The closest pho place near UMass Med on the border of Worcester and Shrewsbury! Ample parking, incredibly fast service, reasonable prices and always satisfies your Vietnamese cravings in central MA. I've had their pho and summer rolls and I love both. The bahn mi I've definitely had better but the Vietnamese charcuterie is good so it gets sold out fast!! And who am I to judge Vietnamese food - I've never even been to Vietnam. My opinions are solely based on my American Vietnamese food experience. Update: I normally don't respond to owner responses to my yelp review, but this one got me interested. After being asked by someone I'm assuming is the owner to 'speak up' when I'm at the restaurant and 2-star rating doesn't help them or me (!), i'd like to state that I'm 100% sticking to my review. Ideally, they would change their recipe so that all vegetarian foods don't taste alike. But are they really going to do that? I'm entitled to my opinion and since i have not used any crass language or violated any Yelp rules, I will not be entertaining suggestions on what to do with my feedback on a restaurants quality of food. No wonder their ratings went down. I've tried 4-5 different dishes here. Other than vegan pho (delicious) everything else I've tried tastes EXACTLY the same. Busy little place. Kept clean, light music, good service. Wife quietly stated it's the best bun ria she's eaten in a long time. And she's a little lady who's eaten a lot of bun ria. So that's high praise. Restrooms kept very clean. I found no shortcomings with this place. read more

This is a regular go-to place for me! I always order the fresh summer rolls and a basic pho bowl. The pho is always tasty, and the food always comes out relatively fast. There is a good amount of seating, and I have never waited more than 3 minutes to be seated (even on a Saturday night). I would give this place 5 stars, however, when I ate there yesterday night, my waiter seemed to be all over the place forgetting to bring us drinks and stuff. I do think he was a new waiter though so he was probably getting used to the job. First time there. Decor is nice. Our waiter was friendly. Their juice was good. Their shrimp and summer rolls were just ok. Their pho, a disappointment. The broth was very plain. My husband rarely puts extra ingredients in his broth because he says it takes away from its flavor... however, he put mad shit in there to try to add some flavor in it. Didn't work. We wanted something light and fairly healthy so we decided to try out Pho Sure. We ordered the chicken ramen pho and a small veggies fried rice. I was surprised at how flavorful the fried rice was. The chicken ramen pho was very light but the fresh veggies and hoisin sauce added a nice flavor. I had mine spicy which was awesome. Also the service was awesome. Pho Sure to order the Sure Pho if your here for the Pho. Grilled pork over rice came with a huge piece that you can slap someone with. Disappointed that the spring rolls only came with three rolls for its price tag, skip. Do not get the seafood Pho, even in large, comparing to the large size of Sure Pho, it looked it was meant for juniors and how women were treated back in the 50's. Wait staffs were friendly and place was clean and offered sanitizer. But you need to ask for the sauces due to COVID. read more

My first time going to this pho restaurant on Saturday and I can honestly say that it's by far my favorite compared to all the other pho restaurants around Worcester. Setting: Clean, friendly, attentive staff. Although when I walked in, looked around no one really said much until I asked if I was suppose to self seat myself. Fun place we recently checked out tonight! Nice servers and quick food! My husband ordered Pad Thai: about $13 and very good! He also ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri which was also delicious. The Ramen is amazing! The spicy noodle dish is delicious, spicy food peeps will really enjoy it! They have a bar. Short beer list. Few wines. But basically a full bar. On a whim I passed by this place to see if they had grilled chicken summer rolls (usually found in Vietnamese restaurants) for takeout while running errands. They have by far (very far) the best Grilled Chicken Summer Roll I have ever had in MA. Not only were they a good size and tasty, they were nicely decorated. I was not expecting this at all. It was cold outside, I could feel a sore throat was starting to develop so I was in desperate need of some Chicken Pho---and boy did it come to the rescue! I had a sip and it was good, a bit on the sweet side though. Not the best iced Vietnamese coffee he's had, which off the topic, the best Vietnamese Coffee actually came from a place in Hudson called the Microcreamery. A big guy with dreads there makes the BEST Vietnamese coffee! Go figure! Anyway, then out came the soups, pretty quickly, though a bit too quickly as they had forgotten to bring us spoons and our sprouts and lime. No biggie, with a reminder they brought everything right over. The soup broth was savory, a decent amount of chicken, not a ton, but acceptable. The soups really hit the spot! My husband got the meatball Pho and was too busy slurping away to make any decent conversation, so it must have been good! The waitress, who was very nice, recommended the Taro Smoothie over the Iced Taro, which I took her up on her advice. They've got to get their act together. Firstly the waitstaff is horrible. They are a bunch of unseasoned kids who have no social skills or restaurant knowledge. The owners should take some time and get waitstaff that know what they are doing. I work 10 hour days and when I've called for take out their phones rings and goes to a message. I called 15 times the other night never getting threw. I arrived and asked why no one picks up the phone and was told " cause so many calls" Listen up it's not rocket science get someone to work the phones with take out orders. This Vietnamese restaurant is a frequent for us. The vegan noodle soup bowl is delicious (especially warming and comforting on a dreary rainy day). I love their boba drinks- would recommend the black milk tea or the taro milk tea. They have vegan and vegetarian options, all of which are really good. We had a wonderful lunch here a few days ago with my partner. We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer (which I forgot to photograph because we gobbled them right up). They were delicious! I ordered the ramen with pork and shrimp. Super fragrant and flavorful! I couldn't finish it so I took it to go. When I hear it up the next day, the broth was twice as delicious! My husband got the Pho & it was also flavorful & delicious. We got hot tea & boba tea, and both complimented the meal. The positives outweighed the negatives which are: 1) Waiter forgot to bring out the appetizer we ordered, so we skipped it; 2) It was weird listening to pop music in this atmosphere.
