Estuardo/Fresh Start Painting has done a couple of painting jobs for my clients in San Francisco. One job was with a Notice Of Violation with DBI involving a lead paint issue, and the building is right next to a populated recreational park with children's activities; we had to go over many hurdles with DBI and park inspectors while we had tenants living onsite. His crew of painters were reliable and agreeable to make a few adjustments that arose along the way. The work was finished in a timely manner and the exterior of the house looks great. We had a great experience with Fresh Start. Our 120+ year old home in SF needed a fresh look in the kitchen and first floor bath - both of which we had deferred a few years back when we had most of that floor done by another painter. He had retired, and when a flyer came in the mail from Fresh Start, I called and Estuardo came out to provide an estimate. After more than 40 years of grime and wear, with older wallpaper in the kitchen and some pretty distinctive tile and fixtures in the bath, this was not an easy job. But Estuardo was very responsive and willing to wait while we got our shots and "cleared" to begin. His team started on time, finished on time, provided great detailing, practiced COVID safety and was clean and respectful of our privacy. Estuardo Godinez has been an life saver. I am selling my house and he came out to give me a painting bid. He got the bid to me quickly and it was very reasonable. He also gave me a contact to refinish the hardwood floors and a roofer to look at a skylight. I had a contractor scheduled to install patio doors that cancelled twice. I called Estuardo and he found someone to do it right away. He also gave me a bid to demo the existing kitchen tile counter and backsplash and repair the drywall after the tile removal. I asked him if I could get someone from his company to come by and give me a bid, he introduced himself as the owner and said he would be by Monday morning and he was. The job started that Wednesday that week, which is when I met his just as fantastic crew.
