Do not eat here! From the beginning the server was not friendly. I wanted to eat something before skiing so I thought this would be perfect! Their XL bowl is HUGE. Biggest bowl I've ever seen in my life for pho. They also gave a generous amount of meat. However, my biggest problem with the dish is that the broth was way too sweet. I'm not sure if it's just catered to the general population here or what not, but if you're use to more authentic pho, I would definitely skip. read more

I've been to silverthorne many times after skiing.. but have not had the opportunity to try pho bay 2. We walked in on a busy Monday night and sat immediately. It took about 15 minutes for us to have our drink/food order taken... however, there were only two people taking orders so I completely understand the wait. Everything that came on this plate was fresh and delicious. The meat was tender and that perfect meaty taste along with the veggies/rice. The vegan/vegetarian broth was very homey and delicious as well. I could drink that in a glass!! The restaurant has a nice full service bar with lots of tables to enjoy or bring groups. As a vietnamese American, this place disappoints. However, if you are looking for warm soup after a day on the slopes, it suffices especially since there are no other places around. The pho broth lacked flavor so I had to fix it with hoisin and Sriracha. The oddest thing was the use of red onions in the broth. I ordered a medium which did come with a lot of broth and noodles.
