I would absolutely not recommend the phone clinic for any sort of phone repair. I brought in my iPhone 17 pro max to get the screen fixed. I went to pick it up when it was done, and Brian said His screwdriver slipped when doing the repair resulting in 3 giant lines going down the left side of the screen and a black bubble in the corner. He said I would have to pay half of the service and take the phone and he would have a new screen overnighted. This was a Friday and the new screen didn't get put on until the following Monday, so I paid the rest of the service on monday. After getting the new screen on Monday within A week of having the screen I picked up my phone to see 2 lines back on the left side of the screen in the same spot as before. I called him to explain what was going on and was aware of their LIFETIME warranty. He told me I must have done something to it and there's nothing he can do but would call me back. Never heard from him again. Went in a week later after waiting to hear back. Told me it wasn't that big of a deal and I can't prove it was his fault that the screen is clearly defective. Safe to say they do NOT honor their "Lifetime Warranty" and do not value their customers time or money. Would NOT recommend. read more

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE!! After having to pay another $80 to get a screen that WORKS, I was told the tech at Phone Clinic didn't even put all the parts back in my phone. It was missing several screens. And the screens they use are a local Michigan company called Siren (not sure if I have the correct spelling) that cost around $10. $200 screen my ass. My second time as a customer proved more difficult than the first. My phone screen cracked and went in to replace it. The first screen was defected. Because of the manufacturer warranty they replaced it. But apparently with a $100 more expensive one. However it doesn't matter because my screen is impossible to type on. It keeps changing the letters & typing letters or words that I don't type. He claims his testing is accurate - testing isn't typing words but letters slowly, one at a time in the "TO" of a text message. Had he tried typing he would be as frustrated as I am right now trying to type this. I showed him but he claims it was my typing. The screen that I had to get repaired was from my first time getting my screen replaced there. So I know it's possible to act normal. However he refused to listen, or test it out via typing a paragraph even though it has a manufacturers warranty. Also- the repair job was so bad the screen came unplugged from normal use within 30 min. I have dropped my phone thousands of times I'm sure but never has the screen unplugged. Listen.. I don't want to be in your store any longer than I have to. But it's time to make this right. Yelp makes me give at least 1 star but with a 25% success rate & awful customer service I'd really like to give negative stars. Edited to add: After not receiving a phone call from the owner I called the store. The same tech refuses to understand that the screen he put on doesn't work. He claims I'm trying to coerce him into something... into what exactly? I'm not asking for an additional product, I never asked for have a (supposedly) more expensive screen to be put on. I asked to have a screen that doesn't malfunction. He claimed because I walked in without a case on it, that that proves I dropped it. It proved nothing. I didn't drop it, I didn't want to bother bringing the case in with me. What I think they do is put on a terrible screen, customer comes back when it doesn't work & they seem "better" when they put on a "more expensive one". When really they're all shitty products. Because this has happened not once, but twice. He also said he'll appeal this review when it's completely accurate. This is literally the most ridiculous customer service I've ever received. Very good with communication they called me pretty much every step of the way to let me know of any updates as well as maintained good on their promise that it would only take two days to fix my computer. Whereas when I went to go fix it at Apple it took a week. The staff are also very kind and very upfront about anything that might be an issue for them overall very good service very good. People would highly recommend and go back. read more

BEWARE- Warranty company sent me here to get screen replaced on my iPhone. Now phone has error message that the screen is unauthorized. Rude guy at counter said this is normal. With the right tools all the pocket lint was removed at no charge( I tipped him $20). I then asked him to order a new battery. They can handle in house repairs ok, but have terrible communication for more complicated ones. They sent my watch out (which I could have done through the manufacturer, had I know they were doing that) and when I called for updates, they had no idea where it was - I was told Pontiac, Texas, Arizona, and en route when I called- depending upon who answered the phone- or when it would be back. It took several calls to get a tracking number to confirm it had been shipped back. Only some mysterious unnamed, unreachable "manager" knew what was going on and never contacted me. I had an old iphone screen replaced about a year ago to get the phone ready for tradein and PhoneClinic was fine. Not sure if the service was over priced or not but they were fast and convenient. This week I wanted to have batteries replaced on 2 iPhones (7 plus). They quoted $70 each over the phone. Given I had time I did some price comparisons. Through a certified Apple service group (Best Buy scheduled directly via the Apple web site) the price was/is only $49 per phone. PhoneClinic wanted to charge 40% more than the certified Apple repair. Needless to say I went through Apple and had the batteries replaced the same day. I recommend checking around and do your own price comparison. Now that Apple allows non-Apple stores to work on iPhones the market is competitive.... I appreciate the fast screen repair from PhoneClinic a few years ago - I don't like the prices now and will not consider this store further. Found their reviews on Yelp, stopped in and left 10 minutes later with my screen replaced. Looks brand new and was really reasonable. The person who helped me was nice, professional and very helpful. I'm fairly new to this area and was worried I'd have to go a further distance with three littles in the car. I had dropped my phone in my gravel drive and cracked it bad enough that it cut my finger really badly. They were competitive with pricing, friendly and finished in only 15 minutes. Needed to have my iPhone screen replaced and on a whim I checked yelp to see if there were any places near me open on Sunday. They had a few good reviews, were 7 mins away so I figured it was worth a shot. 20 mins later I have a perfect screen and honestly this is a great store with a couple great guys running it. First of all, if you walk in to the store and see a young kid working named Jordan, just turn around and leave. The only thing he can do for you is switch your phones screen even if it's not damaged. Mason will straight up lie to your face about your phone and how he can help you. Mason is smart and can probably fix your phone but when I went in here for the third time after Jordan swapped my screen twice already Mason told me the problem is that my battery was swollen and needed to be replaced. He asked if I wanted to upgrade since I have an iPhone 6 which is an old phone, I said sure but I need this phone to work until my new one arrives and I need to know for sure you can make it work until the new one comes next week he said yeah I can fix it. He replaced the "swollen" battery and 2 days later phone stopped working again. Summer just started and I am slammed at work I'm too busy to come into the store all week which was why I told him I need to know for sure if you can fix it, so I went in a fourth time and saw dad I'm guessing, dad tells me my phone has a bad terminal board so the thing is no good, he didn't want anything to do with it and told me to come back again and see mason. I come back a fifth time and get Jordan who swapped my screen twice already and wants to swap it again, I said that won't work you already did that twice. He says "you don't know that it won't work". I said fine just do it. Literally On my way home from store the phone stopped working. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had trying to get my phone fixed, everyone there tells me something different if I had mason or his dad the first time they could have saved me time by just recommending a new phone instead of f****** me around for 2 weeks. Obviously I'm insane for returning multiple times expecting my money back or them to fix it the first couple times. read more

Fixed my daughters phone by the phone clinic team. The most honest group of people you will ever meet. I went to other stores where they wanted to charge me so much for things that were not even wrong with my phone. After meeting with the guys at phone clinic I had my repair done in 20 minutes and it was the most reasonable price out there.
