I been here many times, and I am torn about how much to rate them. I want to give them a 3.5 stars out of 5. The food is great, it's always on point, but the staff heavily weighs it down. Many times, my glass of water would be empty and I still have to flag down a server after waiting over 10-15mins. They usually mess up on my pho too, I always order mine with no onions, cilantro, or green onions (the garnish), you can tell they put it in then have to fish it out. We did takeout, as we're pretty busy people. Calling them early in the morning can be a bit of a challenge, the 3rd call we were greeted and happily ordered. Got there in the time they provided and was greeted warmly, with no waiting - the restaurant felt a bit off, probably because I was expecting some music (keep in mind it's a new establishment, opened for a week or two only from this posting). We ordered Pho, a sandwich (viet style) and some bubbletea. Pho was excellent. Rare meats were extremely good, and the cooked meats were very tender. The pho soup liquid was not as seasoned as I have had it (hmong and thai version) but it was tasty ;) The sandwich was good too. Only problem I had with the sandwich was that they foil wrapped it, thus kepted the bread moist. Other than that, it was very good. The bubbletea is something people are starting to experience, it's good! had the mango bubble tea and kiwi bubble tea. you may want to avoid the kiwi bubble tea if you do don't like kiwi seeds. If you're unsure what Pho is, it's a Vietnamese soup dish with vermicelli noodles (rice noodles) and the restaurant specializes in many versions of Pho. The differences are the meats and the flavor of the soup liquid used. Oh, and they don't just do Pho - there's many other items on the menu. Good place. Good area. They just need to uplift the inner restaurant environment with music or TVs or something. More when we have time to visit it again. Price is $$, the pho is (IMO) above par to Thai Cafe in Sheboygan, it costs more at Pho VN, but it's worth it. read more

Always liked this place but later on heard bad reviews, but still went. But service was pretty bad. Boss lady seems like she always have a attitude. Both times went there separately order Thai ice tea & drinks usually always comes first but never got it so the first time when I went paid and said o didn't get my Thai ice tea so I'm not paying for the boss lady had to ask the busboy if there was one on the table to make sure I wasn't lying and then asked if I want it to go, I'm like no thank you, maybe if it was free since I didn't get it before. The second time it happened again it's was like over a year or two. Warm, traditional Vietnamese food. They have everything from Vietnamese soup (pho), noodle dishes (bun-mi), rice dishes (com), to Thai drinks like Thai Tea and even bubble teas. The atmosphere is decidedly lacking, but good service and delicious food. The pho is great on a cold day! The raw dishes are cooked by being in the hot soup, so don't worry so much about that. They also have some speciality dishes like prawns and Korean ribs. Good lunch is the Vietnamese sandwich (bahn-mi) which comes as tofu, pork, or beef. read more

Everything on the menu is spot-on - Fresh ingredients, prepared perfectly. I've had Pho (traditional, Vietnamese noodle soup) the world over, and this is the best I've had...rich broth and all the right accompaniments. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on other recent reviews, but I was really disappointed. The banh mi and pho were okay, but the spring rolls had no herbs and the lemongrass beef was covered in chili paste without any fresh chilies or much actual lemongrass. Overall it was definitely a bad meal and really overpriced at $40 for those items. I didn't expect much for service and I didn't receive much either. For example no one's waters were refilled and we were all offered only one napkin/person. Finally, the bathroom was out of service. Overall, an unfortunate visit. read more

This place has great pho, many different types such as with tripe, beef, chicken, and seafood. The normal size is big and the large for $1 more is huge. I have eaten here 3-4 times and only tried the pho, but the other dishes I have seen at other tables look good also. They will even give you an extra bowl so you can pour some pho into it an experiment with different sauces and spices on the table meant for you to customize the pho to your taste read more

We have been to Pho VN in the past when the food was fresh and good. We tried it again last week and the restaurant was pretty dirty. I picked up the salt shaker and found it encrusted with old food. My meal was to have fresh broccoli in it, but when it came it only had what looked like shreds of old or frozen broccoli. I was disappointed at how the place had gone downhill. I went there on a quiet weekday afternoon. They had only a couple tables filled and the place was otherwise quiet. The server came and seated me immediately and took my order. He was very attentive. I asked for a drink recommendation and he told me about the Thai Ice Tea, which I ordered as well as the Banh Mi. The Banh Mi was spectacular -- one of the best I've ever had! Usually the meat of a Banh Mi is hit or miss for me but this one's pork was seasoned perfectly and had good texture. The sandwich was huge. Even with my appetite, I could not quite finish it all. The Thai Iced Tea was certainly stranger than normal iced tea but was very good! I took an order of Pho home and that was packaged nicely for me, with all ingredients separate. That was also very tasty and fed 2-3 people easily. All that for just under $20 is a great value. Would highly recommend this place. read more

So pleased to find this tidy, family-run gem in Sheboygan! It provides good quality Vietnamese food comparable to that found in bigger cities. Fresh rice-paper wrapped spring rolls were excellent (three to an order), as was the pho and lemon-grass beef and shrimp stir-fry. Everything was very fresh and full-flavored, though the stir-fry was a bit oily. Atmosphere is spartan and diner-like, but clean and spacious with a couple of flat screen TVs. Service was extremely warm and friendly; our waiter (owner?) made helpful suggestions and checked back often to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Another staffer offered to pack up some tea for us for the car ride home. A great addition to the restaurant scene in the area, which is woefully devoid of quality, authentic Asian food options. read more

Love this place. This is my go-to if I am in the mood for something fresh, fast and different than anything I can make at home. I have tried a number of items on the menu and all have been fantastic. I especially like the Papaya Shrimp salad, Lemon Chicken and the Banh Mi. The ingredients are always very fresh as well. I really liked the Banh Mi sandwich here, its gigantic and has a ton of flavor. I ordered it to go and was given a glass of Ice Water while I waited (Which was nice). Based on the name I expected a phenomenal pho dish and was actually a little disappointed. I ate at this restaurant three times and the only things I really loved were the Bah Mien sandwich and the bubble tea.
