I asked for a replacement screen for my iPhone 15. I received a low quality LCD screen that barely responds to my fingers. It has really thick bezels compared to an OEM screen as well. It costed over $220 for this new screen, and it is significantly sticking up beyond where it was originally. The colors are terrible, and I am going to Apple tomorrow for a real screen. Don't waste your time with this guy, he buys cheap parts and does not "replace" your broken parts. read more

Miguel is an electrical wizard. I brought in my guitar (Telecaster) because I recently changed out the pickups and messed up the soldering. He went in there, redid the soldering, cleaned all the connections behind the bridge plate and tone controls, and secured my input jack. Now my guitar sounds clear and clean with no buzzes or hisses. I dropped my iPhone in the past and the corner of the glass cracked. I dropped it again this morning and the top part cracked. I decided to get it fixed today -- just to get it out of the way. Thanks to Yelp, I found Sir Fixit, which was close in proximity to another errand that I had to run today so I went there. I'm glad that I went there! Miguel was great! I went there in the evening and got in and out in no time. Before going, I knew that I was going to ask the tech that I wanted him to repair my phone in front of me to reduce any privacy issues. Well, when I got there, Miguel had an open-style setting where he fixed the phone right in front of my eyes (no taking it to some back room hidden away). Also, he told me the price prior to the repair and I agreed -- so no surprises with pricing. When he lifted off my glass screen protector, he said that the crack on the screen was not too severe and I could leave it as is but I decided to get it repaired. I liked the screen and glass screen protector that he put on the phone -- somehow, the colors on my phone look deeper now and I like the look of it. He checked to make sure that the screen was responsive to touch. He has a 30 day warranty - if any issues with the repair (not new issues), he will take care of the phone. I feel like he treats the customer the way that he would want to be treated and that the way he provides service just makes sense. I wish him great success as he builds up his business. Tip: If you're not sure of the exact location, try to use GPS to get there - I may have missed the turn if I didn't have my GPS on while driving. Update: Consider getting the original iPhone glass screen from him. I went with a cheaper alternative that has a brown undertone. Even with my screen brightness all the way up, sometimes, it is hard to see everything clearly. Also, having to turn up the brightness takes battery power.
