    Combination Pho

The pho was really delicious and the papaya salad was good too! Our server was super nice and gave great service. I'll definitely be back!

I was in the mood for some pho and decided to give Basilic a try. I ordered my food to-go so I didn't take any pictures of the food once I got home, however, the food was amazing and I would definitely go back. Food & Drinks: 9/10 I had the beef pho and the shrimp spring rolls. The beef broth is so tasty and flavorful. This was my first time trying spring rolls and they did not disappoint. I got the spring rolls with the Vietnamese sauce and it was amazing. I also tried one of their bubble/boba teas and that was also tasty. The pearls at the bottom of the bubble tea were great. Service: 10/10 The server who took my order was very sweet and patient. She ensured my order was correct and added extra veggies and sauces for my pho. Their customer service is genuine and the other servers were also attentive and helpful while I waited for my food. Ambiance: 8/10 It's a chill and comfy restaurant. The decor is simple but eye-catching. It's very clean and well-kept. Overall, I had a great experience even though I did not dine in. Can't wait to check it out again.

Salty with a weird smell..must be old soup that they heated up.

Really disappointed with my visit to Basilic Vietnamese Grill. I had high hopes, especially with the higher prices--I expected fresh, flavorful food, but it just wasn't there. The pho was bland and oily, and the meat was tough. It didn't have that comforting, rich taste you look for in a good bowl of pho. Honestly, it felt rushed and low effort. They also added a ridiculous service charge without mentioning it upfront, which was super frustrating. For what I paid, the quality just didn't match at all. Don't believe the other 4 or 5 star review this place is not it. Save your money and go somewhere else. ***1 star for the decor*** nothing else special

A spot that serves up vino right to the cusp of last call is A-Ok by me! I met up with my friend Cecilia for dinner here before her flight since it's close to work. Since it was a weekday, they closed at 9, and here I was working until just past 7. Located in a strip mall on Biscayne next to another favorite restaurant, there's a generous amount of parking. Besides, the extra on the wine our waiter was helpful in recommending dishes and being attentive to food allergies. Oh, and yes my glass was a moscato. I do want to check out some of their sakes sometime! I enjoyed their chicken curry. A creamy stew with a generous helping of chicken breast pieces, the sweet potatoes & coconut sauce mixed in with the heat of the curry gave it a spicy balance that made my taste buds happy. The white rice had just the right amount of stickiness. Definitely a great new spot for a casual bite and chat!

We were very satisfied with our meal at Basilic. The iced Viet coffee is a staple if you haven't tried it; robust yet sweet. The crispy egg noodle had a delicious sauce soaking the mixed vegetables. The vermicelli combination bowl had flavorful pork, crispy eggroll, and cilantro on top of carrots, radishes, and bean sprouts. I'd say for the price I'd expect more of both the pork and eggrolls. Overall though, service was quick and the interiors are done very thoughtfully. The owner and chef are both Vietnamese. A relative painted the three women in hats gracing the hallway.

We got in around lunch time and were seated right away. We aren't from this area, but it wasn't hard at all to find it. There were plenty of parking. I felt that it was an average pho spot. The pho here wasn't bad and the tech time wasn't bad, either. My pho came with the garnishments that pho usually comes with so I was happy to get that. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was pretty friendly.

Friendly staff! It's taste is okay for when you crave Vietnamese and don't want to drive to Davie. Convenient location.

My husband and I were looking for a place to satisfy our pho cravings and we decided to give Basilic a shot since we were in the area! Basilic is located in a shopping center near Total Wine with plenty of parking. The interior was very well decorated and had a fully stocked bar. My husband ordered a combination pho and added tripe and since they didn't have seafood pho, I ordered another seafood soup option on the menu. The serving size is very generous! I would say it is a medium size compared to the places I've been to that offer small, medium, large. My partner enjoyed his pho, although they forgot his tripe at first. He still enjoyed it. My soup was a little sweeter than I was used to but I really loved the wontons that were included in mine, so savory! The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon and they had a lot of regulars which is always a good sign!

What a great find "off the beaten path"! We loved our quick lunch at this very popular Vietnamese place. The portions were large (we shared a pho), and the service was prompt.

We came to this place because a friend recommended it. As we entered, we were quickly greeted and were offered our choice of seats. We looked over the menu, and I was expressed with the selection. We ordered the spring rolls, she ordered the beef vermicelli, and I dered the beef noodle bowl. I was delighted with my selection. It was tasty and had plenty of everything I liked in my noodle bowl. I really like the veggies, cilantro, and basil that are served with the noodle bowl on the side. The broth was good and not overpowering. The service was great. Tony was our waiter, and he was pleasant and very professional. Kudos to Tony. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

We ordered some sodas, spring rolls, beef pho, and combination pho. The beef/shrimp spring rolls were delicious; they come with a tasty peanut sauce and bright pickled veggies. The pho broth is warm and spiced beautifully, probably the best I've had in a long time. It's a pretty large portion as well, with lots of meat. I had to take my pho leftovers to go! The service was also really welcoming from start to finish. Our server Debbie was friendly and so attentive. She made sure we had fresh sodas to go and topped off my pho leftovers with more fresh broth before we left. The rest of the team was also on top of it, making sure our table was cleared of empty plates and topping off our waters. Not too difficult to find a spot in the busy Total Wine plaza, depending on the time of day. The space itself is bright, clean, and open. A really lovely spot for good food. Will definitely be back, for both the food and service. Great spot to have in the neighborhood. Thanks again, Debbie!

You walk in and immediately feel that local, unpretentious energy that's been missing from a lot of the scene. Do I love that it's on Biscayne? Not really. But the food more than makes up for it. For a bar-style environment, the food is consistently very good. Not just "good for a bar" ... like its actually good. The burger is a must (im pescatarian but my friend said it was delicious!) and their Eggs Benedict at brunch is easily one of my favorites in the area. Pair it with a Bloody Mary and you're set. their happy hour pricing is refreshingly reasonable, which is rare around here. I was talking to one of the bartenders and found out even their bread is made in-house. That kind of consistency and care, especially at these price points, is not easy to maintain and you can feel it in the food. It seems that their leadership (owner or manager, not totally sure) has always been present when I've gone and brings a great energy to the space. It trickles down to the staff and the overall vibe. You feel welcomed!!! I this is the kind of place that deserves real support. We started with the Focaccia Bread which was really delicious and I was told that it was made in-house so a big thumbs up to freshly baked bread of any kind! The drinks were really good too, I enjoyed an Espresso Martini which was yummy. For my meal I tried the Pasta Pomodoro, which was perfectly al dente and again, SUPER Delicious. My husband had the Pinch Burger and requested it Medium Rare. It was cooked to perfection. Sadly, we were much too full to try any desserts. Next time I'll start with dessert and work my meal backwards! LOL

She was very tuned in to the other couple dining but I called her several times (in that tiny space) and she seemed to not hear me. I also have to say that the size of their homemade teas is super generous. However, while I was there, two tables, including mine, were served Thai Iced Teas with sour milk. When I finally got the owner's attention, she frowned when I told her and said, "I just served that." And then went to the other table to double-check as if my words wouldn't quite do it. lol The other table confirmed it was sour. The owner took the cups, no apology or nothing, and asked us if we wanted it remade. I asked for a coke instead. A bottle was $5... five whole dollars. Egg rolls: okay. Def a bit bland.. Served with some weird ketchupy sweet/sour sauce. I asked for fish sauce, which was good. Paid about $36 for pho, egg rolls, and a drink.
