AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! PI Services LLC is a HORRIBLE company. Megan and Mark are extremely unprofessional, have no sense of urgency, and will THREATEN you when THEY make mistakes. I paid and sent in my request to have them serve someone on 11/17/2023. Megan didn't even start to work on my file until 03/19/2024, and was finally wrapped up 04/03/2024, almost five months from my initial payment. Throughout this period, Megan missed MULTIPLE of my emails, and I had to always be the one to initiate the follow ups for new information. They then price gouged me without informing me what the payments were for, and requested yet another $40, but not until 06/07/2024. AFTER 7 MONTHS. Mark messaged me directly about this amount, and I attempted to work with them, and see if they would waive this fee, as there was another services I needed, and informed I would use them if they would work with me. Mark then ALSO missed my message, and then sent me a new message THREATENING me if I didn't pay even though he missed the email response I had already sent to him one month prior. While I do understand that the court system moves slowly, it should not have taken this amount of time for them to start the process I paid $340 for, and received such a disgusting amount of disrespect from. There are so many better companies that are out there, that will show you respect, and will actually do the work timely. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. read more

PI Services did a great job helping me with my small claims case, I couldn't have won it without them. They did a great job serving the defendant in a tough location. They were able to handle all the technicalities of dealing with the court and the paperwork and even gave me great advice on getting the proper parties served to get evidence. I read advice that you should go with a process server that's been around for a while. When we recently needed the services of a PI, I called three different agencies. Mark Ososke, from PI Services, was the only one that called us back. He responded the same day with a list of services and estimated prices. He was very thorough. We hired PI Services and were very happy with the results. Along with quickly locating an address they were also able to serve a subpoena. We appreciated the response time to any questions that we had. We feel they are very professional and know what they are doing. If we need the services of a PI in the future we will obviously use them again. Extremely crooked business. I hired mark to locate my ex husband (who is on probation in his county) and to serve him. He chose not to do this, instead claiming he did the work that he charged me $300 for, sending me basic information on my ex husband he printed off the internet. He also chose not to relay the fact that he did nothing I hired him for until after the court date I hired him to serve this person for- citing an "email snafu"- but still refused to refund any money. I think at some time in your life someone in your family changes and you know in your gut something doesn't seem right but have no idea what. We knew we needed help. I will say this; the situation was stressful and we had no idea how to get honest answers if something was going on. We used Mark at PI Service, LLC to do surveillance and use GPS to see if a married young lady was cheating on our family member. The answers can be hard to hear but not nearly as hard as dealing with deceit. We are now able to start healing and are accepting things we cannot change. My former bosses Paris Cohen and Joshua hired this company to serve me and they could not have been stupider. They left a business card with their company name on my door alerting me to the fact that I was being served. Allowed me enough time to find a lawyer and fight my employer. They made their first attempt in April and finally served me in July. My advice to you if you are Googling this company and just received a business card that says PI Services on it is to not go to court for any minor traffic violations if you can respond by mail because I was only served when contesting a traffic ticket in the Multnomah County Courthouse. I hope to prevent others from wasting their time and money. My card was charged and the email recieved with detailed instructions, as well as description of contents attached. When they missed the service date, I called to find out what the issue was. I was then met with opposition, attitude, and what I believe to be dishonesty. I was then offered no solution for my problem other than a refund. Look else where for consistent and helpful attitude before hiring their services for this was not the case for me. In my experiences with them, I don't believe that they really cared about my details, and there was no follow through even after speaking with staff multiple times. Once i confronted them with the issue at hand, they didnt not take any accountability for their actions or in this case in action or offer any appology for their blunder. **update** I have received my refund. ***update*** mark is now texting me telling me to take my review down or he will be suing me. read more

*UPDATE* they even attempted to leave some rude voicemail schooling me on the law..umm you weren't serving me and I completed a job your "professionals" couldn't get done.* HORRIBLE service and they can't even serve people properly. In Oregon you cannot tape service notices to the door they must physically be handed to an individual "substitute service" is not legally complete until proof is filed with court someone was served in person at residence AND mailed notice was done. I advised the server if this when he taped something to a neighbors door. There must be an order for alternative service and at the time there was not This is the second time I've seen this company have an issue serving an eviction to the point they claimed their serve was watching from the fence all day while a tenant was moving, yet i, a neighbor was able to successfully serve the tenant with no problem. The same day. When I called to let them know I sent a form back for them the guy Mark got rude and tried to chastise me about a run in about another server serving my other neighbor. Obviously considering none of your servers seem to be able to serve documents properly and I did it with no issue it tells you what type of dog and pony show is going on. If I have to put anyone out of my rentals it will absolutely not be with this company! Don't get snarky with someone who completed a job your servers couldn't! read more

I had to file in small claims--a process I'd never been through before, and I didn't know how to find the defendant. They were great. They knew all the ins and outs and how to overcome the difficulties. Best of all, all I had to do was send them payment and they monitored and took care of the whole process. I didn't have to do anything except wait for the outcome. What a relief! I had no idea how the system worked and didn't have the time or desire to have to learn it all. Overall, I found them to be very helpful, professional, good at what they did, much better than the average process server (he's a private investigator, so has access to databases which many process servers don't), and quite reasonably priced. They don't do a lot of communicating midstream, apparently working from the "no news is good news" model, but they were always willing to answer my questions when I called, and have lots of useful information on their website.
