Had an absolutely incredible meal- and experience at this husband and wife owned and operated establishment. We are here for a football camp tomorrow- (we are from MA) and I found this place in a whim- and am so thankful I did! We enjoyed the eggplant rollatini special as well as the most amazing Caesar I've ever had- (I'm 100% putting grilled red onion on my own from now on). Then my son had the hand made Orichiette pasta and I had the Filet mignon. Bout OUTSTANDING! Our server, Gina, was wonderful- as was the teamwork of all the staff working together on a busy Saturday night. I felt like I was in Nonna's dining room- it was beautiful- I only wish I lived closer so we could come back again!

Quaint little place that we found by chance. Service was great and food was prepared very well. There were some excellent specials and the cocktails were great. Would definitely go back.

I am so grateful for all of the restaurants around me in my new address in Ocean. But mostly grateful for Piccola Italia being right across the street. The food, atmosphere, drinks, staff (staff especially) are all top notch, always. I try to variate what I order, their specials are always fabulous. I had zucchini flowers today stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella. I treat myself when I come here after a long work day. Quality is superb, so I don't feel guilty splurging on my meals here. My only, only ONLY gripe ... is I always crave this place on Mondays- when they're closed. But, I love that they give their staff off on Mondays after I'm sure are many many busy weekends. Jewel of the area.

It's a rare thing these days to have a five star dining experience. Thankfully for us, Piccola was just that! We made a reservation on a Friday night around 6pm. The restaurant wasn't too busy but started to fill out shortly after we arrived. We ordered the burrata to start which was outstanding. For my main dish, I had the veal ragout with fresh pasta. Wow, was it good. We rounded out the meal with their freshly made cheesecake which was the perfect ending to the meal. Our server couldn't have been friendlier and really made us feel at home even though it was our first time here. It's been two months since my visit and I'd be lying if I said I haven't been thinking about them on a regular basis since.

Very pleasant early dinner tonight. The space is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Service was impeccable & our server Tawny could not have been more friendly or helpful. My daughter tried a pear martini which she loved. We shared the artichoke appetizer which was very tasty. For entrees my wife had Rigatoni with shrimp & sausage. My daughter had Burrata ravioli & I tried the Veal Ragout. All the dinners were fantastic. Overall a really nice restaurant with an innovative menu.

My gf and I were in the area for the weekend and I am SO happy we came across this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. Every single thing we ordered was delectable. I got an aperol spritz which was huge and so refreshing. We highly recommend the scallops, eggplant rollatini, and the burrata ravioli. For dessert, we got the creme brûlée which was extremely tasty. There is lights all strung up outside which made the whole ambiance so romantic.

My wife and I had a date night here and this is what we both thought: Ambiance: It reminds me of a diner. Price: $$$$ Food: We had the mussels as an appetizer. It was delicious but cold/warm. I had the ribeye steak cooked medium....it was medium rare. She had the rigatoni and it was delicious. For desert, we shared the apple crumb cake...it was dry...very very very dry. When we told our server he offered us more ice cream or sauce instead of taking it off our bill since we didn't eat more than half of it. Service: very friendly and attentive BUT the servers where poorly dressed...sneakers, sloppy and didn't fit the "price" of the restaurant. Over all....it was good but unfortunately I don't think we will be coming back or would recommend it to friends. The food was good but I think when you're paying $150 for date night then the ambiance, overall experience, needs to be on point.

One of the finest filets I have ever enjoyed with decadent truffled potatoes.

We tried to have dinner Saturday night 11/18/22. They were too "snooty" for us. Besides Olivia II Pizza & Pasta was more our type of joint.

On July 17, we had a reservation, but the woman tried to make us think we were lying until I offered to show her my confirmation. She told me she was just waiting for a table to get up. We were consistently told to move back-and-forth from one side of the aisle to the next, making us feel like we were in the way. She then offered me the one high top that was in the back close to the bar area and was annoyed I didn't want it. She said when I make a reservation, I should indicate that I didn't want the one high top table. After over a 1/2 hour, she told me whoever gets up first we have that table, but when a table got up and we were about to walk over, she yelled that we can't have that table that it's for 4 and we were 2. She was extremely arrogant. The waitress serving us was very nice and kept apologizing that the bar was busy for my husband's drink, then apologizing that the kitchen was so busy, delaying the soup and then the main dish. After over 1/2 hour after we ordered and filling up with bread because we were starving by that time, the soup came. It was very good, but we wanted to leave room for the main dish so I only had a little and my husband had about half. I told the waitress that I never took soup home but was wondering if that would be OK since we wanted to have some of the main dish. My husband said that she could put it in one container if it was large enough to fit. She brought it back in a tiny little container, and when we looked at it, she told us "don't worry, you'd be surprised how much fits in there". When we got home, it was evident that they filled this small container and spilled out the rest. I was so upset with our experience that I sent an email to the owner on July 19th, and to this date about six weeks or so after I have never heard from him with an apology. We will not be back!

I especially like Olivia's "Brooklyn Pan Pizzas", like their Grandma, Trenton Tomato, and OG Classic varieties. Pasta dishes are also very good.
