We decided to come here early in the evening around 6 pm because it gets packed quickly. We got seated quickly but the restaurant fill up while we ate. Their menu is mainly kerala based. We got the pistachio rose lassi, the coconut lavender lemonade, the masala dosa, palakkad Avial, the nalla molagu chicken curry with some tandoori roti, garlic naan and Malabar paratha. The dosa and the palakkad Avial were the best of the lot. I am not a fan of banana in any form but banana in this vegetarian curry wasnt too bad. It tasted like Indian kadhi which I love. The chicken curry was runny and a bit disappointing. I wanted it to have more body, kick and more flavor. The breads are ok. The lassi was delicious but heavy. You could do without the pistachios pieces in it. The lavender coconut lemonade was nice. The curries came with rice, so the meal was filling for 4 people. Pricing wise, it was a little above the typical Indian restaurant prices. The ambiance is cute and casual. It has a slight cramped feel when it gets full, but overall, it isn't too bad. They have a decent open parking lot, which is convenient.

The ambience is a bit dated. The service, however, is really fast. We ordered the aapam, kadala curry, parippu vadai, mutton varattiyathu and the idiyappam. The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. The portion sizes are huge and we were left with tons of leftovers that lasted us for many days. The prices were decent too, especially for Seattle area.

She was a lovely and wonderful cat but I just couldn't capture her beauty on my own so I emailed Josh. Additionally he has shot my own dork, "Jarvis P. He gave us basic pointers of what to do beforehand (like close the doors where the cats can hide under the bed) and the day of the shoot he captured really spectacular pictures of all of them. His calm personality helped even the shy and uncooperative cats open up. The many phone pictures I have taken of my cats through the years just don't compare to the quality and individual personality he captures in the photos. They were all postcard worthy - and I'm not just saying that because I'm partial to my babies, which I of course am. Another really cool thing is that he volunteers and takes gorgeous pictures of cats in need of homes. He had actually met a couple of my cats in years prior to our photo shoot when one was in the shelter (SFACC) and one with a rescue (Wonder Cat Rescue) and he remembered them! I can't say enough good things. Hire a session with Josh for a fun birthday present for a pet-lover, to commemorate a special event like an adoption anniversary, or just because you want good pet pictures. It's indulgent and it's fun, and it's way more affordable than you might think.

I had always dreamed of a floral wall at my wedding, but what she did was better than I could have even imagined. Not being very educated in florals, I had an overall idea of what I wanted, but didn't really know exactly what that was. She was so good about showing me different options to see what I liked and didn't, and also guided me to be sure that the florals would be appropriate and what would be within my budget. When I walked into the room for the "first venue look" I was blown away. It truly was like I was stepping into my dream wedding. She somehow knew exactly what I wanted, even though I couldn't describe it. She was so helpful throughout the entire process, every question was answered quickly which really helped to alleviate some of the wedding planning stress. The pork ribs and sliced brisket were sooo good w their spicy bbq sauce and corn bread. The collard greens were aight. I'd prob stick to their sweet potato fries or hush puppies next time. While I haven't been to the original in Korea, the LA spots are my go-to favorites, so I'm comparing this new Lynnwood location to that experience. The interior here is great--open, inviting, and perfect for first-timers. The service was excellent, and like the LA locations, they handle the grilling for you (a premium touch you don't always find at local KBBQ spots). The menu and pricing are very similar to what you'd expect from the brand. I did notice a slight dip in food quality compared to LA. The meat there tends to be leaner, the seasoning is a bit more refined, and they are much more proactive about swapping out the grill plate between different cuts of meat. That said, chain standards are usually highest in LA, so that's a tough comparison. Overall, it's still a fantastic experience. If you're a first-timer or comparing it to other options in the Lynnwood area, I definitely recommend giving Baekjeong a try!
