, wanting something not too terrible expensive but nice enough to feel celebratory, and this spot fit the bill. It was the shoulder season, so service was fast and the restaurant was nearly empty. Our server was personable and kind, recommending items he enjoys on the menu. The setting is definitely less intimate than we expected, but after managing our expectations we had a great time. We ended up being sat next to some of the only other customers in the restaurant and they were also very nice, striking up conversation about the rolls they ordered. The server even brought us out free mochi as a gift for our celebration. Overall a good spot, doesn't hold a lighter to Denver's spots but I imagine is a very reliable option the next time i visit.

Finding yummy sushi in a small town that's filled with bar food type restaurants was definitely a treat! I really enjoyed both rolls we got - fresh, melt in your mouth fish and great flavor! Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is very large with multiple levels of seating.

It's rare to find sushi this fresh, especially in a mountain town but this spot did not disappoint. We stopped in for a quick bite after skiing and wish we had ordered more because it was so good! The service was great, nice and quick and the rolls were amazing. I have had thousands of spicy tuna rolls in my life and this was the best one I've had in a long time!

3 or 4th time here and it's still the same experience as the first time...AMAZING! The service is always quick and attentive. Their happy hour is 4-5pm and they have a pretty good selection of food. We ordered their rock manhattan roll (we get it everytime) and it was perfection! We also ordered a few apps for happy hour like the shrimp tempura, rock fish and Japanese fried chicken. The part of dinner I was unsure about was the side soba. I assumed it was cold and the soba you dip but it wasn't and I didn't want just some random noodles. Our waitress was super sweet about it though and I ordered it for $8 (why not). I saw the bowl coming and WAS I WRONG. It is a good portion size and full of flavor, you can add protein if you want but it's so simple yet satisfying. I got one to go! Overall it was pretty quiet on a Thursday night and we can't wait to come again. The vibe was great and the ambiance was clean, the music was great and we left happy. Thank you Clev for an amazing night! It was great to meet you!

Great sushi rolls in Breckenridge for a great price. We spent our friend's birthday here and enjoyed every thing we ate! Our server was fun and friendly. Definitely will return!

We drove over 30 minutes just to find out that they decided to close 1 hour early. Just ridiculous and the staff was very rude. I can see why this place has bad reviews on pretty much every other site but I unfortunately I had to add one more.

We made reservations which we recommend especially on the weekends. The restaurant is nicely set up and has two stories Our server Paul was attentive and provided great service. We ordered multiple rolls and he recommended them being combined on a snowboard which was so cute! The rolls were good we especially loved the Rainforest and Samurai. The calamari batter wasn't as crisp and a bit salty but the calamari was tender and the aioli helped balanced the saltiness. Overall it was a good dining experience.

Really solid sushi in Breck. Was this the best sushi I've her had? Definitely not, but it's a really solid spot with fantastic service, friendly waitstaff, fresh fish, and a great location. I thought the Kobe potstickers were good (but not mind blowing), as were the rolls. After a weekend of burgers and apres ski food, Blue Fish was a refreshing break. Would definitely return for some sushi and sake!

Service is solid. The menu has a big bar selection, not a huge sushi selection. Loud, busy, not awesome for kids. Food is good - priced on the higher side.

The food, the service, and the pricing make this place the perfect package for dinner. Go easy on the chili paste with the lobster bowl.

All the Thai hits--pad Thai, curries, noodles, stir fry dishes, etc. were there. We quickly settled on one of our favorites--green curry with vegetables and tofu. The waitress kindly let us know that we could get any appetizer for free with each entree we ordered, so we added edamame. Both dishes had excellent flavor, the curry had ample tofu and vegetables and a really perfect spice level. Not too hot, but definitely not bland. The place serves sushi too but we didn't order any. The table next to us had quite a lot of sushi and rolls and it looked delicious. Service was excellent, keeping our waters topped up, and checking in. Would definitely go back.

There is maybe 1/4 of one chicken breast in the whole entree which is paltry considering you are paying extra for it. Don't bother with the coconut shrimp. For $15 you receive 4 pieces of shrimp. Everything else was a normal size for the price. The tuna roll that we ordered had mayo on it which kind of tainted the taste of the roll. The tom kha soup was good. The other roll was okay. I would try the other Thai place in town before I went back here next time.

He was very energetic and had some great jokes as he was cooking. The steak was cooked and seasoned well to a medium and the salmon was moist. The fried rice was very flavorful with the butter and quite salty but still good. A big portion of food that left me feeling very happy meal wise. I was however not a fan of the $4 surcharge for fried rice and extra 50c for eggs. On top there is an automatic 20% gratitude added to the check. I'd rather they have included that price in the meal itself. Overall very happy with the food and hibachi show, just disappointed with the way they charge the customers. We called ahead to make sure they were open and they put our name down for 6 o'clock. We arrived a little early and it was almost 7 by the time the cook came and started cooking. The hostess was super apologetic about the wait and very attentive. The chef was funny and kind and very sweet to our kids even bringing them balloon animals although it was starting to get pretty awkward after waiting so long. Unfortunately, after an hour of waiting, they messed up our order and we received no fried rice. The steak was very, very good but the shrimp, lo mien, and vegetables were not good at all. We left most of the food on our plates. $106 later and it was the most mediocre meal we have had in Breckenridge.

We sat at the bar because we heard great things about the happy hour from the locals. 2 Food: We researched before coming to Breckenridge what place had the best burger and Aurum's French Onion Burger came up at the top of the list. It did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection (we like medium rare) and the sea salt french fries were delicious (no condiments needed for the burger or the fries)!! 3. Employees: The Hostess was friendly and got us seated right away. The Bartenders (Mike and George) made our evening a blast. Mike Ruda has a signature drink on the menu that he created called the Duck Fat Cadillac and it is a home run cocktail (10 out 10)!! George Johnson is a great conversationalist and is engaged with the customers. We showed him a twist to our favorite drink back home in San Antonio, the Carajillo and he made it perfectly! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Breckenridge and make sure you grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the conversations and the Duck Fat Cadillac!!

The food, people, and ambiance were so amazing, we made dinner reservations for the whole fam. Luckily there was availability. That night we were sat promptly when we arrived and the table was set up with menus and water waiting for us. For appetizer, we started off with the Parker House rolls with the house honey butter and OMG those rolls are so fluffy and delicious. Highly suggest getting the rolls if you like bread. The butter complimented the bread beautifully. I started off the night with the blackberry smash with tequila and it was delicious. Just the right combo of sweetness. For entree we went with their Pasta Rotante which for the night was a crazy flavor combo of tomato, pumpkin seeds, crunchy carrot strings, sage and chicken sausage. I'm probably missing other ingredients, but it was a dance of flavors on the tongue. Our waiter recommended pairing this with a glass of Pinot Noir and it was the perfect compliment.
