Came here on a rainy Sunday to see what it was all about. You can submit to PSA through them! My main niche interest is in pokemon but they do have sports cards and other tcg cards. As I browsed inside someone was willing to answer a bunch of my beginner questions on grading, how I might go about the process and such and also gave me room to browse around when I thanked them for the info and said I wanted to just look around. The shop is pretty popular, there were about at least 7 people in there with me at all times. I bought a graded 1st gen pokemon card and did so without really price checking because I needed a slab of some sort for my own purposes. When I went home later and checked the prices on it, it was market price which was a pleasant feeling to know I didn't get ripped. Definitely would come back here to make purchases regarding tcg and to do any PSA submissions. read more

The don't have many single cards displayed. Some of them are nice, but not that many interesting ones. The service can be slow when there's multiple customers. Probably the worst card shop experience I've ever had. They claim to offer fair value but won't buy from you if your collection actually has value. The "Pokémon" guy with glasses also tried to show me how to look up prices on TCGplayer but didn't even know anything about older pokemon sets. The places run by a number of really nice dudes, who both run a good business, and also work to help customers find stuff that brings back that childhood thrill! The selection is solid in fact, better than most places that you'll find in the area, and the prices are very fair. there are a few things more frustrating than going into a card shop, knowing what someone paid for them online, or what they are available for online from another shop, and finding them 30% more expensive at your shop. These guys do a good job of keeping things priced fairly. They've got a good selection of individual cards as well, both high-end and more affordable. They're also big enthusiast of young collectors. Each time my kids have gone in here, they have talked baseball cards with them, and been very gracious. They've got a leave one/take one wall. I came here with my boyfriend as he has recently started to get into collecting the One Piece trading card game. Their website advertised that they sold One Piece cards which we appreciated as other local card shops don't advertise if they do or not. He wanted to check in to see if they had gotten the recently released item. As we entered, both employees were helping two different families. Both families had a child and the employees were doing a great job not only providing superb customer service by answering all questions with professionalism and patience whenever customers were talking. It is always reassuring to see card shop employees speaking with younger customers with the same maturity and quality of speaking with their adult customers as kids are a huge majority of their sales. Their organization is very nice and I love how they had little standees that said new to indicate any new packs that were available. They had a great variety of cards all over the store. My personal favorite piece of the store is the corner where kids 17 and under can leave a card then take card. I wished more stores did this as I think this is a great way to do indirect trading or to find a new card to add to your collection. read more

Came in the other day at the recommendation of a friend. Selection is decent for the average collector. There is a good Pokemon collection for the TCG fans. There are very few high-end cards, but those don't sell a lot anyway in a local card store. I'm general, the whole staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend that when someone comes in spending a few thousand dollars, you don't have the employees treat them almost as if they are annoying or that the customer is nickel or diming because they asked for a break in pricing if they paid cash. I still paid because I wanted the cards. I left the store feeling a little irked. This is the to the tall scrawny kid with the hat and hoodie 5 times his size. I'm not a huge card guy, but my son has really gotten into Pokémon cards and has amassed quite a collection over the past few years. Instead of buying them from a big box store I wanted to support a local small business and Collector's Corner NW is the perfect place to do this. You get very personal service and prices that rival the large stores, plus a huge wealth of knowledge you can only get with a smaller store. I've been many times and they're always extremely friendly and informative. Last time my son and I visited we met with Brian who took the time to educate my 10-year-old (and me, too) on buying and selling Pokémon cards. He told us which one's were valuable and not valuable, and educated my son on the best cards to trade, sell and keep. This personal experience is also something you won't get online or in marketplaces such as eBay. They have a great selection of new and used cards, free and close parking, and are located right behind a huge park so you could easily make a nice afternoon out of a visit to Collector's Corner :) read more

They carry a wide range of products (perfect for someone like me that collects old & new, baseball & Pokémon) and everyone I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable. And most importantly - friendly and patient! I am someone who takes a lot of time looking at cards and deliberately thinks about what I want to add to my collection. Awesome new shop located in downtown bellevue, right down the block from my work at Microsoft. This card shop had an old school vibe reminiscent to the past local card shops I used to frequent back in the 80s and 90s, in my hometown state of Jersey. My former experiences with card shops like this have always been more negative than positive due to the people behind the counter always coming off a bit pretentious and condescending. Atypical experiences have been where if you ask a question or are not knowledgeable in any aspect of sports card culture or memorabilia they regard you with contempt. That was the exact opposite of what I experienced here. The owner was extremely knowledgable and welcoming. What was meant to be a quick pit stop for my friend and I, resulted in a 1+ hr conversation with the owner. Believe me, we asked a lot of very rookie questions, but he took his time and really engaged in the conversation. We learned a ton and can't wait to get back into the hobby. We picked up a couple of boxes, and got some really good hits. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended to anyone interested in the hobby! read more

They say they trade cards....but they don't. I brought in 2-Ken Griffey Jr. PSA 8's, a 1990 Bo Jackson PSA 9, a 1990 Frank Thomas PSA 9, and a rookie Jarvis Landry patch with autograph Beckett 9.5, and they would not trade for any of them! Even though I spent a couple hundred on cards they had for sale. They didn't offer me a cent to take off the balance. Brian is the child whisperer; he is so sincere, nice and generous, always talks to each kid at his level, and the kids listen to every word he says. I was in the store last weekend, and saw Brian give a kid free Pokémon cards in exchange for him reading 20 minutes a day. read more

I came in with some cards to be graded (Having never done anything like that in my life) and Brian was Amazing! such a big help fully explained the process and what to kind of expect as far as grading my cards might turn out. He took his time to show me side by side examples of my cards compared to some that were already graded. There was Zero pressure to make any decisions and he was happy to answer all my questions without any hesitation. The whole experience was nothing short of totally professional, respectful, patience, with complete information. They also had a large collection of new and used cards as well as sleeves and such to protect your cards. The pricing was defiantly fair (lol I dare say what I purchased was cheaper than Amazon) so there is no need to fear that you are going to be gouged at the register.
