The waitress was super sweet to ensure I was getting what I wanted. I had the summer rolls and the seafood pho which was excellent and hardy. The unsweet tea was delicious with a slice of lime. My husband and I really wanted some take out and this spot has been on our list for quite some time. I cannot speak to the interior of the restaurant but the take out area was really nice. The service was alright, they were on the busier side. I ordered on uber eats and although it said it was finished I waited for 20 more minutes. I got the chicken and my husband got the raw beef. I loved the chicken, I thought the broth was really flavorful and was thankful to have the option to add more spice (4/5). My husband enjoyed the beef but would rather try a cooked option next time (3/5). The potion size are really huge and the pricing is pretty decent! Easy to order online, I love that that have specials where I can get lunch and dinner for one price. One really cool thing about this place is their robotic server. They still have staff but it's kind of cool to see if deliver food. I think the interior could use some TLC the pickup counter had a lot of stuff on it and it was dimly lit but not intentionally it was like burnt out bulbs. Well, the usual friendly afternoon waitress was replaced with a really confused young man. He spilled hot pho all over me moving it from the goofy robot they use to cart things to your table. Got are the well plated and ample 'condiments' that was bean sprouts, Thai basil and cilantro, along with lime and jalapenos. It seems to me an afterthought. The broth is still okay, but I'm used to seeing mushrooms and bok Choi, this was broth, chicken, a few scallions, noodles and that's it. So disappointed in all these changes. read more

This is a good pho spot in the charleston area. It is in the plaza with Harris Teeter grocery store. There are several tables inside, with chopsticks and spoons and a diverse menu with chinese options along wirh vietnamese soups, vermicelli dishes, and rice plates. The seating area is spacious and was kept clean. The pricing is reasonable, about 13 to 15 dollars for a bowl of pho. I ordered pho dac biet. The beef was of great quality, the meatballs were good, overall a good comforting dish. The broth was a bit less flavorful than i expected but the flavor was still quite enjoyable . I've been here once for dine in and once for takeout and both experiences were great. Either way, you want to start with the Cha Gio Thit (spring rolls)... probably one order per person. They come with 2 for six bucks but you won't want to share and the dipping sauce is perfect. For pho, I've had the Pho Tai Bo Vien (rare beef with meatballs) and the Pho Bo Vien (beef meatballs). This last time for takeout I got both because I wanted leftovers and I think I like the meatballs more than the rare beef so I'd stick with that one in the future. The takeout packaging was great and they weren't skimpy with any of the toppings. Plenty of bean sprouts, greenery, and sauce (although I think they mixed hot sauce and hoisin together which they should keep seperate). We could always use more pho places in town, but we do have a handful of good ones and Pho Saigon is definitely one of them. read more

This is my faaaavorite restaurant in Charleston for Pho! I have been to a couple other places but the rich depth and flavor of the broth is sorely lacking! The egg rolls were delicious, the fried rice wasn't really good. My pho was disappointing. It was tasty but not what I'm used to when it comes to pho and I barely got any meat. I think I got 2 slices of the flank and beef and I literally got 2 slices of a meatball. It was disappointing. My husband's soup was good but he wasn't thrilled.
