    Chicken phattie
    Nathan D.

Was a little bit of a wait but i must have been there during a busy time as it seemed to be a few orders before mine. I got the Chicken Phattie and it was delicious, fresh, filling, and huge. I actually got full from the 1st half and left the second half as my lunch the following day. I requested light sauce and I was informed I could get it on the side so I did that... and honestly it was so good it didn't need the sauce. Delicious

    Build Your Own Bowl

Wow, what terrible food. We go to The Citadel regularly and decided to try out a new restaurant. We tried Pho Sho and man where we disappointed. The crispy chicken bowl is just a chicken tender inside a bun with no flavor. The "build your own bowl" was just rice and protein, no sauce no flavor. This is not Vietnamese food, this is something else. Needless to say, we will never try it again.

So. I was super excited to some pho and some spicy bao. Located in the urban chic citadel, pho sho looked promising. It was the most lackluster meal I'd had in a long time. The broth was tasteless, had to dump alllll the sauces in even to get it to edible. The spicy chicken bao was also underwhelming. It was essentially a chicken tender on a bun with no spice flavor or anything. I even bought the 1.50 spicy add ons and it lacked flavor. So. I would avoid if you know what viet food is supposed to taste like.

    Bad customer service

DONT EAT HERE ! This place is not good at all !!! The food is not good ! The don't have real authentic pho it's over cooked and not clean chicken . It taste like old meat don't eat here ! They didn't want to offer a substitute or a refund and told me I'm complaining over and over again and was extremely disrespectful they are nasty people with nasty energy ! They didn't apologize or anything either ! They treated us horribly and I don't think I will ever recommend them or anything

Ordered chicken pho on Sunday night and woke up the next day throwing up, went to urgent care and was told I had food poisoning. If there's any way I can have my money back, I would appreciate it.

    Lemongrass chicken bowl

My first time in Miami. Didn't realize this restaurant was in a food hall. Got the lemongrass chicken bowl- barely had noodles and 4 small chicken. It was mainly made up with cilantro and herbs.. will definitely not come back.. but I should've known since Miami is mainly Cuban dishes

Pho Bo and crispy chicken bao bun
    Alexandra A.

Stopped by the Citadel on my lunch break and had Pho Sho for lunch. Tried the Bo pho which was tasty but the meat was a bit chewy. Flavor was nice though. The crispy chicken bao bun though, wow. They have a special on Wednesdays where you can get a free chicken or tofu bao bun with purchase of pho and the crispy chicken one was delicious. Flavor was so good and the sauces worked really well with it. I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. They're supposed to notify you that your meal is ready to get it at the counter but I never received it for some reason, so the man who took my order brought it to me which was nice. Also the ambiance of the Citadel is great. The music was old Cuban music while I was there which I love so I enjoyed sitting having lunch.

My granddaughter and I decided to try this place because it is supposed to be the same owner as another very popular vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the pho bo (beef pho), and she ordered the chicken. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls and a Thai tea. She said the chicken pho was good, but she has definitely had better. The crispy spring rolls were too crispy. Some parts were, we'll say extra well done. My beef pho was just decent but not a rich beef flavor. The meatballs were good, the beef was cut too thick, AND the broth did not taste authentic. Because the broth was not flavorful,  the beef was not. It was tender, the color was good, and it was pretty clear. Of course, there were bean sprouts, cilantro, lime wedges, and scallions. I asked for additional veggies on the side, and that bowl also came with cucumbers,  pickled beets,  and carrots. I also wanted it spicy, sambal oelek. I was charged $1.50. (I was ok with that) The broth lacked a rich beef flavor. I could not taste the pho broth ingredients, i.e., that hint of ginger, the chared onion, and toasted flagrant seasonings. I love pho so much. I have watched every beef pho recipe video on YouTube that I could find, and yes, I've made it myself. I have been to numerous Vietnamese restaurants, and I know good pho. It takes time and patience to make great pho. Unfortunately, Ann, the owner, missed the mark.  Benjamin, the young man who took our order, was polite and friendly. This was his first day working there.  The person fixing the food it was only his 4th day working there.  They were also friendly.  I will give this place another chance in a out 6 months, and we'll see.

Beef Pho + sweet chili summer rolls + banshee Santa Barbara Pinot Noir
    J M.

Hits the spot everytime! Just ordered the sweet chili shrimp summer rolls to go as I had a sudden craving on my drive home. The generous, flavorful scrumptious shrimp and fresh greens wrapped in rice paper and noodles was on point as always. A perfect light protein packed meal. In days when I need more, I'll dine in and order the hot pho noodles and save half of my summer roll for the next day. Super impressed with the top quality ingredients with a generous serve. Very unusual these days. Sad that lil Laos closed, but Pho Sho is hitting the spot For Sure!

    the interior of a restaurant

Inside the citadel food hall. Replaces the previous ramen shop in the same location. Vietnamese Pho restaurant opened by the owners of Phuc Yea in MIMO. Pho was good, but this was way too expensive. $17 for a bowl of chicken pho. Smaller than a small bowl at any true viet pho shop. Noodles were half portion. Thai tea was $7. I'm all about championing the growing Asian food scene in Miami, but these prices are not accessible for many people and you're pricing out a lot of potential pho lovers.

We used to have a really great pho place near us, but they have been closed for a few years now and we have been missing having some great pho, and I am so glad we came here! YUM! Something to keep in mind, they have very little parking in front of the restaurant, so you'll have to park in the garage behind it. It will look like it's reserved parking only, but it reads on the sign that floors 1 & 2 are for business parking. The restaurant itself was SO cute! They had a few cute neon signs throughout, nice decor - totally Instagram worthy! We set at the bar and was greeted by Lisa right away! She asked if it was our first time (which it was) and she helped us navigate the menu and gave some suggestions! It was happy hour while we were there (I love a good daily happy hour!) so we got some beers and some appetizers from the happy hour menu. We got the calamari and spring rolls! Spring rolls are a MUST with pho - and they were really good! The calamari was good as well - loved the sauce that it came with! For our pho, I ordered the American Wagyu Pho with Traditional Noodles. My husband order the same, but with the spicy broth and the flat noodles. I really enjoyed this pho!!! It felt like forever since the last time I had such good pho. We stayed for a few more beers on happy hour cause the vibes and music was really great! Lisa found me the name of the Spotify playlist too, which was awesome. She made our first time there a great experience so if we are ever back in the area (or in the mood for pho!) we will definitely be back!

So I jumped on Yelp to look for the nearest highly rated pho restaurant in came across Photastic. The yelp directions brought me to a parking space right in front of the restaurant. We arrived around 8 PM, an hour before closing. We were greeted immediately and sat in a nice table, which was clean and well equipped for a pho meal. Menus and water were brought immediately along with a warm greeting from the waitress. Immediately, I noticed that I had interacted with two members of the staff at each admin, gracious and welcoming. I found the discontinued through the entire meal with other people, stopping by to make sure that everything was perfect and being enjoyed by us. I went to the restroom to wash and noted it to be immaculate. This is usually one of the best signs that a restaurant pays attention to detail and I am always happy to see that they are meticulous. Our order was taken and we were served very quickly. First out was the condiments/toppings. The peanut based sauce for the spring rolls and the vegetables for the pho. We began with Gỏi Cuốn, Vietnamese spring rolls. Traditionally these are fresh shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and lettuce wrapped in thin, translucent rice paper served cold with a savory dipping sauce, often a peanut-based sauce and here they are customized with delicious fresh herbs and vegetables, as well as pork. Personally, I do not like it as much with pork, but had not noticed that it was made this way on the menu when I ordered and next time, I'll ask if it is available without the pork. I will say, however, that is hands-down, the very best Gỏi Cuốn I have ever eaten. My wife and I both ordered pho. She chose the chicken while I opted for the steak and meatball. We found all of the meats very chewy in texture, but they were extremely tasty. The portions were huge and the broth was delicious. The flavorful soups with fresh noodles and ingredients were both spectacular. Portions are excellent. I like mine spicy and the perfect condiments were available right on the table. The Matcha latte Boba tea was quite good as well. Prices were in line with other local restaurants which will somewhat high are right, where I expect them to be locally. The overall experience was great. I did notice that somebody walked in about a minute before the post to closing time and was turned away. While, I find this to be unusual in local family owned restaurants, it is certainly not unreasonable. So if you're a late eater, check the hours before arriving. This was my first visit in this restaurant has moved right onto my list of favorite comfort foods nearby my home. If you like pho, I highly recommend you try it.

The restaurant can only hold 2-3 people inside but it's really tight. 2 people is convenient. If you have a party of 3 or more people, you will be told to utilize the outdoor seating. The outdoor seating, The tables, chair, and many things like the menu, the sauce containers, and etc, indoor and the outdoors are really sticky, unclean and unsanitary, in my opinion. The water cups are really old and undesirable to use. My suggestion is to use the disposable chopsticks and anything disposable. The food is really Bland and small portion. It's bland that I had to shower it with sriracha. You would probably be really angry when it's serve to you specifically if you're really hungry. Comparing the portions of the bowl of pho is just about a yay size bigger than a Maruchan Ramen you would get in a one serving bag, not the cup. Average price of pho is $25.00 per bowl. 8 People came to about $215. Tip is included or mandatory. Customer service is noticeably unwelcoming. The server spoke to us only at the order taking, food delivery, and asking for their CHECK. The level of customer service is similar or about the same as many other customers came while we were eating. I would not express whether to recommend it or not, but please do check for yourself, as I'm sure they also need to make money to pay for their expenses. If you like the restaurant, please give them support as I'm certain that staffs work very hard to keep their business running. And I feel like I have to say this: some of these reviews are clearly linked to exposure. The pho here was FINE. Solid 3. The service? Not good at all. The woman who cooks/runs this place was all over the place. There was nothing kind, grateful, or warm about her as she took orders and prepared food. Her husband was nice but the lack of attentive service from her was not cool. She was very tuned in to the other couple dining but I called her several times (in that tiny space) and she seemed to not hear me. I also have to say that the size of their homemade teas is super generous. However, while I was there, two tables, including mine, were served Thai Iced Teas with sour milk. When I finally got the owner's attention, she frowned when I told her and said, "I just served that." And then went to the other table to double-check as if my words wouldn't quite do it. lol The other table confirmed it was sour. The owner took the cups, no apology or nothing, and asked us if we wanted it remade. I asked for a coke instead. A bottle was $5... five whole dollars. Egg rolls: okay. Def a bit bland.. Served with some weird ketchupy sweet/sour sauce. I asked for fish sauce, which was good. Paid about $36 for pho, egg rolls, and a drink. If this is your only pho option in the area, go for it, but i was not impressed especially once my stomach processed the sour milk.
