Best Pho in Brighton. I most often order the rare steak pho. The kids love the chicken pho.

The food was good once we were waited on. It took them almost 20 minutes to come and get our order. The Pho came, but no garnishes (bean sprouts, jalapeño, Thai basil, and lime), I had to go ask for them. 2 of our party ordered Boba drinks and they came when we were almost done with our meal. We asked 2 times for the check, and after 30 minutes, we snagged a menu, added up our meal, and then left cash. One of the 3 people working there came running out as we left to ask if we wanted our change, and then he told us that they had a water issue, and the water had just been turned on after being out for an hour. It appeared that there was one person working the dining room, one person working at cashier, busing, setup, and drinks, and one person cooking. I'm someone that will let one bad experience go, so I'll try this place one more time, but if the service is the same, I won't be back. read more

They are currently take out only, but it is actually better. They prepare all ingredients separately and give good instructions on how to put them together at home. Generous amounts of ingredients, and same great flavors as Dining in. Definitely do again! read more

New ownership claims that they have copied old ownerships recipes and serve the same food. This is a terrible representation of the old ownership. The old ownership cared about what they put out. The food quality and flavors used to be amazing. Now I just got an order of dumplings and they tasted like nothing but rubber. Went to this Pho place when visiting from another state. I saw good reviews so why not try. Good service, looks clean, nice staff.The only reason I'm giving two stars is because everything on our order was soooo salty. We tried eating only the veges on the Pho and avoiding the soup but even the veges are salty. The grilled chicken is the same. We used to like Pho and finish our bowl but this one we did not. If you have issue with saltiness it would be better to let the staff know ahead or try eating somewhere else. read more

Absolutely delicious. The tofu pho with the tofu spring rolls are to die for. Well made, and always have enough for leftovers.

I mean... It's ok in a pinch. Meatballs were not made in restaurant. The broth was oily and a bit Smokey. Not as clear and clean tasting as it should be. The veggie broth, normally spicy in every pho place I've eaten, was not at all spicy here. For all I know it wasn't actually veggie broth. It could have just been normal broth and they told me it was veggie. Did not get a sauce plate for hoisen and stitches. Much better versions on south federal in Denver. We'll be making the drive for phò from now on. This place just doesn't come close. read more

This is the best Pho and dumplings you can find. I've eaten at many Pho places but have never gotten the pure joy I get after dipping a dumping and letting it melt in my mouth! Stop in here yesterday. Excellent customer service. Lots of parking. I ordered the shrimp pho and it was delicious. I thought the broth was excellent, a little sweet. It reminded me of some broth I had in Houston. The waitress was very attentive. Waters always refilled and even boxed up my soup. I don't come to Brighton often but I'll be sure to stop in again. read more

Good food. Been twice. I had a 9 month old fussy. She ate some didn't get sick. I liked it. Shrimp is good. There was a huge party that came in. They spoke non English to serves and such and my goodness the entire table made an extreme mess like I have never seen before. I wouldn't let my kids do that. My 9months old ate played and I think one noodle landed which I picked up. One wet wipe and good to go. Took extra time at table bc bf got held up with road work. So I waited. Ordered more. Parking isn't the best but is ok. Felt actually really bad for them for their clean up. They didn't show huge disgust or anger. Just busy cleaning it up. Refills can be hard to get on drinks when they are busy. Just remind em they bring it over pretty quick. Go to spot in Brighton when traveling. read more

This place use to be excellent but i think they're under new owners or something recently i placed my order via phone was told 15-20mins i arrived accordingly. The place was packed way past capacity i have no idea why this day of all days however i was asked my name and the server read the name on a bag of food sitting on a counter but never gave me my order i sat an additional 35 mins before i received help again at which time i read my orders name myself the idiot asked me my name which i even spelled out and my name is not hard to understand or make out at all it's only 4letters and not of the profound type but after an hour of sitting on the ledge i was finally given my now cold order along with some melting bobas i was distraught to say the least and wen i asked for a different boba they wanted me to pay additional 10dollars wtf why was i not even offered a discount i asked for one and thought he was in agreement but they still charged me full price i should have never taken the meal or i should have walked out with it long before but i had already invested over an hour by this time n i really was in a Vietnamese mood but mark my word i will indeed get my money back from these dirt bags and then some read more

This place curbed my craving for pho. It wasn't THE BEST pho that I have had, but it was good enough. My only gripe is that the noodles were overcooked by the time the broth was cool enough to eat. The raw steak was about the quality that I would expect for the price. The servers were attentive even though I came in close to closing time. The food is great, but make sure you don't take your little kids. They don't like families with little kids at this location. Especially if you have small kids that tend to make noise and a little mess. The staff would "check" on us constantly asking us to have the kids be quiet, not make a mess, and not have the kids drop the noodles on the floor. Instead of how's your food and need more water. This place does have good food, but I will not be returning to this location since they have bad customer service. read more

Well, whaddya know, a new restaurant in Brighton that isn't MEXICAN!!!!! Huzzah! And Vietnamese, my favorite cuisine that is (for me, at least), impossible to make at home! First off, I gotta say, I got a tremendous laugh out of the review that said, "Don't bring your kids, they don't like kids here, etc." If only that were true! I can't count the number of times I've had a meal RUINED by somebody's obnoxious little savages. Incredible that the reviewer didn't have a CLUE as to how irritating his/her children's behavior can be to other diners, and HURRAY that the staff wasn't having any of it! This place calls itself a Noodle House, and that is basically true. Not a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes, mainly pho, noodle bowls, and rice plates. But that's OK with me, because if you make a decent combo noodle bowl, you got me. My only criticism is the Viet egg rolls are kinda skimpy, skinny rolls, barely crispy, and somewhat lacking in flavor. But the grilled meats are WIDE strips of beef, pork, and chicken, and the presentation is pretty. I wish these places would get a little less stingy with the shrimp, TWO shrimp is not enough for me, and I would gladly pay a couple more bucks for more. This place was a truly execrable Chinese buffet in it's previous incarnation, filthy, run-down joint, and the bathrooms were an exercise in third-world horror. They've fixed it up quite nicely. Service is actually GREAT, for Brighton, but they still have some uneven spots, like the server forgetting his order pad, and making us wait a few more minutes to order while he looked for it, but, hey, FOR BRIGHTON, that's pretty minor. These guys won't replace our favs, Vietnamese Cafe or Saigon whatever-the f*** in Westminster, but now we don't have to drive 20 miles to get a decent Vietnamese meal. read more

I am visiting from Virginia, and my aunt was in the mood for some pho for lunch. It wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. I liked that we were brought waters when sitting down since I was really thirsty and I think it's just courteous for restaurants to always provide water for customers without having to ask. We were given time to look over the menu. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli and added a shrimp egg roll for $1.50 more. The food didn't take too long to come out. I really liked the marinade used for the shrimp. The vermicelli was cooked well, and sauce was added on the side. To me, the sauce was similar to the taste of the sauce used for fried spring rolls at most Vietnamese places. I've been to Pho TJ several times but have yet to review. Let me begin by listing my very limited sampling off of their menu. Regarding food, I can speak about the Pho, specifically Pho Tai Chin (rare steak & well done brisket) and meatball, spring rolls and iced coffee. The Pho is pretty darn good. Best in Brighton? Well, first off, that's not saying much. Brighton isn't exactly brimming with Vietnamese restaurants and despite what a few others say, I've been quite pleased with Chopsticks' cuisine. That said, TJ never fails to provide a tasty bowl of noodly goodness. The spring rolls are also good, though neither are the best examples of their respective dishes I've ever consumed. Finally, the iced coffee. It's good, what else need be said? The decor is decent. It is a bit on the dark side (not in the Star Wars way but rather overall illumination), neither repulsive nor amazing, but fairly good on the whole. Service is also decent. I've had friendly and attentive service and I've had amiably indifferent service. Though, I've never had truly bad service. Unlike most Pho joints, I have had the occasion to order bowls to go. I'm pleased to report that their accuracy and timeliness both earn high marks. Additionally, I've never felt I've sacrificed portion size for the convenience of eating off site. Kudos! To sum up, the quality is very good, service decent, decor serviceable and location convenient. This establishment is a keeper, giving Brightonians another option while giving other restaurants incentive to keep their pencils sharp. read more

Fantastic. My dad and I rolled through here a few years ago and he wasn't impressed. But I talked him into another try with Mom. (The real critic). She loved it. I noticed it was clean, fast and tasty. I thought the only good Vietnamese places were next to smoker friendly.... Guess I was wrong ;) The spring rolls were simple, great, but no filling or herbs. I drown those bad billys in soy sauce any way so not sweating it Vietnamese egg rolls were quite bomb. My mom got the Bundac Biet she said it was better than most. Great pho!!! I moved to Colorado from the Bay Area...lots of great pho...and I have been searching for pho! I love this place. The service is good, the restaurant is clean and the food is fast. The broth is tasty and fresh. The meat is good. All the veggies that they give are fresh too. A small bowl is plenty and I'm a big guy. For a guy who didn't think he liked Pho, I was very pleased with the entire experience. My wife won a bet and this is where we ended up, It was either this or Sushi and I'm very glad the wife decided on this instead of fish bait to eat. I'm a meat and potato kind of guy and didn't think I would enjoy Pho as it was described to me but the meal was very tasty and enough food to fill me up. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. It seems as though they have a good following of diners. I had the Beef Vermicelli Noodle bowl with a egg roll and it was amazing. The price was a great value because this is a dish I wouldn't take on making at home because of the list of ingredients and time it would take to make and I don't see anything I would change to make it better, therefore, I will leave it to the experts here at Pho T J. The only thing that really bothers me about this place is the next visit I make, do I try something different and hope for the same outcome of satisfaction or do I stick with the same entree and try and relive the experience? read more

I'm impressed. I was welcome as soon as I hit the door. Lots of lunch clientele. I had the pho with brisket and sliced rare steak and was knocked out by the broth. I fished for answers from the cashier suggesting that they used clarified butter or pork but she informed me that it was a pure beef broth.
