Tanzie be getting me in trouble with comics!
    Michelangelo S.

Local Comic Books Genius Revealed! SITREP Wonderful local store features the comic book talents of local Seattlelites! THE SETUP My friend Tanzie and I were tooling around Broadway, and Phoenix Comics and Games (Phoenix) loomed up on our left. I said, "Comics! We gotta check it out!" Except, Tanzie was actually MORE excited to get into the store! There were some classic comic books from both DC and Marvel realms as well as an abundane of cult classics, for example, but what impressed us most were the local artists - both literary and visual - whose offerings had their own section highlighted. * I found the cute "A Day In the Life of My Cats" * Tanzie who hooked onto the snarky cards "Book 1: A Little Bit of Everything" The whole section was fun to peruse. THE LOWDOWN Phoenix is a great store for some comicfun!

Tucked away in Pike Place Market, the store is packed from floor to ceiling with comics, graphic novels, action figures, collectibles, and all kinds of memorabilia. I found myself spending much more time there than I expected just looking through everything. What I liked most was the variety. The shop has a great mix of new releases, classic comics, and collectibles, toys, movie scripts, and manga that make it easy to lose track of time while exploring. Even if you don't end up buying anything, it's worth walking through just to take it all in. For anyone visiting Pike Place Market with even a passing interest in comics or collectibles, Golden Age Collectables is a stop I'd happily recommend!!!

They have so much more than just comic books. They have lots of board games. There's a huge collection of posters and figurines. The comic books are separated in sections by genre. There are also many types of playing cards, pins and collectibles as well. One of the unique items at this store was they had the scripts of many popular movies and TV shoes. I saw the script of pilot episode of GOT, TBBT, Friends and among movies there was Batman, Harry Porter, LOTR, Hunger Games, Twin Peaks and hundreds of more of them. I found a Marvel poster that I liked a lot. It was reasonably priced for $15. Checkout process was quick with assistance from very friendly staff. If you are comic fan, this is an absolutely must visit place for anyone visiting the Pike Place market.

Studio Ghibli merch area right upon entering the shop, of course, of course. Decent selection of pens (I got a couple). The second level is dedicated to English-translated manga books as well as anime/video game art books and knick-knacks (sorta all in random assortment.....gotta do some thorough browsing). Since it is a small shop, the aisles are a little cramped. Kinda stuffy too, especially on the second level. Polite staff!

At the time of purchase, I specifically asked about the return policy and was told that returning books would be "no problem" as long as they remained unopened in their original plastic wrapping. When I later returned to exchange or return three of the books 10 days later, I was told that I could not do so because I did not have my receipt. This requirement was never mentioned when I asked about returns. As a longtime member, my purchase is documented through my membership account, so it is disappointing that this record could not be used to verify the transaction. I find this level of customer service unacceptable. If a receipt is required for returns, customers should be clearly informed of that at the time of purchase, especially when they specifically ask about the return policy.

I feel that because of your actions in this matter you gave back to me, and allowed me to receive the respect that I deserve. I never would've thought that an employee who has been with a Company for over 30 years would lie to a customer, let alone especially everything I've had to go through to get to this point in my life. Oh my, did I find a deodorant that I simply fell in love with at Nordstroms!…read more I have been dabbling in different colognes and deodorants... brands I would not normally purchase and I got a brand of deodorant I simply fell in love with that I got here. Terre D'Hermes is the name of the brand of the deodorant I purchased. It's a bit more expensive than what I am used to paying but this made all the more fun and enjoyable trying out something new. The deodorant rolls on so amazingly soft. It is just so silky while applying it. And the fragrance is nice and musky. If a guy just wants a hint of cologne and nothing too strong then just applying this would be all that you would need. Of course this product comes from France... still holding down as being the perfume capital of the world it's no wonder why this deodorant is so amazing.
