Don't waste your money. They do not stand behind their workmanship or products. My daughter had an accident with her phone, and after they replaced the screen, the new screen stopped working in a few weeks. Then, that screen stopped working in a few days. They kept trying to tell me that the phone was damaged, but we would wake up to the phone not working and it had never been dropped or anything. The guy at the store tried to call me a liar. Will never go back. What a scam of a place. I'm going across the street for any future repairs. Update: Sam continues to lie. He says that my daughter dropped her phone, which never happened. Their first screen stopped working when my daughter woke up, first thing in the morning. The second time their screen stopped working, she was at the store and she had the phone in her pocket. Neither time did the screens break, they just stopped working. This place uses used parts, not new. I took the phone up to U Break, I Fix and the technician said that there was no damage to the phone. What they found was that the screen was fine, but Sam's used a tar to hold the screen in place instead of the correct type of glue and the tar interfered with the electrical connections. Unbelievable at what liars these people are. Notice how they blame the customer every time they get a bad review. They don't accept any responsibility for their mistakes. Disappointed and Frustrated I brought my phone in to have the battery replaced, and during the repair, their technician cracked my screen. The manager replaced it with a non-OEM screen and told me to bring it back if I had any issues. I appreciated the quick resolution at the time, but was never informed that the replacement only came with a 90-day warranty. Fast forward 10 months, and the replacement screen started having issues. When I brought it back, I was told they wouldn't help because the warranty had expired--even though they were the ones who damaged my original screen in the first place. Had I known the replacement had such a limited warranty, I never would've accepted it as a solution. It's frustrating when a business doesn't take responsibility for their own mistakes. Do not go to Sams cellphone repair to fix your phone screens! Reid saved up his own money for months- $160! Which is not easy for a 10 year old- and took it to Sam's to repair less than a month ago. His screen turned black and they are saying they won't warranty it bc the water indicator says water damage. They are claiming that wasn't there before (lies), but guess what- that was my old iPhone 13 and its water resistant so I took it in the pool with me all the time! I never leave negative reviews for small businesses but this is just wrong. They never mentioned that if that water indicator was on it would void the warranty. They said they would cut us a break and do another one for $150 this time. Shame on them. Update: Sam has blocked me on Facebook nobody can see my review. There are tons of complaints very similar to mine where he continues to say "customers just don't understand this policy." He has never once addressed that I have said that the phone had water damage prior to him replacing the screen and they are trying to say it got water damage inbetween when we brought it there to have the screen replaced and now, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Nick and Killian were amazing. I had just left a different vender where my phone left in worse condition then I dropped it off in. They quickly diagnosed the problem, explained in detail to me what was wrong with the initial repair and the parts that were missing from my phone from said repair. They were even willing to talk to the other vendor on the phone so I could get my money back from the "bad fix". If there was a 10 star option, I would give it. Sams had repaired the screen on a phone for me. The screen broke the next day. I went back to Sams to have the screen replaced again. I was told they did not have any more in stock that I would receive a call when the screen would be back in stock. I was told I would get a call when the part was ready that it would probably Friday. Never received a call. I have called several times since then to follow up to see if the shop received the screen and forgot to call follow up with me. It is now a week past the original Friday and when I called today and asked when they are expecting the part to issue. I was told the part was special order and I would have to come in and place a special order for it. This information would have been nice to know a week ago. Sams gets great reviews which is why we originally went with them. After this experience I can not recommend Sams. read more

M. Shelton 5/14/21 I was referred to Sam's by one of the competitors and Sam's did not disappoint. The competitor was not ashamed to admit that Sam's excelled at service and capabilities on many fronts, especially in the area of soldering (which in and of itself is an art). I actually called on Thursday but the shop had to unexpectedly be closed Thursday. I did not leave a message (I planned to call again on Friday.) so I was thoroughly surprised when the receptionist thought enough to take the initiative and be proactive and call me back in spite of my not leaving a message. To many of us, our cell phones are a very integral part of our lives for whatever reason (family, work, health, etc.) and I am no exception. I came as a walk-in because my phone was not holding a charge. I knew it had to, more than likely, be a charge port issue (had this issue before) and probably a battery issue. From the moment I walked in the door, the receptionist was very congenial and accommodating (excellent customer service skills). Sam, the owner, is also very accommodating. After repairing my phone, he personally came out and discussed the repair with me and gave me other helpful cell phone advice. I've been burned on more than one occasion by other cell repair shops so this was a pleasant change. Sam repaired my phone the same day for a reasonable price (wound up not needing a battery but charge port did need changing). Not only did he repair it, he was kind enough to undue some of the major damage caused by other repair shops. He rebuilt my phone where possible. My phone (Moto g5s plus) has been resurrected and I'm back in business now. I will forever be grateful to Sam's. It goes without saying that Sam's will now be my regular repair shop and I will also be telling others about Sam's. I also found out that Sam's works on some computers so I will be keeping that in mind as well. My husband took his cracked screen to get repaired. It cost over $300 dollars and came with a 90 day warranty. Shortly after he realized condensation was getting under the screen and saw that the seal they placed on his phone was not a tight seal. Even on a hot day moisture was getting in his phone, so it wasn't working correctly. He took it into the shop with over 2 months left on his warranty and they tried to charge him $25 to look at his phone. They finally agreed to look at his phone under warranty and told him the phone was not repairable. So after paying over $300, they broke my husband's $1,000 phone and voided their own warranty. Sam's (Maybe) Cell Phone Repair I took my Samsung S21 Ultra into Sam's to have the screen replaced. Other than a TINY dead spot in the screen, it was a fully functioning unit. What I got back was essentially a smart device, because it did everything EXCEPT make a phone calls. The "phone" wouldn't connect to the carrier. OK, so stuff happens, right? Sure, but it's how they handled the stuff that is the problem. The parts swapper hiding in the back room threw a charge port at it, but spoiler, that didn't fix it. I mentioned to whim I guess was Sam, that I had read about the OEM antenna needing to be transferred from the old phone case and he proceeded to yell at me about how "People read stuff on the Internet all the time," and that he had no idea what I could possibly be talking about. After a slightly heated exchange, I requested my "phone" and the original screen back. He looked at me like I was crazy for asking for the old part back. After he returned the original screen to me, I see that he had written inside it "S21 Ultra used Good." I can only assume he was going to sell my used, broken screen to someone else. 20 minutes of Google search and 12 minutes of YouTube and I had a working phone again. Guess what the issue was...Go ahead, I'll wait... THE ANTENNA FROM THE OLD SCREEN HAD TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW SCREEN!!! That was all. So long story, well, long...If all you need are parts swapped out, then Sam is your guy. If the S%!T hits the fan and it requires any amount of troubleshooting or REAL technical knowledge, good luck. read more

I was tried everywhere to get my phone fixed (it was "bleeding ink"). I am on call 24/7 and desperately needed it fixed "yesterday". Every other place I went, had to order the part with a "maybe " it will come in, or the phone needs replaced...of course, no insurance. A young man referred me to Sam's Cell phone repair who actually worked for my cell phone company. He said he used them before and they will take care of you. That they did! They had the part in stock, said he would have it done in about 2 hours! They did all that. The young man behind the counter got the stores hours confused...it happens, but waited on me to arrive at the promised time which was a half hour after they closed on a saturday!!
