Best Thai value around huge portions, delicious, and fast. I order vegan and the pad kee mow! Is incredible. Love this spot for my Thai fix

I was craving Pho and looked up the closest location that was open. Arrived at 4 pm for an early dinner and was sat and served immediately. I ordered that crab wontons and beef pho. Both came out in less than 5 minutes. Wontons were crispy and tasted great. Pho was good as well, had lots of noodles. I will be coming back again to try the pad tai.

Pho was fantastic here! Be careful of the homemade chili oil, it's delicious but got some serious heat.

The main thing that impressed me about this place is how HOT the food was. No, not the spiciness (which was pretty underwhelming, more later), the TEMPERATURE. It was PIPING HOT. And it came to my house via Door Dash! I guess those bags are insulated well. Pho Vietnam is obviously more of a Vietnamese place than a Thai place, but they do have Thai dishes. Why did my dumbass order Thai from a Vietnamese place? I was hungry for Thai, and feeling lazy...I couldn't find any Thai places that were delivering. The food was good and the portions were generous, but it was very underspiced. I ordered green curry, which is my usual "benchmark food" for Thai joints. I ordered it 5-star in spiciness and it was very mild. How mild? It was so mild that I thought I may have mixed up the to-go boxes and swapped mine for my girlfriend's. That wasn't the case. The food here is not very spicy. I know, shame on be for getting Thai from a place that doesn't specialize in it. I'll definitely order again from them though, 'cuz the piping hot, and they my being incredibly lazy. I'll get a Vietnamese dish though.

There is a decent number of Asian in AK, but I think the asian restaurants here are pretty meh. We didn't try that many places, but we weren't really impressed with any. For example, the pho at this place lacks some flavors, feel like it is more suitable for western people. The spicy noodle soup is not even close to what it should be. The broth just doesn't taste the same. The portion is huge tho. Not too sure if I'd come back

You can tell from the photo that my pork with mixed veg stir-fry came with a decent quantity of pork and fresh vegetables. While it was satisfying overall, you can probably also tell from the photo that it was just a touch on the oily side. Also, the pork was a little overcooked (or possibly not of the highest quality); I'd probably go with chicken next time. The menu here is quite extensive, and on future visits I'd like to try their pho and vermicelli bowls.

My favorite pho spot. I will go out of my way to eat here. The price for what you get is great. The vegetables are the freshest I've ever had. I love how thin the steak is cut for the pho, it almost melts in your mouth. The meatballs are huge so they're sliced, just something different to appreciate. The broth is my favorite. Just the right amount of fat, good clarity, and a rich beefy flavor rather than just salty beef like you get at other places. The noodles are consistently cooked well and have a great mouthfeel. Nothing sucks more than overcooked pho noodles. The staff is friendly and it's just great food.

I was meeting a business partner, hadn't eaten that morning and he suggested Pho. It was right around the corner from where we were. So I've been to their main location off Denali St. and really like their the beef pho and duck pho so I went with the beef and liked it too. It was good pho and it was packed with meat. Comes with the the traditional Thai basil leaves, cilantro, limes, and mung beans. I like the interior better here too it's more inviting with high booth breaks giving some privacy oh and it has a Flat TV but I can't remember what was on. Lol! We were talking about our families and having fun!

Inside of pork bun! Tons of filling!

Our waitress, Katie, was simply amazing. We had a party of six, and she didn't write down a single order--yet every meal, every side, and every drink came out exactly right. We were all impressed! Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism made our dining experience exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The halibut bites were perfectly crispy and delicious, the dill salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the filet was cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The blueberry beer was also fantastic and a unique local treat that paired wonderfully with the meal. From the warm welcome to the flawless service and incredible food, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. If you're in Anchorage, Alaska Chopped & Chowder is an absolute must-visit!

With our reservation, we were seated pretty quickly, and I thought the restaurant had a cute nautical feel inside. I ordered a cider, and Colby ordered a glass of wine. For our appetizer, we shared the chowder sampler, which, being from Cape Cod, I had never seen before. The presentation was super cute, with each chowder served in its own tiny mug. All three were delicious and tasted freshly made. For my meal, I ordered the fish & chips, which were very good. I was a little disappointed that one piece of fish was missing batter on one side, but overall everything was still quite tasty. The bathrooms were clean, and I found the staff to be generally friendly, aside from a few comments that we chose to let slide. Overall, this was a really nice spot for local seafood, and there is plenty of free parking outside. We would definitely recommend it if you're looking for fresh seafood while visiting Anchorage.

We sat both inside and outside, and of course you can't beat outside on a nice day. Service is attentive and patient. They try to put us and our kids far away from the other customers which I appreciate (as I'm sure the others do too). The vibe is a little nicer than casual, I think you could make this a cute date night or a quick stop on the way to Girdwood or the peninsula. They have a good selection of draft beers and their food is great. I had the Caesar both times, but also tried their salmon burger and lemon spaghetti, which I shared with the kids. My recommendation for kids is to skip the basket of fries and get tots instead. I don't care for the skin on fries as much, but the tots were perfect. They seem to have a lot of interesting, fresh specials like a halibut Reuben that I'm sure is tasty. It's a great little destination when you want to get out of the house in the summer but don't want to do the same old spots in Anchorage. Check them out, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

When we got there we were brought to our seats. It was a long shared table for everyone. It seems as they were lacking some preparation, there wasn't a course menu on the table so you had zero idea of what you were about to be served. The first course came out, a carrot soup with an IPA. The IPA didn't come out for at least 5 minutes after the soup was out. Definitely some lag time there. Carrot soup 3/5 The short rib with golden yukon mashed potatoes was next with the caison which was amazing both the beer and the food. Short rib 5/5 The dessert was an interesting dark chocolate cake with burnt marsh mellow frosting situation. It was very dense and a large portion. I would have enjoyed the cake if it was fluffy and light after the big short rib entree. Dessert 3/5 The service was good overall, it was cool to have the brewers sit next to us and chat with them about beer. I think there's some work that could be done here at these events for the price of the tickets but overall the experience was very nice.
