They do a stellar job every time. Most recently, I had to bring a new Martin OM28 in for a repair because the high E string was too close to the edge of the fretboard (such that if I did a downward pull-off, the string would roll off the crowned edge of the frets, killing those notes). Toby immediately spotted that the nut slots were improperly spaced (which was kind of disappointing for a brand new Martin, but at least Martin covered the repair). The repair and setup was done PERFECTLY! I couldn't believe what a difference it made...to the point, I felt compelled to email Toby to thank him and to post this review (something I never do). Montreal guitarists need to know about this place. They are the authorized service center for all the big name brands (including Martin, Taylor, Fender and Gibson). Yes, they unfortunately have a two month waiting period at the present time, but that's only because they have a stellar rep. But not to worry, you don't have to be without your guitar during that period. Just contact them to make an appointment and reserve your spot. Then they'll contact you when it's time to bring your guitar in and it will be ready for pickup within a week for simple repairs or setups. All I can say is that it's well worth the wait! If you want your guitar to play and sound its best, do yourself a favor and take it to Montreal Guitar. Thanks Toby and gang! I signed a lease with my band and put my drums in a room. One day, my band decided to change music…read moredirection to something with more synth and less drum-heavy. So, they wanted to part ways with me, and as part of that, wanted me to move my drums out of the room. That would have been perfectly fine if they respectfully had asked me to leave, but that's not what happened. What really happened is they went to the management of this studio and asked them to change the lock combinations to prevent me from accessing the room with my belongings (despite us being on good terms before that). A respectable studio would have not accepted such a request given that my name was on the lease and I had full right to access my equipment. They would have asked me to simply come pick up my drums. What happened is I lost access to my own belongings despite having my name on the lease. This is theft, let alone obviously very disrespectful to me as a customer! And, I didn't hear back from the band about when exactly I could pick up my drums for a while, so I contacted the studio management to help me move my drums out since I am on the lease and have the right to my belongings, which oughta be respected. I didn't hear back for 2 days, telling me they could not help me get my equipment, which is again considered theft. Fortunately, my band members eventually got back to me, and I got my drums out of the space. Long story short. The place discriminates against their customers. They respect some of them while not respecting others despite being on the lease. A place with this kind of discrimination is unethical, and you cannot trust it with your belongings. Your items could get stolen as a result of this, and you will not receive respectful treatment if in their discrimination, they decide you don't deserve respectful treatment. Even if I was respected at this place, if I heard a story like this, I would pull all my items out in a heart beat and never rent any room there. A place with that kind of untrustworthy service should not be in business, and places like this go out of business all the time.

I had moved whatever furniture out of the way beforehand but he moved bedside tables and beds to get underneath and put them back in their place! I found a gold ring had been left on my father's desk and asked my father about it. He said he thought he had lost it almost a year ago and said that was worth the price of the cleaning many times over! There was a light scent that dissipated after a few hours but I had no reaction to it. I would definitely recommend this company. I was really convinced that the couch was stained for good, but I booked MiMa to come try their hand at it. Within 30 minutes the entire thing was totally clean! It was really quick and professional, they were exactly on time even for an 8am clean and got right to work. I honestly thought I would never have a clean couch again, I'm genuinely really glad I went to them instead of trying any more disastrous DIY cleaning methods. Very friendly customer service as well, which goes a long way when you're stressed about your couch possibly being stained forever. The prices are reasonable too by the way, even for my big 4 seater couch - a lot of other companies gave me really crazy estimates and I thought I wouldn't have the money to get this done.
