**July 2025: Weekday Afternoon Visit** I had a hankering for Asian comfort food and found this on the Yelp app. It's a simple no nonsense, but clean mom and pop shop that does Vietnamese food right. We each ordered a bowl of pho and it came out quickly. The broth was rich and flavorful and the portion of noodle and meat was abundant. It reminded me a lot of the Vietnamese food back in Westminster, CA so I was a fan. Authentic and hit the spot for me! Two thumbs up.
This is an amazing place for Vietnamese food and pho. I always come here for the pho and it's very authentic and delicious. The service is amazing and fast. It can get busy at times but just be patient. The place has a nice restaurant vibe. The food menu is amazing and there are a lot of great dishes to pick from.
I felt like something a little different this evening and warm noodles in a cozy broth sounded great. I found this cute little place. From the outside, it does not look fancy, but the food is worth the stop. I was greeted right away and my order was taken very quickly. I asked about heat level and was pleased to see they had the chili flake sauce right on the table. The waiter also brought me a couple extra jalapeños without me asking. The chicken pho came out amazingly fast. Words cannot explain the wonderful broth. I probably could have enjoyed a bowl of just the broth. Yum! The chicken was shredded and the noodles were perfect. They also provided some shoots, basil, and lime for me to add. This was amazingly enjoyable. Hope you like it.
Its honestly changed for the worse. I'm so sad as this was my old go to for pho. The menu is decent and what you expect. The prices have gone up which is understandable for the rising cost. The portions are not that great, the menu is hard ish to see what options for sizing differences when I'm used to pho places having small medium large while here it's a general one size. My biggest gripe is the broth is warm, too black peppery, too lemon grassy. It's like not that light but rich flavorful broth that I remeber which sucks. Service is very show up get seated and the food comes out fast. It's very much getting a lower score due to my comparison over the years. The decor outside is cute for sure.
One of my favorite pho places. First time trying their chicken wings, it was yummy with the spicy mayo sauce.
If you were to ask me where to eat pho, I would happily tell you the best places to go. I could eat pho every day and have discovered some hidden gems along the way. I've been to this place many times, always giving it another chance, but I keep forgot why I am disappointed all the time. This time, I found a piece of hair in my meat, and that really grossed me out!
Immediately greeted and seated when we came in. There was only one man waiting the tables but there was only one other party there when we came in to eat. The man was very nice and attentive. The food was fantastic with great portions. The vermicelli bowl was huge and very delicious. The sauce for the spring rolls was great. The boba pearls in my milk tea was chewy. The chicken was crispy. The restaurant was clean and the music was good. Loved it.
Pho Saigon truly hits the spot when you're wanting a delicious bowl!! I'm practically a regular there- and I do like the taste of their standard pho combo! Their crab rangoons are also tasty as well! The service is super fast and they're all very friendly. Do recommend if you're craving some good viet food!
Absolutely amazing Pho! Very prompt service and attentive wait staff. Your food will basically be out before you blink so come hungry! Pho served with a plentiful amount of lime, mint, bamboo shoots, and jalapeño to cater to your preference. Tables have chili oil, sriracha, hoisin, and fish oil to make your Pho as sweet or spicy as you would like. You can tell when eating here there are many regular customers sitting and dining or calling in takeout orders which is always a great sign.
Place was ok. Broth wasn't the best I've had but it was good for a cold rainy day. Service was good and food came out quick. The Vietnamese ice coffee tasted premade and not strong.

It sooo good the and the staff are so kind I got a seafood pho and it did not disappoint my partner got a p5 which is brisket and it was also good. This is our second time here and we will be coming back read more
Came here bc my wife was craving some Pho. We live in Racine & there aren't many nearby. The prices were phenomenal. The place was right & started to fill up as we started getting settled in. I got the Eye Round Pho & my wife got the Combo Tenderloin Pho. For $14 to $16 you get a great amount of food. Warm & delicious. Very nice place. read more

Such great flavor each time I come here. Any of the pho and vermencelli is always cooked so quickly but at the highest quality compared to a lot of other places. The people that work here definetly put a lot of time and effort into their dining experience. read more

Stopped in for the first time at 11am on a Sunday after running some errands. The restaurant was steadily filling up with families, looks like a total locals spot. Got pork banh mi and pho to go and I am impressed. The banh mi is especially delicious, super soft and fresh bread and packed full of meat. The broth of the pho is flavorful and they are generous with the add ins. As I was leaving I saw some delicious plates on the tables of other customers. I will absolutely come back here. read more

It was a rainy Sunday and my husband wanted pho date night. Because, pho and rain pair well together in his estimation. Enter Pho Saigon. Pho Saigon is a pho spot in West Allis serving up some fragrant and delicious eats. It was the perfect spot for a rainy day date night. We began our experience with the vegetarian rolls, which was fresh and fabulous and came with peanut dipping sauce--honestly, what's not to love? For his main, my husband ordered the tofu and vegetable pho which he thoroughly enjoyed. I tried the broth, which was pitch perfect. I ordered the stir fried vegetables with tofu from their rice menu. The veggies came sauced and peppered with a cup of rice beside. Everything was perfectly fresh and delicious. It was also ample! I had to box some up to go. The service was great. Our food came out so quickly and our water was kept full. Get to it! read more

I love Vietnamese food especially bun rieu and bun bo hue. I was so excited to try the bun bo hue but it wasn't the authentic one. I certainly don't expect it to be identical than the ones I had in Hue, Vietnam but the broth wasn't even spicy and hardly had much lemongrass. There wasn't any shrimp paste to add as well. Not to mention the male Vietnamese staff gave us a small plate of veggies when we had 2 bowls of soups. Anyhow, service was fast and taste was alright. I mean, it's WI, and what can I ask for? read more
Bun Bo hue wasn't as spicy or bursting with favors as I remember... it was more like a slight twist on the pho. Pho was still good, and hubby liked it but said he felt a little cheated out of the meat today. *note to self: msg reaction high. May skip soup. read more

Had their vermicelli noodles and grilled pork and it was pretty good! Their service was speedy and staff all super friendly. As a Vietnamese person, their bun bo hue (spicy beef soup) and what I got tasted pretty good. I haven't tried their pho yet but I'll be back! Overall would recommend coming here if you want some Vietnamese food. read more
Wanted some good pho on a very cold Wisconsin winter day. It had been awhile since I've come here but I remembered it being the perfect balanced broth. And it did not disappoint. It wasn't too busy and the service was smooth for lunch on a weekend. My girlfriend and I ordered crab rangoons, and grilled beef rolls to start. Those came out relatively quick. The crab rangoons were your typical cream cheese crab rangoons. The grilled beef rolls were pretty good, had a nice texture and flavorful bite with the sauce that comes with it. I ordered the pho dac biet which is the combo and my gf ordered the bun Bo hue. The pho was just as I remembered, gives you that warm comforting feeling inside. Plenty of noodles and meats. My gf's dish had good flavor as well. No complaints from us. Also not pictured were the Vietnamese hot coffee and Vietnamese iced coffee. A little far from our usual spots but definitely worth making our way here! read more

Nothing makes a cool day better than a warm bowl of pho. I ordered the Large P5. I was HUNGRY. Pho Saigon has yet to disappoint. The service was very quick. My water was promptly refilled. The food came out quickly. I devoured my bowl. The flavors were good. The broth was flavorful. Hands down, the best pho in West Allis for me. I love to add my chili oil and hoisin sauce. I consistently come back here due to the service and food quality. read more

I'm always on the search for good pho, to find it the broth has to be good and it has to have good quality of meat. Pho Saigon is in my top #3 places to get pho. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was nice and tender. The place is nice and clean and the service is fast. They also have reasonable prices on their menu. I really enjoyed the spring rolls and the Thai tea with boba. I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. read more

We were searching for Pho and stumbled upon Pho Saigon. The food was really good and hit the spot. We ended up getting the chicken pho, grilled pork sandwich (banh mi), and veggie rolls, which were all really good. For takeout the pho was deconstructed and allowed you to put the amount of each ingredient and is perfect to save for the next day. The only thing that stood out is the price of the meals were different than the online menu. For example the grilled pork sandwich said it was $5.95 online and they charged $7.99, the veggie rolls were the same price, and the Pho chicken was $10.95 online and they charged $14.98. I'm not sure if they typically up charge for To-go orders, but it would be nice to have some transparency on price differences. Overall great and quick service, only took 10 minutes! read more

This is the spot for some great Pho, and BanhMi. The place has been packed both times I came. Really like the broth of this Pho, and the prices are lower than some other restaurants without lowering the quality or taking away from the quantity. The BanhMi is also a winner. I have very high standards for Vietnamese food because my mom is the best cook I know! Unfortunately, I will be moving away from her and moving to the Milwaukee area soon so while I was touring places in MKE, I thought it would be a good idea to also start finding a place to get Viet food for when I'm missing home! I did a random search and this came up. I came on a Friday night around 7:30 for dinner and they were pretty busy! I got the pho combo and the seafood pho ap chao. I've never heard of pho ap chao before and I don't even believe restaurants serve this in my hometown! It is wide rice noodles that are fried and then served with some delicious sauce with veggies and choice of meat. I think they could have added a bit more seafood to the dish, but it was delicious overall! The sauce was sweet and savory and really was a unique sauce that I've never had before. Now, for the pho review... it was honestly pretty good. I would give it a 7/10. It had a nice deep flavor. A bit on a sweeter end, but definitely not as sweet as some other ones that I've had. Similar to the other dish, I definitely think they could have added a bit more meat to this, but the regular size was more than enough for my appetite. The service was great! I am usually very patient with a family-owned and operated restaurant especially when they are pretty busy, so I didn't really bat an eye. However, they did a great job checking up on us and letting us know they are checking on our dishes when in all honesty, we probably placed our order like 5 minutes before. The prices were fair and reasonable. I really enjoyed the staff here, they were all so nice and sweet. read more

Who doesn't love a yummy hot bowl of Pho on a cold rainy day? My friends and I been here numerous times and we just keep coming back. This place gets pretty busy even weekdays. They probably have about 15 to 20 tables. I suggest arriving a little earlier if it's possible otherwise you might have to wait a few minutes. I ordered the shrimp spring roll, and Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The spring roll itself was just like any other restaurant. The dipping sauce was what set it apart from others because it was on the savory side. Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was decent. I never thought I would say this, but coming from a person who thinks jalapeño is too spicy, I wish the noodle soup was a little spicier. On another note, during my visit this time, my friend, who used the gentleman's restroom almost got stuck twice. During our dinner, we saw another guest who had to call the restaurant because he couldn't unlock the door. I think they're bathroom locked might be wonky so please be careful! read more
