There's often a sense of distrust and skepticism working with most businesses as there's the usually expectation that their set out to exploit you, but my experience with iFix felt more like I was getting a  hook up from a good friend. Gene in particular has been so generous and friendly through out my overwhelming situation with my Samsung s7 edge. The LCD screen was in need of being replaced and after shopping around various stores to get a quote I being told the same thing: it would be ridiculously expensive to purchase the part and make the repair, then it would  take 3-5 business days at the least because the screen has to ordered.  When I spoke to Gene, I received similar news,  but he went a spent further by offering advice on alternative steps I could take with consideration to my budget to either repair or purchase a new phone, and I eventually decided it better to purchase a new phone. He gave me advise to guide me through my research (was thinking about buying something online) , and made multiple offers in case I decided to purchase a phone in-store. It took me WAYYYYYY TOOO LONG to write this review! Gene is one of the most AMAZING people i have ever done business with. He is professional, courteous, honest...he's even funny...i went to get my Note 5's LCD screen fixed and i was searching and searching for someone to give me a reasonable price so i called up Gene and the first thing he did was recommend that i call my cell phone provider and see if my insurance would cover the repair..not because he didnt want to fix it but because he was actually trying to help me out so i dont spend money i dont have to spend....i explained my situation and he told me to drop by and he'll take a look at it. When i got there he was very friendly and down to earth along with his co worker that was there. I needed to replace the cracked back panel of my Galaxy Note 5 so I called up several cell phone repair stores trying to find the right color to match my phone. I was quoted the same price or higher than what Nycellfix had quoted however after speaking with Gene he seemed more knowledgable and assuring than the few others companies I had spoke with and I felt comfortable that he would provide the correct part, color and to be able to replace the panel in a timely fashion. I went down to Nycellfix put down a deposit as this is customary for when a part requires ordering. After just 4 days later Gene texted me to inform me that the part had arrived. Quality service, extremely personable yet professional, affordable and reasonable pricing. First time cracking my screen ever and I had no idea what to do. I've been referred to NYCELLFIX by a bunch of my friends so I figured why not. I was extremely nervous but from the start I was able to trust Gene with my phone. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with NYCellFix. The night before my iPhone XS screen went black I could hear it ring and hear my notifications but no matter what I did to try to make the screen visible it did not work , I panicked and was super annoyed by this because I did NOT want to purchase a new iPhone . Thank god for insurance I got a new phone quickly but I'm the type that hates to back things up and my phone was damaged where i couldn't access my phone to retrieve all my information and the 3000 pictures I wanted... some images very private ;P. I needed to remove all my info and pics before sending the broken phone back and Gene is absolutely the BEST!. I called ...set an appointment ... walked in the same day at 3:15PM and finshed at 4PM with everything that needed to be done. Very pleasant to work with .. efficient and professional. I had brought my shatters s7 edge to Gene he looked at me and said 10 days. On the money 10 days I waited and I got a call saying my phone has been revived ... my phone is brand new. I took a look at my once completely shatters phone and thought there's no way this was my phone, this beautiful phone really does look brand new. There are few, if any, honest people left in this world anymore, but Gene certainly is one of them. I took my phone to him to get it diagnosed and fixed but Gene was kind enough to give me rough estimates and advised that I should try warranty and insurance first and he was right. Was able to get my phone repaired free of charge through warranty/insurance. He sure was a lot more knowledgable than the Verizon store that I stopped by before him. I shattered my screen a while ago and was looking for a place to repair it. Luckily, I came across Phonesuri which is located inside Leisure Cafe and I was able to get my screen repaired for a very good price compared to other shops that I went to previously! Got a brand new phone ny clumsy self busted the screen in a week.Stumbled upon this place through yelp and i seen great reviews so i pursued it. They didn't have the screen for my phone on hand so they had ordered the screen and he even ordered me a phone case. This place is great!! My phone(iPhone 6) was broken for over a week, I went to over 8 places and all of them wanted hundreds. I went to cell fix they did it in 30 minutes and for a really good price. Also they went over the differences in products and helped me fix my phone and made it look exactly how I like. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone in the area as it is a great local place especially for me. I walked in here to get the back plate of my Samsung S 8+ fixed. Gene is a polite and patient repairman who is thorough and offers fair prices. Even though he didn't have the part in store, he was able to obtain and install it on the same day. He also offers for sale - a good selection of cases and screen protectors for the latest trending phones. they had characters, patterns, card holders, neat designs. This man is a genius, I went to Apple the night before to get my IPhone 6s fixed, the phone wouldn't charge and it ended up dying. They had me there for three hours just to have someone look at it, and after they looked at it for 5 minutes, they told me the phone was never going to turn on again. They tried to get me to spend $300 for a replacement phone. I went here the morning after, and in half an hour, he had fixed my battery and charging port. I went to NY cell fix to fix my mother's iPhone 5 (cracked screen). As soon as I walked in, Gene was there to help! He put on music and seated me while he fixed the screen. He was extremely friendly and was able to fix the screen within 20 minutes , for 60 dollars ( very reasonable). He even checked to see if there were any speaker issues or screen issues afterwards!
