    #13 Pho with brisket

The perfect spot for a bowl of comfort! The restaurant is tiny and filled with the smell of delicious food being prepared. We have started getting two ordered of their cream cheese wontons because they are fabulous. I always get the #13 pho and it's perfection. Hot broth over perfectly cooked noodles with tender brisket. So good! The owners are a sweet couple and always greet us with a smile and hug!

So pleased to know there is a good pho place in WV! Had the shrimp dumplings which we very good and the pho with every topping. Was very good and big portion. Service was excellent and staff as very friendly. Would highly recommend if in the area and needing a pho fix!

This is the best place for Pho in the area. The food is authentic and the service is fast. The pork dumplings are also good. I usually get the hot chili sauce up at the counter and add to everything! Family run restaurant in South Charleston is a regular stop on my restaurant rotation in town. They are nice people and make some great Vietnamese food! I highly recommend.

Incredible food, quick service, and lots of space. A perfect spot to have lunch with many options on the menu.

Solid Vietnamese Food. Attentive service and fresh ingredients. Will return. They close early , so get in before 7pm. Nice family run place in a funky artsy neighborhood.

Pho is very legit. Broth is fresh, and delicious but not as robust as others that I've tried at the best pho joints. They pulled a clump of bean sprouts out on to the side plate without checking them. A chunk of rancid bits in the middle rendered the whole pile a do not eat. The steamed shrimp dumplings had a curiously old shrimp taste as well. I've had these MANY times at other Asian joints. They were off. The orange chicken was a lot of breading, and very little chicken. Not what was pictured in their official photos. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was served 2/3 full and a bit too thick, but tasted good. Dining room was super clean. Service was earnest but occasionally a bit hard to get. South Charleston parking is pretty easy to find. Located a few hundred yards from a Dow Chemical plant, with a bunch of "No Photos" signs at the gates DOES give me this Erin Brockovitch-like pause about eating in this area. We don't make the water. We make the water glow so prettily. My hunger, though, after a couple of hours of snake-curved mountain roads, gets the better of me. The pho photos sell it too well. By Southern California, or Port Arthur Texas standards for a Vietnamese joint? A solid three star. Won't thrill ya, won't kill ya. For South Charleston, West Virginia? The long and the short of Pho Vinh Long? The best Asian food in town that I've tried on several passes through town.

Food here was very good. Pho was delicious. The broth was rich full of flavor. The fried rice is also super yummy. Highly recommend it. The bubble tea was good too. 1 star for unfriendly staff. Not welcoming at all. Did not come to check on us. Asked for check and they said pay here at counter. Just not hospitable. But I would still go back despite the service because the food was that good!

Love the Pho here. I've been to quite a few Viet restaurants and this is still one of my favorites. Best pho in town, and those spring rolls are amazing. I enjoy their Bon Ba Hue a whole lot, and their fried rice dishes are really tasty. This is a pillar of South Charleston restaurants that you have to try. You'll not be disappointed.

Bad service, rude wait staff. Close earlier than the signs advertise. Would not recommend due to this reason alone.

Ordered the bun bo hue, tasted more like broth with hot sauce. Noodles were very thick and the soup tasted like spicy water mire than broth.

The cashier was also very patient, answering all of our questions about the milk teas, toppings, and yogurt drinks. After scanning the menu one more time, we ordered three drinks: * Mango Milk Tea with boba pearls (50% sugar) * Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba pearls (75% sugar) * Taro Milk Tea with boba pearls instead of coconut jelly/nata de coco (25% sugar) My daughter loved her mango drink -- perfectly sweetened to her taste and full of real mango chunks. My sons enjoyed the brown sugar milk tea, which reminded them of taho (a Filipino comfort food made of soft tofu, brown sugar syrup, and pearls) because of the syrup that coated the cup. I had the taro milk tea at 25% sugar, and let me just say... it was slurpy-licious! Next time, I'm definitely going to try a drink with ube (purple yam) and of course the Halo-Halo -- the ultimate Filipino shaved ice dessert layered with sweet ingredients which needs to be "mix mix" (halo-halo) before enjoying. Who would have thought red beans can be in a dessert?!?! It's a must try for sure! We'll definitely be back to Shake Your Boba -- simply decorated yet very clean. What makes it even more special is that it's Filipino-owned. Remember the older gentleman who greeted us? He turned out to be the father/father-in-law of the owners. Such a genuinely kind man -- we had a nice chat with him while waiting for our drinks.

This place is...interesting, in a good way. When I was told I was going out of town for a work…read moreevent in West Virginia and this was the name of the place. I had no idea exactly what this place was. My colleague kept referring to it as just a Moose. And a lot of use know that means something else, more in lines with a bar. The person that invited us out to here for the event didn't give us much information about what we should expect. But I am happy I came here, because of how unique of a place this is. Most people would assume that this may be a place for ice cream and you'd be partially right. This place is a mix of things that you would not expect. First and foremost, it is a well used coffee shop. Even though there is a well known national competitor right up the road. There is a steady stream of vehicles in and out throughout the day. Inside, in the coffee portion of the space, it gives definite coffee shop vibes. Couches, armchairs, tables, books, magazines, etc. That coziness could be a big draw on a cold day. I had myself a chai tea latte from here and it was delicious. They are quick with their ordering process and making of the drink. What else is here you ask? Well, let me tell you. There is an ice cream parlor tucked away on the opposite side of the coffee shop. You can enter this through the coffee shop or from the outside entrance on the side of the building. This area, then leads you to another location on the lot. Putt-Putt. Behind the building, there is a miniature golf course built into the hillside. One that is West Virginian history themed. Another thing this place has is an indoor climbing wall. I didn't get a chance to check that out.

I ordered Kung pow chicken Xtra spicy and specifically stated that in the online form comments. I also asked for a very small amount of sauce in the comments for the mixed vegetable plate I ordered. I was taken back by the $5.69 added service fee and then the added $1.69 fee for something else but not well defined, plus taxes and a tip. The total cost for two meals deivered was $46 and change. I looked forward to good food. The order arrived an hour later than initially quoted. The Kung pow was mushy not crispy as it should be and it was not spicy as I requested. The mixed veggies has extra sauce, not a very small amount as requested. And the sauce was just basic soy sauce mixed with water. Nothing special and somewhat disappointing. I will not order from here again nor even order to pick up as it appears they make everything like an assembly line and anything outside of the assembly line normal is not acceptable. The don't follow instructions so I can't feel comfortable recommending this place nor give them more than 1 star. The Kung pow was thrown out as it was like dog food, my money was wasted sadly. I poured out 99% of the mixed vegetable sauce and ate the oil and soy sauce soaked veggies.
