    HOW TO RUIN A BIRTHDAY BOUQUET BY USING PHOENIX FLOWER SHOPS..... My kids and their dad have been using Phoenix Flower Shops for literally 20+ years. I've had countless deliveries of beautiful flower arrangements in the past from this shop. Sadly the customer service went out the window on the most current delivery. My birthday was on a Friday and I heard a knock at the door and to my surprise I was handed a rose bouquet arrangement in a square glass vase from PFS. I took a picture after about 2 hours to send to my kids and their dad to thank them for the flowers. My daughters reply was, "wtf is that? That is not what we ordered" .... so after having her send me a picture of what was actually ordered I made a phone call to PFS to report the mistake. I was very nice, told them the picture of the order was completely different than what was sent, not by just a little bit but even priced cheaper and less than what was paid for. So I was apologized to but they said that unfortunately they could not make another delivery that day (my birthday) to bring me the correct order. I told them that it was okay and that they could bring on Saturday but would have to be delivered at my job. They said no problem and we hung up. About an hour and a half later I get a call back from PFS saying that they could not deliver anything Saturday afterall as they don't have half of what is pictured in the correct ordered arrangement. Then the person on the phone started telling me things that they could use instead of what's pictured but was really painting a picture of it not being that great. I heard words like "not as vibrant, smaller, different color, not the same." At that point I said let's just do a refund because my family had paid almost $100 and opted for the "better" version of the arrangement they had selected. I felt like they were trying to throw something together last minute and it didn't sound like a "better" version of anything. The lady taking the call took a moment to ask her manager if a refund would be okay, refund was approved but I was told that they would be by on Saturday to pick up the mistake arrangement and if I could bring it to work with me. So the refund went back to my family's credit card and PFS paid a driver to come pick up day old flowers and I was left with nothing. Personally I think a company that makes a mistake like that says, "we are really sorry for the mistake and not being able to fulfill the order, we will do the refund but keep the flowers you have for the inconvenience." Somehow I don't feel like customer service was provided appropriately here. This company made a huge mistake and now I'm wondering if they sent the wrong bouquet on purpose not thinking I would take a picture and send it to the person who ordered it... The arrangement that was sent was $39.99 on sale. The arrangement ordered was $59.99 plus delivery fees and tax. Not only that but the arrangement that was the mistake was truly not that great and even had a bug inside one of the roses as well as wilted, dried out discolored petals... see pictures. We will opt for using Bobbies Flower Shop next time instead of Phoenix Flower Shops.

    This place has the worst driversand rude as hell.. This person full on ran a 4 way stop didn't even slow down or look up from their phone almost hitting my car and an innocent person starting to cross in the crossing. I called to file a complaint they transfered me to the so called owner no return call nothing..

    Ordered a bouquet earlier this week for a host gift for thanksgiving tomorrow. Told the lady on the phone I wanted to spend about $50 and just wanted a seasonal bouquet. Showed up picked up my flowers and left. When I got home and looked at the bouquet it was not at all what I pictured so I decided (after a lot of convincing from family, I don't like confrontation) to go back and have them fix the bouquet so that it was all the way full and had fall colors. The ladies fixed the bouquet for me, charged me $10 which was fine just to get what I wanted. Neither bouquet really looked worth what I was paying for but would probably go here again, I would just be more specific on what I want. (The first picture with the light purple flowers and roses was the first "fall" bouquet; second is when it was fixed!)

He chose an arrangement that came out to around $600 total and scheduled delivery for Sunday, Mother's Day. Saturday night, we got a text saying the flowers were out for delivery that evening. After he followed up, we were told it was sent in error. Then on Sunday, while we were at a Mother's Day brunch, he received another notification saying the flowers were out for delivery and would arrive by 12:40 PM. We rushed to finish our meal and get home in time, only to then receive another message saying the delivery couldn't be completed. My husband called, and they explained it was another "system error" and that they only had one refrigerated truck large enough for the arrangement. They told us the flowers would arrive by 4:30 PM. Finally, at 5:15 PM, the arrangement showed up warm, wilted, and dirty. It honestly looked rushed together with leftover flowers and was mostly greenery, with fewer than three dozen actual blooms. To their credit, after my husband reached out following the delivery, they did provide a $200 refund. But overall, the experience was really disappointing, especially because the one thing I wanted for Mother's Day was a large, full, beautiful flower arrangement.

Anyways, one of my lifelong, close friends -- an epitome in camaraderie and deep amity -- received very painful news today that her brother passed from Nature to Eternity earlier this morning. Instantly, her heartfelt pain was mine. Gazing pensively out of my window into the distance, I wondered how could I send her a pick-me-up as she lives on one side of The Mississippi Divide and I live on the other... Conundrums. After some Yelp surfing, I placed a call to Lighthouse Flower Shop five minutes before they were scheduled to open, spoke to Lisa, and she treated me like the most important being in the vast galaxy. Nice. Following small talk, chuckles, and giggles -- all confirmation signs, perhaps, from the Universe -- I knew I was in the right place, a precious place. Yes. Thought for a minute about the tone to a measured memo, a nice note, for the card. Then placed my order at a terrific price, and sat back and waited like a precocious plumb nine year old waiting for the magic to happen on Christmas, notwithstanding the ache and pain my friend was embracing and enduring! Life. Long story short: My dear friend loved the gesture and the floral arrangement saying, "The flowers are beautiful. My goodness. Thank you... my heart is glowing because someONE (you) wanted to show me your heart... genuinely." Awe. And the rest speaks for itself. (Insert happy faces, red hearts, and blue people hugs here. Go nuts!)

The lady (assume owner) was knowledgeable and very accommodating to my budget. I felt very comfortable with her recommendations. She provided a beautiful arrangement that was exactly what I was looking for. She even sent me a lovely photo. I am so happy I found Lighthouse! Highly recommend!
