Came here 3 days in a row since I was in the area for work. I tried the strawberry matcha latte, sunrise smoothie, and tiramisu latte. Their matcha is made correctly with sifting the matcha and using a whisk! Definitely bonus points for that. Their tiramisu latte and strawberry matcha were specials, so those can't be ordered online. There was an issue with their POS my first time in and they actually gave me my drink free of charge, which was a nice surprise as I was planning on waiting until their system was up and running to pay. Service was very poor. Waited in line for 15 minutes with only two people in front of us. Ordered sausage burrito and came out after 20 minutes, but still before my dad's which all he got was a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Staff are friendly but not organized. I was expecting a bit more based off the majority of other reviews but honestly it was all very...dull. There was no service with a smile, more like service with a stare into space to tell you on Saturdays (of all days) the only food they serve are their breakfast sandwiches. Which is ok, but a heads up online or in the actual cafe would be nice before going through the whole menu and expecting to be able to eat something more. I thought at least the cereal latte would be good as I've had the same thing from other cafes but this one was literally just cereal and milk, no other flavor. If I visit the city again I'll be trying a different cafe. read more

I want to visit every coffee shop in "Cleveland" that I can and this one has been on my list for a while. I will say it is a small place. I was disappointed to see the pastry section it looked more elaborate in other Yelp reviews. I got a chocolate muffin the cashier offered to warm it but I like my chocolate cold 4/5 not bad but not anything special. I also got a large Jamaican me crazy with cream. The coffee wasn't bad but wasn't amazing and I'm always sad when I go to coffee places and you can pour your own cream. If I happen to be in the area and wanted a coffee I would turn it down but I also won't go out my way to go there. I will say I do enjoy the price point! read more

I first found out about Milk and Honey Cafe from a Yelp event in September 2021 where Yelp Elites got a free drink of choice and a huge peanut butter toast topped with Almond pieces and drizzled with honey. Back then I got a hot Matcha drink which didn't taste great. I don't think I visited again in 2022 but I came back in 2023. DRINKS -- On 17 Jan. 2023, I walked here with some co-workers. I ordered the Dragonfruit Matcha drink (iced). Specifically, I bought a 24oz Iced Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and Dragonfruit Syrup. I hardly get cold drinks especially when the weather is cold outside but I guess I surprised myself. I recommend the dragonfruit matcha because if you like matcha or green tea then this is a good option with the addition of the dragonfruit syrup. The slight sweetness of the dragonfruit mixed with the slight bitterness of matcha is a perfect combination. FOOD -- They have breakfast and lunch options (carbs and protein such as eggs, avocado, etc). In January 2023, I ordered the prosciutto sandwich ($11) for lunch which wasn't bad but the prosciutto didn't taste as fresh and it felt a bit dry. The side of chips was nice. Overall, I will certainly be back for the matcha drink at some point this year. It's a cute little shop. I gave -1 star because the staff was not too friendly. Usually coffee shop staff is super friendly and engaging when asking questions about what's good and the menu in general. There's 2 private tables and then some "bar" type seating that faces the road. I ordered the cinny toast crunch latte- which had whole pieces of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It did get soggy quickly but I definitely think it helped with the flavor of the coffee. Iced lattes only come in one size. I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The croissant seemed fresh and it was a cheesy goodness. The egg probably could've used some pepper and salt. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again, or try the other location. I was visiting Cleveland and was recommended this coffee shop by my friends who lived in the area. I was immediately in love with the coffee shop, the vibes and the decorations were SO cute! I love the name of this cafe located in downtown Cleveland. The name will get you to the door. The decor will summon you inside and the drinks will keep you coming back. They have been open since April 2021 and are kind of hidden on Walnut Avenue between East 9th and East 12th. I had the lavender latte and I also had the Spring Bloom Latte x 2 (not on the menu get it while you can) and they both were delicious. The Spring Bloom latte is 2 shots of expresso with dragonberry syrup and foam on top plus flowers. The baked goods are supplied by a local bakery and on my second visit I had to try the lemon bars......inspite of my diet. I do not regret this decision at all. I think every calorie was worth it. 5 stars for a wonderful little soft opening! Can't wait for a second trip when they are fully open! Although this space is only in its soft opening phase (grand opening in the coming weeks!) this place serves up some serious good, trendy vibes and a great cup of coffee. Right now only the drink and bakery items are available, and when I ordered a lavender latte and found out that that is the one syrup they dont carry yet, the owner was quick to helping me discover a honey cinnamon latte... which was SO GOOD. They use Erie Island Coffee for the coffee and Inca Tea for their tea, which are both wonderfully locally owned. Once they fully open, they will be serving incredible looking salads and sandwiches, as well as customizable lukumades which are basically fried donut balls! I cant wait to try these asap! All these food options will make this a great place for college students at CSUs campus as well as the business men who work on walnut to have great options near them. The future looks bright for milk and honey, and I cant wait to see how they immerse themselves in the CLE culture! My husband and I visited Cleveland for a few days to see a show. We were put walking around one of the mornings desperately looking for a coffee and some food and came across this place. It is in a nice convenient area right in downtown. It's a small place, so when it gets busy it fills up and gets crowded. We came right before a rush and were able to avoid the long line. I ordered the iced pumpkin pie latte with otamilk. Tis the pumpkin spice season, so figured I would give it a try. I also got a chicken salad sandwich that came with a side salad. My husband got a black drip coffee, he doesn't like milk or sugar at all, but the batista did tell him that the coffee blend had a nutty vanilla flavor. He also got a bagel sausage egg sandwich. Our drinks and food came quickly and we sat at a cute table with upholstered chairs. There's not tons of seating, but if you getvtherr before a rush, you should be able to sit in there, they have a few lounge chairs and some tables and a bar to sit at the window I think. My drink was delicious. It came with an adorable little pumpkin iced cookie on top. It also had a nice dusting of cinnamon on top of the coffee, very nice presentation. The flavor of the coffee itself was amazing. It was so tasty without being like gross and thick and cloying sweet like a Starbucks drink. My husband is a coffee snob and said he loved his plain black coffee. The food was good too. The chicken salad sandwich was on a croissant. It had turmeric in the mix, so it was very flavorful and unique, I very much enjoyed it. And my side salad was also good, it came with a balsamic type dressing, very nice. I felt healthy afterwards. My husband liked his breakfast sandwich too, it looked very yummy.
