Beautiful coffee shop - total vibe - highly recommended for anyone that is looking to mix up their work space, meeting space, or just in need of a pick me up in the form of caffeine. I was in town for a quick work trip and turned to Yelp to find a coffee shop close by. I knew I would need to get some work done and after seeing the photos and reviews from a few other Yelp Elites, I was sold on Phoenix Coffee. It's connected to the lobby of what I believe is an apartment building. There also seemed to be a coworking business connected to it because I noticed rooms that appeared to be available to book for meetings. Very cool mix of space. The decor is vibrant as can be with a mid century modern touch. Whoever decorated, bravo, job well done. The staff was super friendly and they had some great items on the menu. I went with a seasonal oat milk latte (can't remember the details) and a rosemary bagel with a housemade cream cheese spread that included chives and pickled red onions. Both were great. I have a feeling they will do really well here!

I decided to go with a hot latte with lavender and vanilla, as well as a rosemary bagel.

But when I walked through the door, it instantly felt welcoming and like a place I'd be a regular at if I lived in the neighborhood. The customer service was wonderful. Everyone behind the counter was friendly, and I just loved the atmosphere. I ordered a hot chai latte, and since I don't like cinnamon on top, I asked if they could hold it if they normally dust it--they were more than happy to accommodate! I also got a raspberry danish, and both were delicious. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

The menu is full of unique drink options, lots of flavors and combinations to choose from. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. And the space itself was great, plenty of comfortable seating to choose from and free WiFi to get some work done. I got a peanut butter and latte jelly, the barista convinced me to give it a try. I'm so glad she did, because it was delicious. It tasted like an actual PB&J sandwich, but still had a coffee-forward overall flavor; very hard to put into words, but definitely a winner. They use real peanut butter as part of the latte, along with two shots of espresso that had me bouncing off the walls later. If you're looking for a neighborhood coffee shop vibe and unique drinks, definitely come here!

I had never had Yemeni coffee before so I asked the barista for suggestions. Based on the fact that I wanted to also try one of their beautiful milk cakes (like a tres leches), I opted for the Mufawar coffee since he said it was less sweet and a bestseller. It was served on an adorable bamboo tray, piping hot and very strong! It had a unique flavor and paired well with my saffron milk cake. Yes...I said saffron. I was very hesitant to try this after he described saffron to me, so I actually got both saffron and biscoff milk cakes. Wow, this man knew his stuff! The saffron milk cake was absolutely scrumptious!!! And who doesn't love a biscoff cookie?! I had to take that one to go. I hope to return to Cleveland soon so I can try the pistachio latte (a sweeter coffee) and possibly a different flavor of milk cake. The coffee shop was quite large, bright, and tastefully decorated with lots of gold accents. I loved my experience there!

They also carry a variety of cheesecakes which were all very good. Most of all, they open late until 10pm, I tend to visit after 8pm and that is a blessing. Bravo!

I tried both the Promised Land Latte (cinnamon and honey) and the seasonal special Cowboy Cold Brew (cold brew with milk and sarsaparilla syrup). The Promised Land Latte was good, not too sweet, a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall good flavor. The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. It was also such a treat when I turned the cup around and saw the "yeehaw" written on it :-) I also tried the everything bagel with honey brie walnut cream cheese, and whoever is supplying Cleveland with these specialty cream cheeses knows what they're doing! I enjoyed the honey brie walnut cream cheese so much that I made a third trip to this location, just to get a side of it to put it on extra pita I had laying around. What also makes this location special is the location! I enjoyed my latte inside the Arcade, and the beautiful architecture and interior design were so incredible. It was a wonderful break in the day. Great, efficient service, delicious drinks, good vibes all around!

I typically go to the Rising Star in the Colonial Arcade, proximity to work and all, but the weekends lead to Ohio City where the sunlight poors in, the baristas are busy taking orders, making spectacular concoctions and working the ever growing line. I'm partial to a chai, whole milk extra hot with cardamom to punch it up, it's perfect every time. I love that the green and go fridge is always stocked and that they have local bagels and Jeff's Candy! Parking is a premium so be ready to walk the neighborhood on a busy weekend.
