Diplomate is a small music store on Beaubien, near the metro. They don't have everything, so I hadn't thought to check them out in my last couple weeks of looking for a certain pedal. But walking by today I stuck my head in and was amply rewarded. Not only did they have it, it was significantly cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it! And even more importantly, the service: respectful, helpful, no music store snark at all.
