My son had steak and shrimp, other had shrimp only and my husband had pork and shrimp. We all ate every bite! Delicious flavor and good size bowls. Homemade chili paste was unreal. We also got the tempura shrimp and egg rolls. All very good. Waitress and staff was very friendly and nice. Even gave my son a Thai tea to try, which by the way, was delicious. I just had one of the nicest experiences eating at Pho VN in Boynton Beach. I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the Boynton area and happened across this quaint eatery. I first walked in to see the ambiance and was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by the owner who I would eventually find out his name was Tim. He told me he was from Bangkok Thailand. After my daughter ordered Chicken Pad Thai and I ordered noodles with beef, shrimp and egg roll. It was excellent. The noodles came with a side of sweet sauce that made everything very flavorful. He told us he specialized in Vietnamese, Thai food and sushi. We saw boba on the menu and had an excellent passion fruit drink with jelly and bursting boba. Tim was very friendly and conversational, something you just don't see often anymore from owners.He explained why his boba was so special and it was. You will have to go in and ask him for yourself. We had an excellent experience at Pho VN. I would suggest it to anyone wanting a smaller, more intimate Asian restaurant experience. read more

While I was waiting for my food they had nice music playing and I only had to wait for less than 10 minutes for my food! Stopped by on a Saturday night to grab some food to go. The place has a nice cozy feel to it. It's small, clean, and has friendly staff including the owner. We ordered Pho Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai,Stir fried beef with vermicelli rice noodle, egg rolls, chicken wings, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The Pho Chicken came with their own special sauce that you mix in with the soup which makes their Pho different from other Pho restaurants. The chicken Pad Thai has a nice flavor to it and it was not Hot; you could ask for it to be Hot if you choose to. The stir fried beef with vermicelli noodles was good and is comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants. Chicken wings were crunchy on the outside and was not greasy. Egg rolls were good and not greasy as well. The Thai iced coffee tasted pretty good as well. Overall this place offers great tasting food, and a friendly service in a small cozy place. Sorry that i do not remember my servers name, but she was extremely kind, patient, knowledgable and helpful. She helped to guide us through the menu and every suggestion was perfect. We are new to Boynton and this was our first time having one of our favorite dishes. My wife and I both ordered this combination Vermicelli bowl and did not regret it! What a portion! We also started our meal with fresh spring rolls, just the right amount of fillings, and their homemade peanut sauce... delicious. Beautiful family atmosphere with great customer service. Amazing food! We started off with an order of spring rolls. They were served with this peanut sauce that was absolutely perfect. It was a good starter to share. Together we ordered pad rice noodles with shrimp and squid, spicy beef pho, red curry with some white rice, and chicken vermicelli. Everything came out looking great, a perfect picture to share. The pho was definitely spicy so make sure you have the taste for it. The red curry was perfect and while it is an appetizer, worked as a meal with white rice. I didnt try the pad rice noodles but it looked great. The chicken vermicelli was amazing especially the broth. Make sure to mix it together because there is some flavor only at the bottom of the bowl. The service was really great and we were treated very well. Pho VN has easily become one of my favorite restaurants for consistently delicious food, great portions and just best deal in food. I've tried several dishes but the #24, Vermicelli Rice Noodle served with Char Grilled Pork and Egg Roll is delicious. The dish comes with lettuce, cucumber and bean sprouts. The key elements are the freshness of the ingredients, the hot sauce and a splash of plum sauce. For as many times as I've ordered, I dive in before taking a photo. Next time, promise! Other favorites: Pho with Chicken Slices, Pho Special and Pad Thai. I have yet to enter this place given the current times but I can tell you that every single time I've ordered delivery from this place, the food has been consistently delicious. Pho is actually one of the few dishes I can eat when I'm not feeling so well(digestive issues) and because it's made with quality ingredients, it helps everytime. I have ordered other items that were equally delicious but the pho is what keeps me coming back. If you're worried about how this would travel, there is great care taken into making sure that the noodles and soup are packed separate so there is still a nice bite to those noodles by the time you're to eat. Ordered take out - have been craving their tom yum & that's what I got! I got it a 3 star in spice (which I've had before) but whooo now I know why they ask if I am sure that's what I want So good though. Pho vn always provides comfort in some way. Pho lovers should stay away from this location. Stopped by for lunch since I am in the area. It has decent reviews, so I thought. The menu was not in vietnamese, but it was all in English. The waitress did not understand pho tai bo vien (rare steak with meatballs), so I had to call out the number on the menu. That should have been a red flag to order something else, like a rice plate. But I stick with my decision, that I soon regretted. The plate of beansprouts and basil arrived, no culantro. The bowl of pho arrived soon after. I had to ask for the small dipping plate along with extra napkins. I first tasted the broth, and it was a let down. The broth has a subtle sourness to it. The broth is missing the richness from bone marrows and key spices like cinnamon. It was like I was tasting a half cooked broth and the other half is from pre-made Pho seasonings. The noodles were overcooked and all broken up. The meatballs were cut to thin slices?? That Is the first time I experienced that. The rare steak was nothing of spectacular. I usually don't add any hoisin sauce or siracha to my bowl of pho if it is already rich in flavours. I only use it as dipping sauce. But I had to compensate and made my bowl extra spicy, but even then I cannot finish it. The 2 stars is for a quick and good customer service. Now maybe their other dishes are good, but if you have "pho" in your restaurant name, I expect it to be at least decent. This was not even close. Feels like your typical Americanized Vietnamese restaurant. The menu is catered for people that are not familiar with Bun or Pho as those words do not appear on the menu. Instead you have "noodle soup bowl" or something like that. That aside, the food was tasty and the service friendly. I had the combination pho. I needed lunch, I was in the mood for healthy, I didn't want any meat to be involved, so what comes to mind?.......PHO (pronounced 'fuh' not 'fo'!). My order was very simple, I didn't get anything else but a bowl of Pho. Simple order but a meal of complex flavor. Step 1: Receive your plate of bean sprouts, green peppers, cilantro, basil and lime. Step 2: Receive (veggie) Pho, which was an assortment of healthy vegetables, spices, oils, soy sauce, salt, and rice noodles in a deep flavored broth. Step 3: Add step 1 into step 2 Step 4: Add Sriracha and Hosin sauces After all these steps, what I experienced was a full bodied, flavorful, Vietnamese delight. Hands down the BEST pad thai we have eaten! The flavors are all there and it's not greasy. The price also is pretty unbeatable. Some places will charge $14-18 for pad thai and it wouldn't be as nearly as great in quality as their pad thai in Pho VN. I will be back and going to try out the curries for sure. read more

So glad I found this new Vietnamese place to eat! It's a nice little restaurant with a few extra tables outside when it gets busy which it did on a Monday night when we were there. What really stuck out for me was the sliced beef salad which is raw but comes in a big portion. The other appetizers were excellent as well. The server asked us if we were gonna be able to finish everything after we ordered the appetizers plus the meals. I was actually surprised how big the portion sizes were. Literally the worse attemp at Vietnamese food I have ever eaten in my entire life. Service was beyond lousy! The older waitress was miserable! The younger one with the bob hair cut was so stuck up! My husband asked to borrow a pair of scissors to cut the pho noodles for our toddler can she came flying back to our table and stuck it into our bowel with no warning and started cutting (her excuse was they only have one pair of scissor so she must do it). My grilled pork was unable to be cut with the knife she provided and when you went to chew it tasted like bubblegum! My Vietnamese ice coffee was lukewarm, oh and the egg quiche in my dish was dry and stale, I literally spit it back out. Now I have a bellyache! Ugh!!
