Great doctors and family care! Dr. Chung has been may personal physician for over 15 years. My wife and son are also calling on him. I've never had a better physician and give credit to my current state of healthiness to Dr. Chung and the good physicians at KIMA. Over the years I have watched this practice grown and grow. They are friendly, have a strong network of referrals and contemporary solutions for health. I do not find long waits most time and if I have an urgent need I have usually been able to get immediate care from a nurse practitioner. The location off of Grand Parkway gives you easy access to their lot and the modern building makes you feel more comfortable that you will be getting the latest in healthcare. read more

This is a rip-off organization. The email address they give out is bogus. They do not answer the phone, so all you can do is leave messages which are NEVER returned. They send out fake bills stating that the insurance has been billed and to pay up. When I researched my outlandish statement, I found that they NEVER BILLED my insurance. They are crooks out to rip people off. Don't even consider them if you actually need care and to be helped. The staff is rude as they can be, they can't keep appointments straight and then the billing department is a night mare. Absolutely no reason to ever go there! read more

If you need an occasional antibiotic or exam as I did for many years, kima is good. If you get a chronic condition you will be referred to a nurse practitioner for all visits. You can only ask one question or be seen for one thing during a visit. A second issue requires a second appointment. If you get a complex problem they will not order tests or acknowledge the patient's story regarding injury but will drag their feet and order useless tests that don't address the issue but line their pockets and those of the insurance company. If you press them on this they will refuse to treat you or let you be seen by any other doctor in their practice. read more

This office was consistantly the worst experience I have ever had with a medical practice. Front desk rude. Return calls not timely. Written orders by nursing wrong 4 times for the same order. LONG WAIT when no one in the waiting room.Office manager not helpful. Did not get to see Dr. Chung except for initial session. I had brought another family to the practice when I came. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received here. I came in with my grandmother, who is already on a walker, so it takes her longer to get around. We thought our appointment was at 2:30 so we came in to get paper work to fill out at 2:05. Turns out our appointment was at 2:00. The receptionist proceeded to give us the paperwork to fill out and mentioned nothing about us being late. We were halfway done with the paperwork when we were asked by the receptionist if we were almost done because we were already late. We were then told that we would have to reschedule. read more

I have been a patient of Katy Internal Medicine for three years. I have a chronic condition so I have regular appointments. But once I was very sick at night and needed medicine so I called. The doctor was fast and nasty. He talked over me and would not let me speak. He just wanted to get off the phone. If you use them for your primary care doctor, they wont help you if you ever get sick at night. They will just tell you to go to the hospital. It's their policy. read more

My wife and I are looking for a new primary physician in the Katy area. The receptionist was rude when my wife scheduled the appointment. She asked if she could speak to someone else who spoke better English. My wife speaks 3 languages and everyone seems to understand her clearly. I arrived 17 minutes late. I'm new to the area and I Initially went to the wrong building. The nurse told me that Dr. Campana already left the building. Really? I take responsibility for being late, but the receptionist (Colleen) could have handled the situation much better. Unfortunately the staff in the office is so horrific and nasty I will not go back to see Dr. Tan . I have honestly never experienced such a rude incompetent abrasive staff . They are unprofessional lack follow up and simply have no customer service skills!! I went for 2 weeks without my necessary medication due to their lack of response and when I called on my 7th attempt to reach a nurse to get my prescription I was handled by a nurse who claimed she was the manager named Becky.... She was rude, talked over me , made excuses and practically accused me of lying saying calls were made to me although I had no messages, no missed calls nor was my medicine called into my pharmacy. My advice to patients who value their health- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!!! Seek other medical providers. read more

Rude Customer Service, Rude Employees and Dr/Physicians are supporting the attitude of their UNPROFESSIONAL emlployees. Dr Chung is very incapable and not worth the credit. He doesn't like bad reviews and will call out patients for being harsh when bad reviews are given, but yet they have no regard or not even an ounce of empathy & concern for their patients, considering he is the PCP. They do not like to be updated by other doctor's regarding their patients condition when seen but other doctor's their office will call you and tell you to stop giving them updates. They have no issues hanging up on other Doctor's employees and let alone their patients too. Do yourself a favor and find another Doctor that will have more compassion for their patient, a Dr that actually loves their job and not just love having the title in front of their name. They do not know how to treat patients (people in general) with respect. read more

I just tried to call and make an appointment for my husband and I didn't quite understand what the receptionist said as she mumbled into the phone, I asked her what did she say and she literally SCREAMED into the phone (still mumbled). The lady who books the appointment is a piece of shit. I was looking for a new primary care and I called them. I confirmed with the appointment lady on the phone if Dr. Mukesh Mehta accepts new patients and she said yes. It took her over 30 minutes to take all my information, kept me on hold for at least 5 times and then when it's time to book the appointment she tells me Dr. Mehta does not accepts new patients. There are lot of better options and doctors in Katy, I would stay away from this guys. read more

This used to be one of the very best practices years ago. Now the doctors are hit or miss and the staff flat out sucks. Some nurses, especially the one with the British accent, have horrible attitudes. As someone who had been going here for over two decades, it's time to find a new place where the patients are treated like people not a number. read more
