I want to start this review on a positive note: Andrew is a genuinely helpful person, and I appreciate the way he went above and beyond to assist me in getting my iPhone 13 Pro repaired. Here's the full story: On the evening of 07/16/25, I visited store #8892 in Temple Terrace just before closing time because I urgently needed to replace my cracked screen. Sam worked on my phone and completed the repair quickly. Initially, everything seemed fine, but shortly afterward, I began receiving various alerts, and my phone started to overheat--even though it wasn't in a case. I returned to the store on Saturday, 07/19/25, to have the issue addressed. Unfortunately, the experience with Sam was very disappointing. He was rude and dismissive, refusing to even examine the phone. When I showed him the alert saying the screen was incompatible, he tried to upsell me on a more expensive "Apple" screen for $350. I reminded him of the 30-day warranty he mentioned during the initial repair, but he claimed the issue wasn't related to the screen replacement, despite the alert clearly stating otherwise. When I asked for a refund, he curtly told me there was a no-refund policy and said, "Do what you got to do," after I mentioned leaving a review--ironic, considering he had asked for a review after the first visit. Before posting anything negative, I decided to reach out to Andrew, the store's owner/manager. He was extremely apologetic and asked me to bring the phone back so he could make things right. I finally returned on 07/26/25, and Richard helped me this time. He was fantastic--he resolved the issue, replaced my battery, and now my phone is working well again. I came into The Cellfix in a rush because my phone had broken and I needed a replacement quickly before picking my daughter up from ballet. I specifically told the employee I needed a T-Mobile compatible phone, and he sold me a device claiming it would work. I asked him to switch my SIM card over, and the phone would not activate because it was not compatible. At that point I asked for a refund, explaining that I had limited time and needed to leave. The employee refused and stated "no refunds," even though the product was sold under false information. I remained calm the entire time and simply said it seemed like they were playing games. At that moment, the employee became upset and raised his voice, loudly claiming they "have 15 locations." I replied respectfully "Alhamdulillah, I hope you get more locations but I need the refund." He then made a completely inappropriate and offensive remark, saying "the only time you black people know God is when y'all want something, that's like me saying Hallelujah." This was shocking, unprofessional, and unacceptable racial language. He then told me to swipe my card a second time for a "refund." I did so in good faith. Now, days later, the original charge is still on my credit card, meaning it was never cancelled. I was essentially charged twice with no working phone. He did offer surveillance footage and I declined at the moment, which I regret. If the business responds here publicly, I give full permission for them to release the footage so the truth is clearly shown. What should have been a simple cellphone purchase became an incident of misrepresentation, refusal to refund, racial remarks, and a fraudulent charge. Well unsurprisingly they lied to me. Andre basically begged me to change my first review for exchange for a free case that he never called me back about. Also I had to spend $1118.00 for a new phone! When I picked up my phone from the second repair were they broke the outside screen and casing I told them my phone was excessively overheating and had not done that before. The so called tech said it was bc of the broken outside screen. It overheated so bad it would no longer respond and the inside screen was not repaired correctly to were I could barely type and it would not stay connected to the wifi. I took my phone to Samsung, where I should have went to begin with. I showed them the photos I took of the broken casing and explained all my issues during my experience from hell with Cellfix. After analyzing and testing my phone they said that my phone had been DROPPED and was not damaged by changing out the inside screen. They showed me the process and no way on God's green earth did the damage happened the way they said. It went from a $376 repair, which was not done correctly, to the total outside of my phone being destroyed, to having to buy a brand new, over $1000 phone! All bc they dropped my phone, lied about it and took no accountability for it. Andre made sure he contacted me and hour after I left the shape to bribe me to change my review in trade for a case. Y'all he went on Yelp to make sure I changed it too, then texted me Thank You, and haven't seen a case yet. Uck your cheap ssa cases‼ I want my money back! I've already started a lawsuit. I don't have stacks of money to buy new phones every 6 months. My last phone I had for 5 years and decided to treat myself and Cellfix destroyed it! With all the horrible Yelp reviews they should have been closed down a long time ago. All they are good for is going there to pay a bill, and it depends who is there at the time bc half they time they act like they don't know what they're doing or their customer service and attitude are so bad you walk out. And I emailed my local news station about my story. I truly cannot believe the lies, deceitfulness, the lack of integrity. They took no real accountability for what they did. Then the stress for like a week and a half to the end results of buying a new phone and all I need was the inside screen replaced. Unfreaking believable. Where is the option for negative 5 stars? I should not be Clean up your act Cell Fix, customers deserve to not be overcharged and get the service they pay for. I went to this location to get the LCD for my Ipad replaced, in fact my ordeal started at the E Fletcher location 10/8/2020, where I initially dropped off my Ipad. Instead of getting a call to pick it up when I was told it would be ready, I was told that the LCD could not be replaced until I got a new battery at an additional $89 because "the battery was swollen". After spending $216 to get the replacement LCD I had to take a hard look at spending that much more on an IPad that is a few years old while having other expenses. I picked up my property at the N Florida location and told Alex I will be back when I had the funds for the battery. I took it back on 10/22/2020 and paid for the battery, which I was told by Alex would take about a week to get in store, then a day or so to put everything together. The next call I received was to let me know that the newly installed LCD was defective and they had to order another one, which would take about another week. He said once the new LCD came in it would only be a couple of hours for the technician to have my IPad ready. Short story the two hours turned into two days. I was finally able to pick up on 11/6/2020; if your counting it now a month into this. To be fair, Alex promised me a new case for my IPad (not that I needed one, but it is appreciated). About two days after the pick up the IPad home button started moving around and I was having problems getting into applications, etc., On 11/17/2020 while in the area (this location is about 25 mins drive from my home) I took the IPad back to Alex and showed him the issue with the home button. Before even saying he would take a look at it he immediately blamed me stating that "you pressing on it too hard, using too much pressure". Perplexed, I asked him how much pressure is too much? I also let him know that the button was not properly secured to begin with or it would not have come loose. Still insisting it's my fault he said I would "have to pay $35 for a diagnostic because it would take a lot of work to figure it out". I asked him if here was no warranty on their work, he said yes but insisted on $35 for the diagnostic and said they already did a lot of work on my IPad; which by the way at this point I had already paid $291.86 to fix. There was no need for a diagnostic because he could clearly see the home button wobbling, but that's who they get to milk customers for more money; as if I had not already paid too much for the service. I know this because I told my client/friend about my ordeal and they recommended another company for the next time I need electronics fixed. Based on Alex's response I determined I would not spend another dime with Cell Fix and would feel better spending the $35 elsewhere. I also decided that his lack of responsibility and customer service on this issue was not worth anymore of my valuable time, so I left...NEVER TO RETURN. By the way I took my IPad to the other place that was recommended to me the owner George, secured the IPad home button at no cost; all he asked for was referrals and a good review, which he will most definitely get. So the general manager reached out to me this week (5 months later) and said he "came across review on yelp" and "wanted to reach out to see how he could make things right" (anything in quotes is taken directly from his text messages). So I responded that it was too late to do anything about it now as I had already sold the phone (and had to pay a second place to repair it so I could) and that the only thing he could do was refund my money that his store LITERALLY stole from me. He called, but I did not pick up the phone as he could say anything over the phone to appease me and then never follow through, so I did not pick up. He texted again saying to "Please call me so we can discuss the issue." I didn't see what there was to discuss since there was no way to make it right other than giving my money back, so I asked if that was what he was going to do to which he replied, "Was considering that." I replied that since I didn't trust his company we could have all communications through text or email. He then said that, "I'm going 3 miles forward to solve the issue you had in the past" (um, I had an issue? I guess. If not wanting to be robbed is 'having an issue') "If you're not willing to simply have a phone conversation with me so I can fully understand the situation that had occured. That's on you. Hope you have a great day." Wow. Just wow. You are a General Manager? Because that kind of immaturity is usually saved for kids on Facebook. But, in the interest of seeing if he was truly sincere, I told him to call me when I was off work at 5:30. That was Wednesday. At 10:30a.m. I came in with an Internet connection issue concerning my laptop. After taking the name and model of my laptop, the receptionist brought it to the technician, after which the receptionist came back and explained to me that they will run a diagnostics, which is a nonrefundable $35 fee, I was then informed that more than likely it was an antenna issue and that the diagnostics fee would be reimbursed upon any work completion. Mind you this is a work computer, which I made very clear and due to that I was hesitant to wait even that long(which again was made very clear). I was assured by both the technician and the receptionist that if it was simply diagnostic I could pick it up/be notified within the hour, and if it was an antenna issue, I could pick it up at the end of the day. Five hours later I called in just to find out that I would have to wait 5 to 6 days for the antenna to be delivered and there was nothing I could do about a refund for the diagnostics (ie nonrefundable). They gave me back the phone with a broken home button and make many excesses why it was broken. From the screen couldn't read it properly to the phone being water damaged. Possibly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any establishment. Upon the initial interaction with Cellfix we were told the price to fix a Google Pixel 2 XL is $139 and that we could come in. When we arrived we were then told that the price to fix the phone was $179 due to the fact that the phone was an "XL" (this was absolutely clarified on the phone). They did not have this screen in stock and in turn we had to have it shipped. We also opted to the purchase tempered glass which was $18 and we clarified countless times that they would install. After leaving, the total cost was $217. We are still not completely sure how that total was reached, at the time we did not mind because this was still cheaper than competitors in the area. We were contacted 6 days later letting us know that the new screen had arrived, we dropped it off the next day at 2:30 and were told to come pick it up at 7:30 (they close at 8). At 7:35 we arrived to pick up the phone and were told to wait another minutes, after the 5 hours we had already waited. At 8pm we walked back in and were told that not only was the phone not ready but it was NOT at that location, but it was at another store location 15 minutes away. We drove to the N. Florida ave. store and was given a phone that was wrapped in 5 rubber bands and had dried glue seeping out of the sides. We were told not to remove the rubber bands for at least an hour and that we would then have to remove the dried glue with alcohol wipes. The tempered glass had also not been installed. The lack of communication as well as the lack of transparency from company to customer is abysmal. read more

I brought in my iPhone 11 to get my charging port fixed. The back also had some cracks in it so they offered to fix both for $140, which I thought was a good deal. It took them 8 hours to fix it, and when I arrived to pick it up, it looked good. However once I got home my phone would shut off every 30 seconds, the battery was completely destroyed. Took it back the next day with the receipt and they said they couldn't fix it til the following week because their "technician was on vacation". I had originally thought this business had done a great job, however, I explicitly stated that I had a broken digitizer and cracked screen. Upon having my screen repair, I thought everything would be great but, I had a small mark across my phone from the broken digitizer that was never fixxed but I was charged for "to make my screen look like new". After their "service", my screen has been iffy the entire time I've had digitizer and screen replaced, I dropped my phone and despite no damaged to the screen itself, there is no touch recognition on 3/4 of my phone. My husband had his screen and the face of the I phone X replaced on 3/11. His phone totally went black on 4/12 Took back to them on 4/14. Even with the Coronovirus keeping us home they said so sad too bad and charged us $99 to replace a screen they just replaced. My husband signed his credit card receipt and was getting ready to leave when they wanted him to sign something else which at this point my husband had had enough. I had a brand new battery installed in the first week of November 19, it's now the third week of February, and battery has failed. It drops from 100% to 15% in less than two hours. I was told the the new battery was guaranteed for 30 days, but for a small fee a new one can be installed.
