I love hotpot. I could eat it every day for the rest of my life and never get bored. By far, K&L 98 is my favorite hotpot restaurant in Palm Beach County. The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When I bring friends that are new to the concept, staff are eager to explain the bar, the revolving ingredients, and the different types of broth. Water glasses are never empty (which is a good thing since I tend towards a mix of spicy & tomato broths). The food is always fresh, and the bar/tables are always clean. The space is extremely inviting because of the lighting, the large floor to ceiling windows and the furniture. And the meets, veggies, seafood, and sauces are always fully stocked - I have never had to request staff to refill an ingredient. I love the variety they offer, and will continue to make this my go-to hotpot spot for the foreseeable future! read more

Come hungry! The selection here is great, with plenty of beef, chicken, and seafood options. I also really enjoyed the variety of vegetables, especially the different types of mushrooms and other fresh Asian specialty veggies available. I went several rounds trying to sample as many combinations as possible, but I was full before I could even begin to scratch the surface. In addition to what you pick yourself, there's also food that comes around on the conveyor belt that you can grab, which adds to the fun of the experience. The make-your-own sauce bar has lots of different ingredients, so you can customize your flavors however you like. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on our table regularly. We were visiting from out of town, and our friends, who are locals, kept raving about this place. After visiting, I can now see why! K & L 98 HotPot gave us one of the most memorable meals during our week-long trip to Florida. This place is in a strip mall, so I wasn't expecting much, but honestly, we felt transported the minute we walked inside. The price-to-food and quality ratio was incredible. I had not done a proper hot pot dinner in many years, and this place reminded me why I loved it so much when I did it, friends, years ago. I was impressed with the quality of the toppings -- all the veggies, seafood, and sauce you could think of, and everything seemed really fresh. The all-you-can-eat concept works well here, unlike other buffets that cheapen the experience because they use low-quality ingredients. Lastly, I love that they let you sample the broth bases before deciding on one! I am so glad they do that because I thought I would order one thing, but after trying them all, I changed my mind. The only constructive criticism for the staff is to do some maintenance on the actual stoves/hot pots (is that what you call them?). We loved our hotpot date night! The server came over and explained the entire process and took our drink order. She made sure we always had water and helped us choose the right sauce. I picked the hot girl spicy sauce, which was delicious. In terms of what to cook in the hot pot, the lamb and beef were probably my favorite meats. The udon noodles cooked so well with the broth. We love coming here from time to time to get hot pot. A lot of the meats I don't necessarily eat so sometimes I feel like I just bought soup. However it's cool to add items of your choosing to cook in front of you. You pick which flavor broth you would like to start. ThYou go up and grab different things from noodles, crawfish to wontons. Such a cool experience! Have seen this place for many years but decided it was a place to try without kids. So it took a while to get here, was definitely worth the wait! We came for lunch, we were greeted upon arrival and the hostess explained everything to us. We chose our broth and went and picked out what we wanted to have. So many options! My favorite were the dumplings and the shaved beef. The conveyor belt with the different options of add-ins was great- ramen, noodles, broccoli, radish, sprouts, cauliflower, corn, spinach- so many choices. The broth is warmed and you "cook" at a station right in front of you. The dessert bar was delightful- great options there as well. It is all you can eat, so come hungry!! What a great spot, came in town to visit my folks and this is the second time we went. The seafood and veggie options are really fresh. K&L sets a standard other hotpots should live up to. One thing I noticed while we were dining there was that a lot of families came in, and the staff and owners all greeted them and their children by first name, clearly they have a fan base that keeps coming back. We walked in without a reservation at 6 PM on a Saturday evening, which understandably meant a longer wait. It took about 20 minutes to be seated, another 20 minutes before our server was able to take our order, and around 25 minutes for the food to arrive. That said, I'm optimistic for a few reasons: The restaurant just opened, so it's natural that it may take some time to get everything running smoothly. The food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced. The space was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Who ever thought that cooking my own dinner would be so much fun! We had a choice of sitting at a table or sitting at a bar with a revolving carousel of dishes one could take. We chose a table and the hostess brought several types of broth for us to sample. We both chose the delicious bone broth and then proceeded to the counter to pick our add-ins.
