Fantastic and so much fun. Very professional. Staff are great. This new business tries hard to deliver good service.

Our child was incredibly blessed to have incredible teachers who loved and cared for our child during that time. Each classroom was truly filled with love and patience and I do not want the rest of this review to underscore those incredible teachers in my child's classrooms. With that said, As our child approached the age of 3, they received an autism diagnosis. The JCC metro west staff was notified of this diagnosis. 2 weeks after informing the staff of our child's diagnosis, our child was exited from the ECC program with less than 24 hours' notice. Regardless of the circumstances, giving a family less than a day's notice to find alternative childcare is incredibly disruptive and, in our experience, showed a lack of compassion and partnership. As parents, we trusted this program to work with us through challenges. Instead, we were left scrambling overnight to figure out childcare, work obligations, and next steps for our child. The emotional and logistical impact on our family was significant. What disappointed us most was not simply the decision itself, but how it was handled. Families deserve clear communication, transparency, and enough notice to make arrangements--especially when young children are involved. If your child has developmental differences or may require additional support, I encourage you to have detailed conversations about the program's ability and willingness to accommodate those needs before enrolling. Our experience left us feeling unsupported during one of the most difficult periods our family has faced. I hope the JCC reviews its policies and communication practices so that no other family experiences the same abrupt transition that we did.

Staff rejected the minor's digital school ID and later approached them on the workout floor with police officers after the father asked to speak with a manager. Crunch Fitness's national guest guidelines differ from how local staff handled the incident, and corporate has historically distance itself from rogue franchise actions. Crunch Fitness Official Guest PoliciesAccording to Crunch Fitness's official FAQ and general corporate terms: Identification Rules: National guidelines state that guests using a pass must present a valid government-issued photo ID.Location Discretion: Guest entry requirements and minimum age rules are subject to variation depending on the specific franchise location. The Card Discrepancy: While local East Brunswick staff insisted they needed to physically hold the minor's physical card at the front desk for the duration of the workout, corporate policy pages contain no provision stating a club must hold a guest's physical ID. The member brought his teenage son, most teens under 18 don't have a physical ID unless its a school ID, but they knew the kid was the members son. People working in the gym lack common sense and don't even use their brains for logical communication. This was clearly a customer service issue that could have been resolved by the manager if the workers ever told the manager that a customer needed to speak with him. Running and working at a gym does not need a lot of brain power, you don't have't to be intelligent at all and it appears that it's actually correct. Go figure.

However, for the past year, the zumba program has been very disappointing. There used to be 3 evening classes, but now there's barely 2. There are no instructors for either class. There are substitutes who sometimes don't even show up, even though the schedule indicates different. On many occasions, we show up for class, and while waiting, we realize that there's no instructor. This matter is extremely upsetting, and disrespectful to us, the clients who pay exorbitant fees for this program. I have written several letters to the corporate office, but there has been no response, and things have only gotten worse. This gym needs to make a concerted effort to provide the services that we're paying for. I am seriously considering terminating my contract. I also want to add that this sentiment is also vehemently expressed by other class members.
