My experience for takeout. Ordering online is easy. They have a good combo (drink and appetizer for $6.95). I got there a few minutes early from the window time and they had it ready for me. The appetizer trio was good but not as hot as I wanted it. The drive was 3 miles so it wasn't long. The broth for the pho was super hot. Their convenient fees aren't the greatest, but I don't know if that is a Denver thing or not because I'm not from here. I came here with a group of four to get boba before going to the movies near by. They have a large boba selection, the service was quick, and there were many seating options. The bobas we got, matcha brown sugar boba and mango milk tea were on a wide spectrum of sweetness. The matcha brown sugar boba was very very sweet and the mango milk tea was barely sweet at all. I don't think that I have ever written a review for a place without having the opportunity to provide some insight on the quality of food, but I guess there is (unfortunately) a first time for everything? We stopped in around 1:30 on a Monday afternoon for some lunch after driving around for a while to find a spot to eat. Right off the bat we noticed that the "Sorry, we're closed" sign was up in the window... but there were a bunch of people sotting around the tables inside...? This was slightly confusing but we decided to walk in and try our luck. The layout is a little funky, as this space used to be a Noodles and Company, and it's geared more towards ordering at the counter and taking your meal to a table to enjoy; full service dine in doesn't feel like the main focus, if that makes sense. We spent a good few minutes standing next to a "please wait to be seated" sign before moving toward the register and being acknowledged. There was a young girl at the register that finally looked up and asked us if we were there for a table, to which we replied yes. She grabbed a couple of menus and looked around for an open space and settled on a table that seemed to be a catch-all for a bunch of napkin holders, small menus describing specials, etc. After pushing all of that aside, she set up our menus and left. Twenty minutes passed and she still had not come back... the dining room was not overly busy. We looked around and actually saw that there were people sitting at tables with menus who had arrived before we did who did not appear as though they'd been helped. The girl was at the register the whole time, and hadn't even looked up from whatever she was doing. There was a young man behind the counter that looked to be filling a few takeout orders, but he was looking around the dining room from time to time and didn't say anything or prompt his colleague in any way. The whole thing became really awkward and uncomfortable. We unfortunately decided to leave after sitting at our table for nearly thirty minutes without so much as an "I'll be with you shortly." I feel I am a pretty patient person, but I was really bummed by this experience. Not sure I would come back here, in all honesty. read more

With the opening of Mile High Pho, we now have the option of not having to trek all the way into the heart of Broomfield to get our pho fix...unless we really want to, of course. If you live in or adjacent to Louisville, the location of Mile High Pho definitely has an advantage over the well-known pho places in the unofficial Little Vietnam area in Broomfield. The price point is similar, the pho broth is flavorful, and you get the same plentiful amount of meat. During my most recent visit, I ordered the shaking beef. While the Mile High Pho version is strong on the vinegar and heavy on the onions, it was still filling. It was also great to see that they have a dedicated kid's menu. Oh, and this place has a Mile High Challenge where you can test your pho love and attempt to eat 3 pounds of noodles and 3 pounds of meat and loads of broth in 60 minutes or less. We ordered online. The pho was delicious, staff behind the counter were friendly, and the order was prepared lighting fast. I didn't love that they charge an extra "online fee" (so I guess you save $1.50 by ordering over the phone?) and also a "carryout fee." And before you submit the order, the form asks how much you want to tip... that's an awful lot of added fees considering we took our own order and we picked it up ourselves. Plus it's super tacky to ask someone to tip for a service that hasn't been completed yet. read more

We loved everything we got! Pho is always great, ANYTIME! We started off with tofu spring rolls (yes, they have multiple vegetarian dishes), vegetable and regular egg rolls, and cheese wontons. All well seasoned with flavorful dipping sauces. Pho dac biet had plenty of meat and the broth is wonderfully made. I am Vietnamese and cook plenty at home, so I feel like I have a good opinion on this sort of thing. The owner and staff was also very nice and accommodating to our large group. Come check this place out! I think they also have some Chinese and Thai dishes..so it's not all Vietnamese! However, I'm ok with all Vietnamese food as well! I really wanted to like this place more. My pho (brisket with meatballs) was solid, but I could have used some more veggies with it. But I have to comment about the horrible lack of cleanliness. When I walked in for lunch, half the tables in the restaurant were not cleaned up from previous customers. People were awkwardly looking for clean tables. One of the tables in the corner is sort of a makeshift office with papers strewn about, which is pretty messy looking. The carpet was disgusting, and there was stuff all over the floor. Looking in on the kitchen area from the cash register area did not instill a lot of confidence that this was an A+ on the last health inspection. This place needs a thorough scrub down. read more

Unfortunately I have to make a negative review today. I ordered a rare steak and meatball pho and both meats were unpleasant. The broth has no authentic taste to it, missing a lot of love. Plus, in the packet that is provided , in the to go order, there was a tiny piece of lime, tiny jalapeño piece, and no cilantro and onion. Feels like I just wasted my money, but it's okay. Tried a new Pho place for lunch today and I have to say that I was severely disappointed and mislead by all of the positive ratings. Those few reviews with the low ratings clearly know their Pho and why this place is lacking. We ordered the rare steak, 1P I believe, and chicken potstickers. Neither dish had ANY depth of flavor. The whole point of Pho is the broth and I couldn't believe how bland it was. The sauces on the table didn't help any either and I was bummed that they only had sriracha and not the garlic chili sauce as it would of improved the dish immensely. Love, love, love the broth. As many of you who grew up on pho know... it's all about that juice!! Amazing flavor that reminds me of my mom's homemade pho. Even the noodles and meatballs taste like what my mom cooks. It's hard, if not impossible, to find a place that makes a traditional dish like your mama's. Other big players: the veggie egg rolls were made with that crispy paper that I prefer over the wonton wrappers. I'd forgo the meat for a crispier, crunchier egg roll any day! Loved the cheese wontons, super crispy with a nice sauce and perfect ratio of cheese to crispy skin. Mile High Pho is exactly what you'd expect from a pho place in Louisville, Colorado. Being a Louisville native, I was extremely exited to hear that a pho place started here. It means I won't need to drive to Boulder or Broomfield for pho anymore! However it seems that location and convenience is pretty much all they had going for them so far. I'll start by saying that I don't think it's the worst pho I've tasted, and the Special Bowl I ordered is actually quite nice for Vietnamese comfort food. The prices are quite fair as well for the portions. The food otherwise have been fairly bland. It's hard to find anything noteworthy regarding the tastes besides that it's a bit sweeter (more friendly towards an American audience). What kind of bothered me was actually the layout of the restaurant. The entrance is confusing as immediately after you walk in, there's a half-wall blocking you from progressing. The design felt similar in how Chipotle or a Smashburger looks like. What kind of annoyed me was that I was on a date night with my wife who wasn't feeling well (therefore pho might help), but despite all of the couples tables and a booth that was opening up, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant on a communal table. The atmosphere didn't feel great since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy and we felt like we stood out on a sore thumb. The only reason I decided to give this place 3 stars instead of 2 is because it's a brand new restaurant and I want to encourage new types of food being introduced to places like Louisville. Additionally, the owner was also very active in walking around the restaurant, asking how people have heard about them, etc. However, on that note, this store has been doing some fairly aggressive marketing such as putting fliers on car windows (which we have of). Up to you to decide if you like that or not. I definitely see myself coming back simply for the convenience. Fingers crossed that as time goes on, due to it having fairly low competition in a city like Louisville, the restaurant can continue to change and grow to explore new styles of flavor. read more

After the Marshal fire we were very sad to see it closed for a long time. When it finally opened again we were stunned to see how much it had improved! I have a cold, and pho was what I wanted. Delighted to find this place in the neighborhood. It's not exactly fast food (thoughtcrimes the decor hasn't changed much from the former Noodles in this spot)there is table service. Apparently the owner thought our service not fast enough and brought us free egg rolls and dumplings. Hubby had chicken curry which he said was perfectly acceptable. I had a medium size beef pho and it too was just what I wanted. There's lots more on the menu, so we'll return to try other dishes. read more
