What can I say , This place is incredible! You won't find a more fun and safe place for your kids to hang out than this! The staff here truly cares about the kids on a deep, personal level. My son takes martial arts here, participates in the parents night out events, and will also be having his birthday party here soon. He has friends that attend the summer programs, and afterschool programs as well, and every family we know has nothing but incredible things to say about Coach Sharon and Coach Josiah and the entire team at Inspiration Kidz. Inspiration kids is a great place for children to build self-confidence and self-defense skills. My child has been going there since the age of four. She has gained great values of honesty, integrity, standing up for Friends, knowing the real from the fake. I highly recommend this place. They also run an afterschool camp for partner schools in Glendale. read more

This is the BEST place for kids to have fun and learn respect. I was looking for a camp for my kiddo last summer and decided to give Inspiration Kidz a try. The 5 star reviews did not lie! Neither did the parents I spoke to outside before I dropped my kid off for the first time! He LOVED it and wanted to stay longer AND each day he woke up looking forward to go to camp. Coach Sharon is awesome and everyone working there is respectful. It is important to know your kid is safe and having fun especially in the times we are living in. Participated in the women's self defense class and felt so empowered by the end! The owners are a husband and wife duo with a fabulous team of coaches! I have been training with Inspiration Martial Arts for the last decade after the school I had been training at was absorbed by this company, and can say with confidence that you won't find a better place around to learn martial arts. The culture of the school is incredible, and the instructors are some of the best in the industry. The continually receive continuing education which they bring back to the students, and they are wonderful role models for children. The life skills I have developed through their program have helped me succeed personally and professionally, and I would not be where I am today without this program and the caring instructors, who work hard to help the students achieve their goals! This is SO much better than all of the craptastic ones that my parents took me to when I was a kid. Most dojos/academies have one of two basic problems: they're either so strict that very few young kids will stay motivated and interested with their "boot camp" style, or they are so lax and unprepared that they can't even break basic moves down into their composite movements and posture. Inspiration not only keeps it fun and exciting for kids, but also provides extensive instruction on how to execute every segment of every maneuver. They also teach everything from social and life skills to personal safety in non-violent situations as well as the physical ones. Kids and adults learn and advance at their own pace, and they have a variety of packages from basic TKD to sparring, weapons, hyper (trick/stunt styles) and kickboxing and Krav Maga for older kids and adults. You can also choose from a basic 2 classes per week or a more intensive schedule. Please remember that you get what you pay for. The tuition is about 2-3 times what I had initially intended to pay, but the results as well as support system are well worth it, and they do have payment plans with multiple options to help you to afford their fees. They also have great family rates so that your while family can train for around the same price as 2 or 3 people, depending upon which package you choose. For the first time since I became a parent, I finally have a team that is able to reinforce the lessons I teach my sons, both positive and disciplinary. You can also see the results by the number of district/state/world champions who have trained here, as well as by the roles their students take on in the community. My youngest son used to be very wild and disobedient in comparison to his brothers. My middle son was beaten up about twice a week in his old school, and the administration did nothing to correct the problem. My oldest son wanted an outlet to grow his athletic and leadership skills. Inspiration ATA has helped us to take care of all of that and more. This is probably the best investment I've ever made...and I hold multiple college degrees including an M.A. If you are willing and able to make the investment in their programs, the dividends reaped will far outweigh the costs. In addition to fitness and self defense, your child will develop self-confidence/self-esteem, respect, discipline, vision, teamwork, leadership, community responsibility, academic focus, and so much more. I love my boys, and as of this writing, this is probably the best choice that I have ever made for their growth, development, and well-being as they become more independent and capable adults. read more

Cost review only. Calling around for beginner classes for a young child (under 7) and came across this location with a promotional offer of 5 classes for $25 ($5 a class). Definitely a good promotional price and strongly considered giving this a try to see if it might be a good fit. That said, I reached out for more information and the phone number was disconnected. Once I finally got a response via email the cost breakdown was jarring. $170 a month with a year commitment or $200 a month (month to month). Also... a $50 yearly fee. 2 classes a week for an hour and again, this is for a small child. Considering the $5 a class trial cost, this kind of jump in price seems to me like a bait and switch. Your kid tries it out for a couple of weeks, gets into it and now you are looking at over $2000 a year. Who in their right mind would pay this much for a kids program?!? The review would have been a 1 star but in fairness, could be a great school. Pricing is ridiculous however. read more

Wonderful summer camp program that my 11 year old daughter and 7 year old son attend. Coach Sharon is amazing at communicating and pushing our kids to be the best they can be while maintaining a fun environment. The skills that are taught here are valuable and life long. Absolutely amazing place to train for Taekwondo. What started out as an activity to help our oldest son learn self defense and confidence 4 years ago, turned into our whole family training in Martial Arts. We love it that much. They also offer fitness training classes that we enjoy as well. The instructor's are amazing and really enjoy what they do. It's like one big family here and we would highly recommend Inspiration Martial Arts to anyone. read more

Have brought my son twice. So far he enjoys it. Instructors seem to care about the kids and in pushing them to succeed. Feel they need more organization in the class. Some of the students seem to feel they can do what they want. Instructor does bring them back into focus. But this is a serious sport, needs to be shown the respect that it has earned. read more
