Wow! My son did something mysterious and ultimately bad to his iPhone, probably drooped something on it. Anyway, the screen would flash then go blank. Not super useful. I REALLY did not want to buy a new one, but was almost resigned to it, fearing it was water damaged. I thought we'd at least get a repair person's opinion. A lot of reviews I read of other shops said they'd been charged a LOT for diagnosing the problem and I was not interested in that. I came across the Yelp page for The Phone Doctor in Kirkwood and it sounded like they offered diagnostics for free. I made an appointment (easily done through their website) and went into the shop. Parking on that Saturday afternoon was super easy with plenty of space in the free lot behind their building and even several spaces on Jefferson just adjacent. I handed the phone over the counter and before it was out of my hand the technician said, "Needs a new screen." I was skeptical, but a second tech looked over his shoulder and agreed. They quoted me $125 and 15 minutes, I said, "Deal!" I was out the door with a working phone in about 10 minutes, in which time I ordered a heavy duty case so we don't end up repeat customers too soon. Could not be happier! read more

Phenomenal service, and reasonably priced. When the screen on my brand new S21 got smashed up I called around for prices and to see how quickly I could get it fixed. I'm not a person that is okay with walking around with a cracked screen, and so I needed this fixed asap! As this is a brand new phone released a month ago, it didn't surprise me that most places told me it would be 3-5 days to get a screen in. Phone doctor said they could have it the next day, and at the same price as all the other guys! I stopped by after work, and they had it fixed in less than 30 minutes! I just left Phone Doctor and WOW, what a great store! I had broken off the charging tip from the cord and it was really stuck hard in the charging port. Another place told me it wold be $79 to clean or $150 to replace and it would take 3 days. I couldn't wait (I was traveling), so I went to Phone Doctor when I got home to Kirkwood and they fixed my tablet for free in 5 minutes with tools and perfectly installed a new screen protector on my iPhone for 1/2 the cost of what I paid at Verizon. It also doesn't hurt that the owner is rock star handsome and is an actual individual supporting a family (he and his wife have a 1 year old). So....go to Phone Doctor! read more

I went to get my broken iPhone repaired and ended up going to this store because they had solid reviews and it was close to my office and their price quote was the lowest in the area. This is definitely going to be my go to for out of warranty repairs now. The screen replacement took only 15 minutes and they passed on upselling me about $30 worth of stuff because it wasn't the best decision for me. That's so refreshing in today's market. I would be aware of their service at the St. Louis Galleria location. Their manager John Dem told me that they use screen replacements from random manufactures that are not apple approved. So they cannot guarantee the quality of the product. I tried to get my iPad 3 screen replaced and the screen keeps popping off the screen therefore exposing internal wiring and system. I went back to the store and they popped it back in and then before I even left the store the screen popped off again. Very overall poor quality and repair service. The people who worked didn't even apologize about the inconvenience but made up bunch of excuses. Not even one apology! I was just so upset and disappointed! I told them I am going to write a review and they said go right ahead! Very bad attitude and bad customer service. Be very aware! read more

3 days after fixing my phone it was cracked under the protective glass. The have a "90 day limited warranty" yet nowhere does it state what that covers. I go in and they say "water damage OR if it was cracked under the screen." Everyone knows if you get water in your phone no one will give you a new screen for free. Now REGARDLESS if the crack was UNDER the protector or OUTSIDE, it's faulty. They offered 50% off a new screen repair, which I would have accepted, had more had passed. Since I paid 60 for a screen Friday and it went to shit by Monday, (72 hours) I Believe I deserve a portioned refund or a new screen. read more

poor I phone 6 screen replacement. The screen was replaced however the tech bent my I phone 6 trying to get the old screen off, resulting in a large gap between the phone and actual screen. when I asked him what happened he blamed me and said I brought it to him that way. I dropped the phone flat on its face and it cracked so I know it wasnt bent when I brought it to him. The replacement screen sometimes does not respond to touch. The screen of a LGK10 phone cracked two days after being replaced at this shop. It happened while putting the phone in a case. I went to ask and they seem to think it is normal to crack a screen with a case installation, and did not even entertain the possibility that the glass was defective or their installation was not well done.
