I have been going here since January 2016. This is the best doctors office I've ever been to. Dr Ubaldo is wonderful and so are his PA's, medical assistants and front desk staff. They do everything in office there from office visits, taking blood, to X-rays, ultrasounds, they also have a physical therapy room that I've never tried but looks good. Dr Ubaldo and his PA's are very smart and his front desk is so good about getting referrals done within 24-48 hours. 5 stars. I love them. read more

Can I give none! My wife used him prior to us marrying. My first visit was the day after Easter, about 10 years ago. Dr.U dosed off during me explaining my history, during the first visit. I did some PT there, I rode a stationary bike with a kitchen timer taped on it. His NP was the best part, kept us going there, but she is gone. Last visit was today. I needed an ear rinse, but the 2 interns from Pima Medical Institute could not do it correctly. They invited me to come back next week to give it another shot. Checked out Dr, and not ready to work in the med field staff. Do not go here. read more

Every single time I come here whether early in the morning or afternoon I always wait almost two hours to see a "Nurse" not the "Doctor" a freaking nurse! I pay out of pocket and I literally just need to give a urine sample to get my prescription refilled!! Every damn time I end up waiting almost two hours! I'm so freaking sick of this BS!!!! I've been a patient for roughly 3 years. Things I like: thurough, no sense of being in a hurry or rushed during visits, online access to lab results (lab is also onsite), they recently started seeing patients at 7 AM Monday and Wednesday, RX's are filled on time without the need to call the office (unless your due to be seen by doctor or NP)... truthfully, I haven't had any negative experiences thus far. I highly recommend this office if you are in need of a new primary physician in the Katy area, as I once was. read more

I was recommended this doctors office by my insurance , I have to say this was one of the most unprofessional places I have ever been to. They asked for money to hear my results of my test even though my tests were covered by my insurance . This was not the typical copay amount was well this was a Substantial more amount . I love Hector-I loved Dr Jolly. What I don't love is waiting over two months for the office staff to return money owed to me because of a mistake made by the lady who checked me in. I am on my 22nd message left with either the receptionist or the office manager Maureen. I had-yes HAD been going to Hector for over 20 years. Its so so sad that he is losing a patient over $150.00 owed. They have been paid by both me and then after realizing their mistake submitted my claim to insurance and got money there too!! This doctor was an absolute catastrophy. He was very unprofessional in every move that he made in my alleged care at his practice. He yelled at his staff as well as criticized me about being mental when I had explained the nature of my pains due to the Sickle Cell Disease that needed maintained among other diseases. He looked at his computer the whole time during the office visit and made sure he shut down my thoughts and concerns about how to treat my issues. I would never recommend this Individual as a health care provider if he did have a licence to even practice. I will make sure, if it take my last breath, to strip him from anything he has from the state. If you were to consider this "JOKE", do yourself a favor and "RUN LIKE HELL", in a the opposite direction. Iwill make sure I choose wisely next time. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Ubaldo's for almost 20 years now. I have seen many things change over the years and the thing to most take note of now is their outstanding customer service. I was there when Dr. Ubaldo answered the phone himself to make your appointment. :-) Currently, you are always in an exam room or in the staging area within 15 minutes of your appointment. The Nurse Practicioner there now (Chelsea) is incredible!! She listens, is inquisitive, caring and works to get you the correct diagnosis that will get you back on the road to good health. The staff always has a smile and are as friendly as can be. I have recommended Dr. Ubaldo, Chelsea and the Physicians of Katy for many years and I will continue to do so. Please give them a try if you are looking for a good doctor and staff in Katy or even Houston. read more

If you want your information given out and insurance billed for procedures you never received definitely try this doctors office. I used to love this place when Jolly was still there and stayed just because I didn't want to find a new PCP but I am at my wits end. Dr.Ubaldo isn't terrible but the office staff is CLUELESS. Not only fo they look at me like they're confused whenever I request information but recently they tried to charge me for a procedure I never received! When I told the medical assistant that she was mistaken she then showed me a paper with my mother's information on it...they had confused our similar names. So I'm standing there with my mothers information that she just handed me thinking wow is this not a violation of HIPPA? Second of all if they billed my insurance for this procedure I never received isn't that insurance fraud? It is unfathomable how incompetent his office staff is and unfortunate that Dr. Ubaldo is losing patients because of them. read more

Been going here for 20 years. Ubaldo is great! He's very busy & might come off like he's not listening but shoot straight with him he'll give you the time & really knows what he's talking about. He can be very honest. Only problem is about an hour wait in the waiting room EVERYtime. I usually try to get with the nurse practitioner just to get in & out quicker but there's still a pretty good wait. I would try to make my appointment as early as possible. read more

I have been a patient here for almost 3 years, and the only reason I've suffered the incredible incompetence that the staff at this office has demonstrated time and time again is because they are one of the few offices that accept the insurance I used to have. I have little to no complaint about the doctoral staff, but the only other consistent staff member is Sam, who is literally the only one who seems to have any idea what is going on. If I don't speak to him, I literally have to call upwards of 3 times to accomplish anything. That is not the exaggeration of a disgruntled customer, that is an actual average taken from the 60 plus phone calls I've had to make. You can spot a bad practice in a few ways, but one of the most reliable ways is to look at employee turnover/time. I have to go every month, and it should be shocking that I've almost never seen the same set of faces working the office. Every time I hear the words, we'll call you back, I groan audibly because their call return rate is sub-10%. Still not convinced that this is the worst possible place to take your business or your health? I have to urinate in a cup every 2 months. They literally have cups and a sharpie in the bathroom for you to write your name on, pee in, and place in a 2 sided cupboard. Can you say disgusting? I even complained about it to the PA and she said oh that is disgusting I didn't even think of that, I'll let someone know about it. Yeah, no surprise when 2 months later nothing has changed. Even worse is I was so sure that it would be the same that I brought my own sharpie. EVEN THEN WHEN I OPENED THE CUPBOARD TO DEPOSIT THE URINE THERE WERE 2 OTHER UNCOVERED SAMPLES, ONE OF WHICH HAD TIPPED OVER, LITERALLY SPILLING SOMEONES PISS ALL OVER THE CUPBOARD. I only went 3 times and that was enough. One of the office staff acted as if I was bothering her when I tried to discuss something with her. Later when I received my claim back from my insurance company for a physical I had just done with them that was suppose to be taken care of by my insurance ended up costing me an office visit. When I called my insurance company to ask why they said they had given me a reason the doctor's office had said which was not true. I called the doctor's office and they gave me a different reason saying it was because of saying yes to prescription refills. What upset me so much was the Dr. (not Ubaldo) asked me if I needed any refills, I never brought it up or had any intention to. I tried to call and get it straightened out with Dr. Ubaldo's billing department but they told me I should have said I would call if I needed them. I told them being a new patient I didn't know this was something I should have said and the doctor should have never asked me that question during a physical. To me that was double dipping. I still haven't been called by the doctor who examined due to some test results, I'll be changing my doctor! read more

If I make an appointment with a doctor I expect to see that doctor not his assistant (without my consent). If I ask whether or not you can accommodate my medical conditions I don't expect to be told yes on the phone and no when I come into the office. One of the initial forms (not verbatim) basically says you authorize them to do whatever they feel is necessary..... as if you don't have the intelligence to make decisions regarding YOUR personal health. And finally, there's that lack of rapport. Veterinarians have been friendlier to my dog (and shown more genuine concern). But then, it's your health. I value mine more than to return to this doctor. read more

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. This is one of the only places my insurance allows me to go and if I did not need refills on my meds I wouldn't. I feel like I get pushed back in the queue because I am covered under Tricare. My first appointment I waited forever to see a NP who took 45 seconds with me, and who I couldn't understand. The lab guy missed my gigantic veins and just acted like a jerk. My second time I came back because my labs were off, but I was sick the time before so yes, my wbc was high. The next time I waited 4 hours for a physical. 4. Hours. At least the lab guy was better but who doesnt run an A1C for a physical? Decided to come back for a well woman exam with that new NP I saw during my physical. I get there, do all the pre stuff, and get naked only to have a NP I have never seen walk through the door. Wtf? Ooookay. Well I'm already naked so get on with it. We went over my sleep study results and she prescribed me 2 meds. I still don't have one of them because they can't be bothered to fill out a single page form my insurance needs. Today I'm seeing the same NP as last time (the 3rd one now) and she walked in 15 minutes late. I thought by making an 8 am appointment I would be seen in a timely fashion. As I type this, a nurse/ma walked in, said oh, wrong person, and walked out. No one seems to know what they are doing here. In fact the same ma came in and had to ask my name, giggles and says they have everyone mixed up. She asked my I was here... Well it's a follow up you guys said I needed.... She can't pronounce basic meds and in fact, she, or whoever it was last time, couldn't pronounce contraceptives! Once I get everything done and tested and more than a 2 month rx for my much needed meds, I will be changing offices. So far today we have been waiting an hour. We waited a total of an hour and a half. As a side note, the person with my went to the bathroom and came out with bleach stains all over her pants. New pants. Torrid pants. Seriously? read more

I was not going to do a review, but I have to let people know so they don't waste their time with this clinic. Dr. Ubaldo's office is just terribble. Staff is so incompetant, rude and they loose your results or they don't call back to give you test results. They say I have to wait another month or two to make an appointment. They don't return calls, they don't know what they are doing. Manager clearly has no idea how to run an office either. I wanted to have a brief meeting with the doctor to complain but was dismissed and informed I could not talk to him because the manager was his daughter and it did not matter what I had to say. The check out girl was scared as she said this whispering so she would not be heard by others. Looks like all of them are scared of the doctor and his daughter. Totally unacceptable and I am calling the medical board to complain. Horrible clinic. read more
