It's an upbeat, cheerful atmosphere. I was assigned (mainly) to Charles, who listened carefully to me, figured out what exercises would help the two problems I came in with, then came up with a good plan I could also do at home. Occasionally, due to scheduling, I had other therapists who were also excellent. The therapy assistants were also very knowledgeable about my exercise plan and very helpful. I'm not always a huge fan of apps, but I really like Rehab United/ Keet Health's exercise app, which lists all my exercises, along with short videos of each one so I can see if I'm doing them properly at home. I "graduated" from therapy a couple of weeks ago, but I'm still doing my exercise plan at home in order to continue my recovery. Thanks, Charles and Rehab United.

My Doctor enthusiastically referred me to SpineZone, as he had utilized the facility himself and personally endorsed it. I must say...although it was not an easy journey to recovery, SpineZone certainly did their best to get me down that road as quickly and effectively as possible! This place was great, I'm very glad that my Doctor sent me to SpineZone! This is a facility that is run by an Intelligent, Affable, & Dedicated Staff! In my time there, I was instructed by at least 6 different Physical Therapists, and never once did any of them make me feel stupid or weak for not being able to complete or understand certain exercises! Each time I left SpineZone, I left with a feeling like I was another small step closer to regaining my Strength, and in turn, my life! Even in the midst of the Pandemic, SpineZone stayed in touch with me, periodically checking up on me to see how I was feeling, and gave me access to their extremely Helpful & Expeditious Online Program to continue my Therapy at my own pace! All In All, my time at SpineZone was an enlightening & enriching experience from start to finish! And aside from some minor soreness when I start to slip back into my own bad habits & improper posture, My Back feels Strong once again, and my posture feels so much straighter and more symmetrical, far more so than when I began the program! SpineZone gave me the tools to take back my Strength, I just had to make the Conscious Choice to use them, and follow their instructions & routines, which I will admit, can be difficult at times. But that's Physical Therapy in a Nutshell I suppose, it all comes down to conscious choice & of course, the proper guidance....which you will certainly get from this place! This outfit SpineZone or whatever they're called now is NOT trustworthy to keep clients personal and health information safe and secure! Until there are criminal charges with monetary damages awarded to the victims of these data breaches they will continue to happen as these companies really have no incentive to safeguard people's personal information! But La Mesa Rehab was AMAZING! I'm able to function now WITHOUT carting that dang oxygen concentrator around all the time. They are also so friendly, and always challenged me ,and always encouraged me to do better. They really enjoy their work and make La Mesa Rehab a friendly and fun environment. My only complaints are that (1) they are in La Mesa...wish they were closer to my home...but they are worth the drive...and (2) that Medicare requires me to take a few weeks off every so often (but that's not their fault). After checking in, the receptionist told me she needed to use the restroom and walked away. I later realized she had actually gone to speak with the office manager. When she returned, she informed me that the office manager said I could not be seen that day. I explained that I had been treated at this same location in November without any issues. She responded by saying I "shouldn't have been seen in November because they didn't get paid." However, I have the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing that the claim was paid. I expressed my concern that this was an urgent care facility and that I was being refused care. I was simply told that I could not be seen there. The entire interaction was disappointing. I found the staff to be rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to communicate respectfully or resolve what appeared to be a misunderstanding. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this facility to others. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location based on my experience.

I started Physical Therapy at PRN La Mesa in March, because after spinal cord surgery last year,…read morethe finger tips in my right hand were completely numb with no tactile sensation. The Neurosurgeon wanted to do more surgery to try and relive the symptoms. A nerve conductive study gave a diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel. I asked for a referral to PT before considering another surgery. At 74, surgery risks increase. My Physical therapist was Pablo Pelayo. After my initial interview, we both agreed that my symptoms were not typical of Carpal Tunnel. After 5 visits, I was elated to find I was getting sensation back in my fingers. This was HUGE!!. After more than a year I finally got sensation back, without surgery. Pablo's approach was phenomenal.We continued to work for a total of 16 visits. Now I have 75-80% feeling and tactile sensation back. I could not be more appreciative or grateful for having the full use of my right hand again. Pablo and the entire staff at PRN La Mesa, treat all their patients with dignity, respect and genuine concern for getting the best possible results.
