Dinner with friends last night was a great experience at this resturant. Just off Route 35 hidden in an industrial park it's well worth the effort. Plenty of parking and the food was excellent. The servers were great. Especially explaining the specials (and there were many). Complimentary bruschetta and warm bread was a nice start. Broiled scallops over spinach fettuccini was excellent! Chicken francese Was another well received plate. Looks like the do a good business with takeout and pizza, but our dinner was great.

What a great spot! Went with girlfriends tonight and had a wonderful dinner. Just a few minutes from Industrial Way with a private parking lot. Clean facility with incredibly friendly service. Casual environment with above average cuisine. The 4th member of our party was running late - they were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to order light appetizers and wait for her arrival until we ordered dinner. All requests honored within a minute (ie pepper, wine glasses, etc). My girlfriend and I decided to share the three cheese eggplant and the penne vodka - the kitchen split it up for us so we got plates with the portions already divided (without us requesting). Despite the fact that we closed the place down, they offered us dessert and encouraged us to stay as long as we liked. The penne vodka and eggplant was super tasty. We shared the artichoke hearts and mozzarella in corozza appetizer - both delicious. Their marinara sauce is very good, which is the sign of a great place. Grated cheese on the table the whole time. Portions were generous. Don't leave without having dessert. Homemade Italian cheesecake - incredible. BYOB. Would absolutely recommend and return. Tobe was a wonderful waitress!

Every time we come here it is a new adventure .. celebrated my birthday tonight and all meals were amazing and service was exceptional...shrimp franchaise is one of my favorites.. pasta rustica. I had pork osso buco tonight.. I think tomorrow we will take out the pasta rustica which is amazing!!

Illianos is not on a major road. It is hidden away in an industrial park near Route 35 and Industrial Way. But it is worth searching out. Probably 95% of the customers are regulars because no one is likely to drive by and decide to stop. The other 5% may be people like you reading this review and willing to try a new Italian restaurant. Try it! On your way, stop and pick up a bottle of wine. Remember: Red wine if you are wearing dark colors, white wine if you are wearing light colors. That way the spills will not be so noticeable. So, when you enter there are short term parking spots by the front door because Illianos does a good takeout business (pizza etc.). But, this is also a place for fine dining with a pleasant ambiance. We dined there last evening arriving around 5 pm when only one other table was taken (many came during the next hour, some with reservations). Our waitress was Victoria, very attentive throughout and a charming upbeat personality. The busboy also was attentive. Dinners begin with tasty bruschetta, then salad and bread. For entrées we had Flounder filet - in a white wine lemon butter sauce topped with sliced almonds and sundried tomatoes ($21.95) and Red Snapper Amalfi - sautéed with black olives, roasted red peppers, capers, garlic, with a touch of marinara sauce ($28.95). Both were delicious. We have dined at Illianos for more than five years (though not frequently because it is not in our neighborhood) and have always been well satisfied. Food is great and prices are reasonable. And don't forget: you will save a lot of money because this is a BYOB (so that $10. bottle of wine does not cost you $30.).

Go for the lunch service which is fast, reasonable and good selection of italian favorites. My absolute go to dish is the calamari marinara which they can make without the pasta. They have chunks of nicely sauteed garlic which really makes the sauce. Service is fast and attentive during the lunch but I have tried their dinner service which was very slow. They had one server and a bus help but there was no attention to checking back with me and I constantly had to flag the server down for anything I needed. Stick to the lunch service here.

They have a massive parking lot and outside the entrance to the restaurant is a nice garden area with a fountain. I think they likely do alot of private events. The restaurant itself is one large room, it looks modern and sleek with really nice new bathrooms when you walk in. The food was very good and the portions were generous. They bring focaccia to the table with olive oil and butter. The focaccia was a little dry, but I am not complaining about free bread. For starters we tried the napolitano flatbread, shrimp scampi (is an entree but we shared it as an app) and eggplant napolitano. Others got the mezze plate, clams oregonata and fig and goat cheese flatbread and loved them all. The napolitano flatbread was very tasty, similar to a pizza. I hate when flatbreads have a thin crust like a cracker and this was the opposite, thick and fluffy. It was fairly large (cut into 6-7 pieces and about a foot long). The shrimp scampi was delicious with 5 large shrimp cooked perfectly. You could not ask for better shrimp and the sauce was divine. We also enjoyed the eggplant napolitano, it was basically eggplant parmigiano (3 large pieces of fried eggplant with cheese in tomato sauce). For entrees we ordered the halibut and twin lobster tails. The halibut and lobster, like the shrimp, were both cooked perfectly and had lovely texture. I liked the parmesan crust on the halibut and the risotto was pleasant (I am just not super into risotto as I think it gets old after a few bites). You can have the lobster steamed or broiled and we went with Corey's recommend of broiled as it comes seasoned and he was spot on. Even without the butter (they put a bowl on the side so you can dip the lobster in it) the lobster had great flavor. For dessert we ordered the fresh apple crumb pie but it was more of an tart. Those we ate it enjoyed it, but said they would not feel the need to order it again. Overall a really nice meal if you find yourself in the area.

Many people enjoy the interaction that we engage in at the post office, the gas station, the barber shop, the butcher, the fruit store, etc. Here there seems to be a very definite history of the great staff members moving on, sometimes with little or no notice, and it has impacted the comfort level for me, and for many of the people who also frequented the store. The product has been good, at times excellent, but the overall experience has been greatly diminished by some real nice people who were employed there leaving. I don't feel the same joy supporting a business that seems to have a pattern of upsetting what appears to be excellent employees, and this is by no means a negative statement on the new people who come in to replace the one's who leave. I sure the new ones are very nice too. It all just creates this sense of sadness and negativity about and towards the ownership and overall establishment. I guess in life some of us reach an age, or a point, where what we put in our body has to do with more than the food itself. It connects to the vibe, the humanity factor, the trust, etc. I have stopped going to Local 130 after the last person left, almost without exception. And I am a customer who was there a minimum of once a week for several years.

You walk in expecting the best and they DELIVER! Everything was perfect! The service. The suggestions. And the FOOD! I almost don't know where to start. I'm a trust your server kind of girl. When we were debating on which sangria to get, I asked our server which one and he suggested red... perfect! Whatever you do, don't skip the sangria! It's so well balanced - not too sweet, just the right amount of alcohol and it's juicy! Not sure how else to describe it. Honestly the best part was whenever my glass was low (we got a pitcher) anyone who walked past filled us up. Not just our server. What more could you ask for? It was the small things that made this experience special. Things you can't skip... 1) the garlic shrimp! Looks spicy but it's not - super flavorful and you want more. A hit at our table. As I'm writing this... everything was hit! The calamari, the shish kebab, the Iberico, the cheesecake, the rice pudding... all of the things were perfect! I literally have leftovers that I can't wait to eat for breakfast. 10/10... highly recommend!
