I called the "phone medic" Anthony to solve an internet issue At&t trouble shooted as a wiring issue. I needed to run a CAT 5 cable directly from our modem to At&t's panel outside our office. Anthony ran the cable like a true Pro that he is. He drilled through a couple of bricks to get the wire into the unit and proceeded to route the cable above our dropped ceiling. He then troubleshooted a problem with one of our phone lines and fixed that as well. Highly recommend him for any phone or internet wiring issue. Very impressed by Anthony's work. Honest, professional, reliable. He seriously goes above and beyond his call of duty. Since he used to work at AT&T, he really knows his stuff. Our phone lines went out and we had him come by to give an estimate. He didn't have to tell us, but he gave us a heads up that we shouldn't sign up for AT&T DSL because we were at the end of the phone line on our street. That would mean bad DSL connection. He also informed us about some potential security issues with our home, which he could've kept mummed about. I hired Anthony to fix the rats nest of cables on the floor of my closet and to run ethernet to two rooms in the house and out to the detached garage where I have an office. This is my second review for Anthony- he is a super catch!! He is Amazing. My mom moved into a new house with a tricky and strange phone/intercom/security camera and elevator phone system that was a huge mess and headache for her. She had Verizon and time warner out numerous times and it was literally a gigantic waste of her time- she took off work several days to wait for them and nobody could figure out how to get her system working. Verizon came and took one look at her set up and actually walked right out and said it wasn't possible to fix. That's when I called Anthony. He came and took care of everything for my mom in about 5 hours and I cannot even express how relieved she is. He was so careful and professional and cleaned up and fixed everything!! Anthony got back to my yelp inquiry, literally within 2 minutes (on a Friday night nonetheless) and was out at my house on Sunday morning to install Cat 6 cable. Anthony and Otis are rock stars. After being down a week because DSL Extreme won't complete the job and the property manager didn't want to deal with it,, I sent a Yelp message to the Phone Jack Medic at 11:30 pm. He replied back at 4:00 am saying he will call me in the morning! We exchanged texts and he said he would come by in the afternoon. After a two hour drive from a job on the Westside during rush hour, they arrived at 6:00 and quickly figured out what my ISP did wrong. They had to established a connection to a sub-terminal to the other side of the complex and figure out where my unit was on the ancient unmarked terminal block in the phone cabinet. They also discovered the when my unit was remodeled, the contractors didn't bothered to connect the wires to the jack in one of my bedrooms! Through it all, they were very professional and courteous and so appreciated their ability to quickly figure out the issue and rectify it. Anthony came out the very next day to install two cable/ethernet jacks in adjoining rooms to make the house cable ready (pet peeve of mine that remodelers/flippers rip out all the cable and phone lines and leave the house unconnected to the world...), which made the later cable TV/Internet installation much easier. I didn't trust the Spectrum tech to drill holes in my walls, and Anthony got it right on the first try to minimize the hole in the exterior wall. He connected the two jacks with cable and ethernet so I can now use an ethernet cable to connect my TV instead of wifi (makes a big difference in streaming TV)! read more

You'd be incredibly hard-pressed to find someone who is as thorough, as professional, considerate, and as competent in his work as Anthony. To say he went above and beyond what would be the normal job description for someone doing this type of work would be an understatement. The level of customer service and care that he provided is a rarity in this day and age, IMHO.  We're long-time cable-cutters and had just moved to a new house, so needed some antenna and ethernet wiring done in the new place, and we hired Anthony to install three antenna wires from our rooftop antenna to two TVs (through the walls) and the patio, and then three ethernet lines from our central media hub to various points around the house. His attention to detail, craftsmanship (he created custom ports in the walls for the ethernet hookups and ran all wires under the house), and expertise was evident to see from the end result. We have a bit more wiring work to be done now that we've expanded a bit, and I will not be calling anyone else but Anthony. Do not let the lack of a website or other online outlets (other than yelp or google) fool you into thinking that Anthony is not legit. He is the real deal. read more
