Beware - physical therapists are great but the billing department is fraudulent. They collect payments from you up front and collect payments from your insurance but will not refund your money if you stay as a patient. So, we cancelled further appointments. This "double collecting" is worrisome as a majority of the patients I saw there were elderly. They also keep your credit card on file to charge so there is no reason to not refund previously paid charges. It took 13 weeks, 4 phone calls and a visit to the office to get my refund. They also directly lied to me about mailing a refund check. Their phone calls say they are recorded so they would have proof of them telling me the date of a check being sent that never was. read more

Everyone at Golden Bear Physical Therapy was outstanding to work with! I started there after knee replacement surgery and they brought me from hobbling to healthy over the course of 12 weeks. The staff are all knowledgeable and caring, making me feel like they took a genuine personal interest in my recovery -- which they did. On October 4, 2022 I fell off a ladder as I was working. I broke my left leg in 10 different areas and my bones were shattered. I underwent surgery on October 6, 2022. I was wheelchair bound after the surgery and the surgeon told me that it will take me a long time before I could walk again with my left leg. I started physical therapy in December of 2022 with Golden Bear Physical Therapy (previously Physiomotion) in Fresno, From the moment I walked in the staff was encouraging and motivating! Front office staff, Erin and Julie, were friendly, available to answer questions/concerns, were accommodating with scheduling my appointments and encouraging. Dr. Jason Gray and his staff are professionals and yet in some way they treat you as family. My physical therapist mainly was Paul, but I also worked with Jason and Andrew during my sessions. I loved that they looked at my case individually and tailored a workout routine specific to my needs. I went from not being able to walk to running on the treadmill by the time my sessions were through. I can't say enough about this amazing team! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging every time they see you. The camaraderie among them all is infectious. You can't help, but laugh and have a good time while getting physical therapy. The staff genuinely cares about your healing process. Paul is always encouraging with his "More exercise, more fun" motto. Andrew tends to you with such care and yet he pushes you to accomplish the goals. Jason gives you tough love because he knows what you are capable of and sees your potential! My goal was to walk down the aisle to my husband to be on our wedding day and 10 months later after starting the PT sessions, I walked down the aisle to my husband. The GBPT staff made that happen and pushed me to reach my goal! I am so thankful for everyone of them that pushed me, motivated me and encouraged me! I even invited some of the staff to our wedding so that they could see the outcome of their hard work and efforts from helping me. I have needed physical therapy for three separate occasions. This building is designed like someone's house...it's comfortable once you get inside. The treatment rooms have cool themes (not just posters of skeletal structures, but themes that reflect on the owners). The therapists are all skilled and helpful and you actually see them a lot (some clinics you only see them at the very end). I have to say that Dr. Jason Gray seems more like an actual physician than just a physical therapist - he's easily the best in town at what he does. He figures out precise ways to rehab your injury and it's almost like he can diagnose your problem just from his evaluation - like going in with a back problem and then he says it's actually your knee - and then it is! This place trains and rehabs all the big time soccer players, and I've been there when they were also teaching club kids on how to properly stretch and work out. The bottom line is all three times, from my torn calf to back problems from a car accident, I got better at Physmo. Plus you can tell how good a medical place is by the front office staff. The front office is clean but homey and the staff is incredibly welcoming and down to earth. I haven't been to other clinics, but hands down this has to be one of the best. I've been coming to Golden Bear Physical Therapy and Wellness since early September. After sustaining a workplace injury I underwent PLIF surgery of my S1-L5 vertebra. I'm extremely happy with my experience. Julia and Erin at the front desk are friendly, approachable, and profesional. Andrew my PT and aides Nick and Ashley are well trained, competent, and skilled in various modalities. I searched the Fresno/Clovis area for a couple of weeks before committing to a practice. I wanted to ensure I received the best care and an attentive therapist to get me through post surgery recovery and a systematic re-building of core strength. The therapists here are committed to a proper and safe recovery they take my healing seriously and are invested in my progress. One of the many tools they offer is a tailored exercise/stretching routine that is sent to your phone via an App so that you can continue the routine at home. The app has detailed videos to ensure you maintain proper form and you can follow along with the video and log your progress reinforcing communication with the therapist. I've since brought my 12 year old daughter to Golden Bear Therapy after she sustained an ankle injury during a cheer competition. Highly recommend Golden Bear Fresno (formerly Physiomotion) and all of the therapists there for all of your PT needs. Whether you have a sports injury, are post-surgery, or just want to deal with chronic pain or other issues they are the place to go. I saw Dr. Andrew Alvarez after a hip repair and he is the best! He really cares about each and every one of his patients and provides very individualized treatment to all his patients. At other PT offices I have been to you couldn't even tell who the physical therapist was because they were so removed from your care but that isn't the case here. The therapists are very involved and they provide a good mix of manual therapy and exercises with a home program as well. And everyone at this office is wonderful from the front staff to the PT aids, everyone is so nice and caring and really gets to know you to help you reach the goals you want to get to. I've been coming to Physiomotion for more than a year. I've worked with Jason and Paul on disc issues, a shoulder impingement, and a patellar issue. I can't recommend this practice enough. Staff are smart, creative, effective and kind. They spend the time to hack your specific body issue in a thorough way and develop individualized training programs. Hours are more flexible than any other office I've attended-- I can come before or after work. My 6 year old daughter was seen as a new patient today. PT is necessary due to a severe fracture she suffered to her upper arm in November.
