    Pork and shrimp spring rolls!
    Stefany B.

What a hidden gem! We came in for groceries and left with a full belly. Good authentic Vietnamese food. Sad they don't offer Pho Ga but the spring rolls were HUGE!! Fresh ingredients are a must and they nailed it! Hard to find good peanut sauce too- not sure why- but theirs is delish! We did the pork and egg fried rice too. Excellent value- you get enough to feed three people. The grocery store is CLEAN and well stocked. We will for sure be back. Check out the HUGE thrift store next door while you're there. Always find something when I go. PSA- it's not really in the best area, really close to the central bus line (read into that detail) and there was a panhandler outside that no one seemed to mind.

Best pho around Charleston. The flavor is incredible. Don't expect foo foo service. The lady there is all business. Know what you want when she comes to your table. The place is inside a grocery store. But the pho is excellent. I try to go there every time I am in Charleston.

I've been coming here for years now. I make a point to come maybe twice a year just because its so far from me. The flavor in everything they cook is always phenomenal. I've never had a bad review towards their food. I am doing another review today because our last two visits have been...different. By different I mean the attitude of the young lady who takes the orders and brings the food out. I feel that each time, the service has progressed poorly unfortunately. I understand everyone has bad days and I understand it might not be personally directed towards us. I just hope that new customers understand that also and not hold her bad days against her. I try to be as transparent as possible with my reviews and I hope this one reminds everyone, we are human and sometimes people just have bad days. I've noticed the last two times, business has picked up since covid so I hope this is helping them overall. I will always drive the hour for this place!

Felt like I had left the country on this experience. Realizing there is an amazing grocery shopping experience specializing in Asian cuisine was a much added bonus. The kitchen is so clean and since it's open you can see everything going on. Very fresh and authentic delicious food!

The pho was great little weird to be eating it inside a super market but definitely hit the spot, also the Vietnamese rolls were delicious.

Pork chops. Used to be grilled with flavor. Now it's just fried.

This place has changed ownership and cooks since last time I came here. I normally go to their location at Phuong Vietnamese down the street but they were closed so I came back here. No change on the inside. The spring roll was good especially when you get two of them. My pork chop was fried. I was not expecting it to be that way. Normally it's grilled. It wasn't bad just not what I was expecting. I actually tried my Mom's Fried Noodle w/Shrimp. It wasn't as flavorful as it has been before but it want bad. I actually liked it. My mother on the other hand didn't.

Best pho I've found so far in Charleston! Closest thing to what I've had in queens & Hanoi. We both ordered the p2 pho tai which was rare beef slices over noodles and it was just divine. AND you can't beat the price (huge bowl for $9.) we'll be back!

The best price, portions and just a great pho. I'm not going to talk about their service or how clean they are because their price and food is good enough to Not care about anything else. (It's not horrible but they just clean the table, take your order and bring you the bill. That's it)

The staff are friendly and the food is fast and excellent. The best I have had in Charleston and surrounding areas. I get the large plain pho because I have meat texture issues, this is more than enough food and at $11.29 it's a home run! When you see Asian families going to enjoy this place and they aren't related to the owners, you know the food is authentic. One gentleman who was seated after me today, was explaining to the owner that he just returned from a trip to his home in Thailand. My mom lives in Goose Creek. There's a Vietnamese restaurant in her town but the food in my opinion isn't that good. So expanding our area we found pho 79 with a ton of good reviews. It's in Otranto shopping center which is rundown but the restaurant itself is clean and bright. For appetizers we got spring rolls/summer rolls one with shrimp only and one with shrimp and pork. I didn't love the pork but the spring rolls were good. They add herbs and had the right ratio of filling. We both got the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl. It was tasty but I'm not used to getting peppers and onions in my noodle bowls but I liked it. I got a little extra salad dressing and added some sriracha. I like sambal but they didn't have any. Sriracha is a solid backup. For our meal with tip it was $62 and some change. I'll go back next time I'm in town but I'd like to try their pho next time. Portion sizes are big and we brought leftovers home for later.

My server was friendly, food came out at a reasonable speed but I could tell it was cooked fresh. I ordered chicken satay and chicken pad thai. The satay was nicely grilled and the peanut sauce had a good cilantro flavor to it. The pad Thai I ordered medium on the hotness and was a bit hotter than I expected medium to be (I'm pretty fine with spices but I had to blow my nose a few times after the meal). If you don't like spice, stick to the mild. Portion sizes were good, I walked out full but not bloated, but I didn't have any leftovers either. Price was a bit higher than it should be for this meal, but that's becoming an epidemic all over the area lately, food prices are going up much faster than anything else and far out of proportion to a paycheck. $38 after tip for an appetizer, basic entree, and water felt high to me. But maybe I'm just old and remember when a nickel could buy a house and need to start readjusting my price expectations. J.Ja

This place is a Latin/Asian infusion so we were very excited to see how the flavors played out since it is two of our favorite types of food. The best thing I had was the special, stir fried udon noodles with the steak. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chili spice on it was amazing and it wasn't overly sauced. The steak that accompanied it was also delicious. The tomato cucumber salad was fresh, but could've used a little more salt in my opinion. The bao bun and tacos were also nice and great portions. I would say for me I didn't love the pad Thai in comparison to the many that I've had before, because it was a bit different in flavor profiles than what I'm used to. I wanted a little bit more of the fish sauce and tamarin flavor. You have to get their milkshakes, I'm sure all of them are great. But the one we have was absolutely decadent and delicious! We had more than enough food, and ended up taking a lot of it home. They were multiple people helping us, and they were all very nice and friendly. I'm coming back for the udon noodle dish!
