The pho broth was one of the best I've tasted in town, very nicely seasoned, and I didn't have to add anything to add flavor. Also the protein portion was very generous. P2 special pho is same as P1 but slightly smaller bowl. I also tried the A3 appetizer, which is deep fried pork eggrolls, but with rice paper instead of the traditional wraps. I thought it was unique, and also a bit bland, so use the chili oil they serve with it to add flavor or the other sauces on the table. I mixed the sriracha and hoison to make my own dipping sauce. Spacious restaurant with neat Vietnamese decorations and art, it felt zen walking in with the Buddha statue in the corner as you enter. I came in 30 mins before closing time so they only took take out orders vs sit in. This is a family owned business so it looks like they want to wind down and close earlier than declared close time. I tried the P2 option because it had all different types of meat. The picture shows the vermicelli in a box shape from the take out box so this is not representative of what it would look like sitting in. I would come back to try their other dish! I also tried the fried rolls, which was pretty tasty, a little On the chewy side that I'm used to, as I'm not sure what the texture should be. If this were an all-vegan restaurant this would be a 5-star review, but my vegan entree was so delicious it deserves a 5-star rating all on its own! I was looking for a place to get a vegan meal with my non-vegan family that was halfway between Bay View and Sussex and online searching brought us to Pho 4 U since it said it had a vegetarian section on its menu. Generally when a restaurant has a vegetarian section, they can make something vegan too. Luckily, there were two already-vegan dishes on their menu, so I got the Dau Hu Xao Nam and it was GREAT! I actually ate the whole thing it was that good, because usually I eat half and take the other half home, but this was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. My family's entrees were just as good, they gobbled everything up. Wowie zowie. If I am EVER in this area again, I will definitely be stopping by. With some flaws: Pho P11: The soup was lukewarm. It's distracting. Vermicelli V24: Pork was good. Portion seemed on the smaller side - never had this vermicelli dish in such a small bowl before. The the noodles were all cut up, like the dish was made for people who can't use chopsticks and want to eat it with a spoon? It's a NOODLE dish!!! don't cut up the noodles!! Another thing on the gluten free issue. Had a friend with celiac's, who needed gluten free options. When asked about it, our server had to ask again it looked like he had no idea what "gluten free" was. Which is fine, but he didn't even blink before a brusque "we don't have that". It was very contrasting to another experience I've recently had where the server went above and beyond to understand my needs and explain some options. Even if there are no options, a better explanation would have meliorated things. One option I could think of right off the bat were the spring rolls, which has almost no seasoning in the preparation except the peanut sauce, which we can skip and go with the Sriracha instead. So again. It's OK. But the food could've been better. I'm really in between 2 and 3 stars here. read more

Came in January 13th, 2024 day after snowstorm. No other customers in the store. They had a sign up saying machines were down so cash only. Ordered a regular size pho combo and Vietnamese hot coffee. Was told their coffee machine was down too. So just got the pho. Jalepenos were old and not fresh so didn't put that in my pho. Broth was good, light and flavorful. Service was so so. I have been on a mission to find the best pho spot around and when I tried the food here I got the P3 which was size medium and had flank, tendon, brisket, and noodle soup which was 15.95. I also got the strawberry bubble tea which was 7.50. The bubble tea was really good I definitely did enjoy it I did feel like the price was on the more expensive side but the flavor made it worth it I would say. The pho was ok the broth was good in flavor but there was a lot of broth in the bowl. I enjoyed the noodles but I wish there were more noodles in the bowl I feel like the broth was filling up most of the bowl. The meat was ok I feel like it would have been better if it wasn't as tough since it was hard to break apart and took a little more time to chew. The young lady who served me was nice and patient with me when I changed my order last second. The food was also fast to come out which I was very happy about. The restaurant was nice, cozy and it was a decent size and it was clean and they also had the football game on at the time which I did enjoy. Wanted to try a different Pho spot in Milwaukee, son I ended up at Pho 4 U. They got a large menu accessible through the QRcode on the table. I decided to go for the beef stew with the sub. Which was on the lukewarm side, but of great taste. Perfect to dip the sub in there and enjoy the rich flavor. It was the right meal for me, I was still a bit full from lunch. Came here for an early (ish) family dinner on a Friday evening. The dining room is pretty basic (not in a bad way, but, just to say, this isn't necessarily a spot I would head to for lovely ambiance-ie: takeout would be a-ok!). Our party of three sat by the window and were brought menus and water immediately. We ordered their crab rangoon (due to our family rule that states if a restaurant has crab rangoon on the menu, we order the crab rangoon). It was delicious. The sauce was beautifully sweet with a slightly spicy kick and the filling was plentiful. For my main dish, I got the crispy eggplant. It comes served with a side of white rice and had a wonderful, slightly sweet flavor. It was delicious! One of my dining companions got the pad thai (reportedly a-ok) and the other got a bowl of pho (amazing and huge!). The unexpected star of the show? The vietnamese hot coffee. As my dining companion explained, "oh wow, that's decadent." In addition to the sweetness provided by the sweetened condensed milk, but coffee had a lovely nutty flavor that we so enjoyed. Broth- clean, sweeter side and had a good aroma scent. I think it had the right amount of oil, others may disagree but everyone had their own opinion. Noodles- perfect, not too hard or soft. Meats- it had the right amount, not too much or too little. Also had a few different cuts. Vegetables- bazil, bean sprout, jalapeños, lime The regular size is a bit small for my appetite so if you are hungry I suggest going with the large. Price- I believe the pho is well priced. Visited Pho 4 U while visiting family in town. I was looking for an authentic spot for a good Bahn Mi. This was phenomenal - I'll definitely be returning. This strip mall restaurant will surprise you. The first time I had their food, it was from delivery. My Pad Thai was fresh and tangy and hot and tasty, BF loved his giant Bahn Mi. I've ordered from here a couple times. It's been quite good. On one delivery I unfortunately ordered a vegetarian pho and got chicken, so I can't speak to the pho. Recently BF and I ate in the restaurant since our gym is around the corner. It was filled with happy customers early on a Monday evening. His pork eggroll bowl was excellent and much more food that he'd anticipated. My order of Hu Tieu Xao Chay (Chow fun noodle, tofu, assorted veggie, green and white onions stir fry) was filled with fresh vegetables and fantastic wide noodles. Service was friendly and efficient. I wanted to try a new Pho place so I jumped on yelp and saw that a new place has opened in Brookfield like a block or so from an established Pho place so I stopped by. I was greeted and menued right away, that should be a word and as I sat at the table looking at the menu the table next to me had two very young kids yelling and screaming so I just ordered take out, who the hell can enjoy a meal with kids screaming next to you. I ordered the traditional Banh Mi and the S3 Pho with rare steak, flank, tendon, tripe with rice noodles in beef broth. Everything was separated nicely and assembled nicely in a few minutes but it had very little cilantro and tiny basil leaves. The meats were just a little skimpy compared to other places and left me with plenty of broth and noodles. I thought the broth was on the weak side because it had no depth or beef flavor and I mostly tasted the Asian flavors. Although the Pho was good it was stuck in that middle zone of not the worst I have had but not one of the really good ones either that would knock off my favorites. The Banh Mi was spot on good with the fresh creamy bread and the sweet flavors from the veggies with the ham and pate but not the heat that I like because the jalapeños were sliced super thin for some reason. The charbroiled pork Banh Mi will be my next one to try when I'm back. read more

We have been a big supporter of the Pho restaurants in the area. Good ones are special and get a lot of business. It seems as though Pho 4 U is under new management and staff in the kitchen. We had the veggie Pho, which turned out to be a very light broth (no flavor) and some streamed veggies. It was pretty much tasteless. We also tried a past favorite, fresh spring roll. It was not like past rolls. The ingredients are there, but nothing else. The peanut sauce was just...yeah. Not sure I can describe it. First of all, I went on New Year's Day, so I want to cut them some slack on account of it. Though with that said i still feel like they shouldn't be forgiven for all the mistakes. When me and my group first went in, it was clear they were busy, there was still some tables that needed to be cleaned and cleared before we could've been seated. but once they saw us waiting they immediately cleaned off a table for us. was about 10 minuets before they came back to give us water and take our order. We ordered some appetizers which were: chicken wings, egg roll and some dumplings. we also got two strawberry bubble tea for the kids, one of us got the pho, i got the short rib w/ rice plate, and the kids got the shrimp fried rice. The one who got the pho, didn't really enjoy their pho. they said it was lacking in flavor. Since our table didn't get one of those condiment trays with all the condiments for the pho, we had to ask for one and the waitress was flabbergasted as to why we never received one. My short rib w/ rice plate was alright. Not much to write home about it, it was just overall decent. the meat was cooked nicely and the little dipping sauce bowl was quite nice too. The kids enjoyed their fried rice, though they thought it was a bit too heavy on the black pepper. they liked the chicken wings. They didn't really enjoy their strawberry bubble tea. they said it had very little strawberry flavor and was mainly ice. We didn't even get our other two apps till we were about ready to go and even then we had to ask three times to see where were they. Overall the service was quite nice, the three servers we interacted with was quite friendly and did a good job. it was clear that they really were trying their best on account of it being the holidays and things did seem like they were a bit chaotic. Food wise could've been better. the lateness of the apps and the pho being flavorless did put a hamper on things. in the end, I'll probably give this place another chance just to see if it was just an issue cause of the holiday. read more

Six of us did carry out. I've always felt that, for me at least, presentation and ambiance are half of the experience and that was especially true in this case. All of us ordered different meals and the flavors were good. I've had Pho Ga in many places around the country and this version was spot on. The fried rice that my wife had, however, did not "look" appetizing, but she agreed that the tastes were acceptable. Perhaps some day we can experience a served presentation. read more
