Went during the week and it wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxed experience. The hookah was priced fairly--not amazing, but not overpriced either--and smoked well overall. The Place is not like the pictures there's no food so that really sucks those me be old photo's, but there's no food they tell you to grubhub food there. The tables are old and shaky the furniture really could use an update. The music was a vibe though - Hip-Hop/R&B/Rap - GREAT SONG SELCETION! The drinks were just not cutting it, I order a mojito they didn't have any flavor to offer so I had to get a classic mojito, it wasn't good so I just had a couple shots. Got here a little early with my sister, around 9 pm on a Friday night. We got in with no wait and were seated at the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and one of the barstaff constantly changed out our charcoal for the hookah which I thought was reasonably priced compared to some of the prices in bigger cities. Drinks were filled with ice to the brim and hookah was too expensive. $20 cover charge for men no matter the night, and there are so few tables. If it's a hookah bar, you need places to sit where people can actually smoke. I went there on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, and we could barely get either of the bartenders' attention even though we were sitting at the bar. Would definitely not recommend unless you want to spend the $100 to get 2 watered down drinks and overpriced hookah where you can't even read the flavor menu. read more

Good vibes. Great music and ambiance. A bit smaller than I would have imagined. The drinks are overpriced and underserved. Tons of ice. Went there with my husband and we ended up spending $120 for less than two hours. They have a cover charge and no food. We bought 5 cocktails at $13 a piece and a hookah. The hookah was very nice. Great spot in the city with authentic Khalil Mamoon hookahs. The bar has an excellent mixologist and the delicious grilled platters are kept warm at your table with a very presentable grill setup. The mixed grill came with plenty of sides to easily feed 2 hungry adults! read more

Shisha is Al Fahker and is smooth smoking at this lounge. Hookah pipes and hoses are marked accordingly to match hookah flavors. Food is delicious. We had the Mixed Grill, kibbe balls, falafels, lebanese meatballs, and drinks. Everything is delicious and on par with what my lebanese friends used to prepare. Staff is courteous and fast. The lounge is clean with comfortable chairs and nice decoration. Prices are readonable and portions are nice. This was a great pick for date night! Wow brand new spot in the city with a nice classical, clean and elegant design inside. The workers were all extremely nice and pleasant and kept coming back with drinks and asking how everything is. I hope it's not just because it's new and that they keep things how they are because they were really good. Fairly priced hookah that actually tastes amazing and burns for a really long time. Hello out there in Yelp land! Today I'm doing a review on the Phoenician Hookah Bar...so here goes! The location: The one big minus about this place is the location, as it is in a rough area, but one that is up and coming so evidenced by the construction in the immediate area. There is also limited street parking nearby, but there is a parking lot within a couple minutes' walk from there that will cost you $10 (Note: it is cash only!) The prospect: Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by the staff and immediately seated on some very comfy chairs. We ordered our meals, drinks and hookah selection after a few moments of taking in the atmosphere, which appeared to be very modern. There are a lot of little tables but the place has enough room so it does not appear crowded with furniture. The products (Food, drink and hookah): The food was top notch, let me say that up front...I was very impressed with the quality, quantity and presentation of the food that we ordered. It was very nicely done which made for a great experience. The drinks we ordered, both specialty drinks, were expertly prepared and tasted as good as they looked...I was equally impressed by the appearance and taste of the drinks we ordered. Though the food and drink were excellent, we really came for the hookah and once again we were not disappointed...the hookah came out quickly and it smoked very well and it was very smooth. Coal service was regular and it lasted for quite some time before the flavor finally left (it was over 2 hours). One minor ding though...their tobacco selection is limited to Al-Fahker and Starbuzz, both weaker tobaccos. It would be nice if they had a selection of stronger tobaccos like Nakhla, Trifecta or Tangiers for those of us who prefer a stronger smoke. The value: For our meals, drinks and hookah, we spent about $100 not including tip...everything was wonderful and I considered it well worth the money, considering the quality of everything that we had along with the top notch service. Overall, I would heartily recommend Phoenician Hookah Bar to anyone who likes the cuisine of the Middle East along with some good (albeit weak) hookah. We will definitely be back! read more

3 stars only because the hookah is decent and the female workers are nice. There's no reason you should have to spend a minimum of 150 at this place and that's IF you get in. Apparently you need a reservation or you can't get in if the bar is full. EVEN THOUGH the rest of the place is dead. This place has potential but they're greedy. I hope they do better. read more

Called Friday for a Saturday night reservation for 4. Called Saturday night to tell them we were almost there and they said we needed to pay an 100 dollar deposit for the reservation and argued with my boyfriend about it. And said it was our fault. Continued to argue with us about our reservation that I overheard, on speaker phone. And continued to tell us we were wrong and we needed to pay. Not coming back here regardless of how ridiculous this disagreement was. By the way we called back to say we would make the deposit and he said they were fully booked. read more
