We decided to do takeaway pizza from Piccolo tonight for dinner and the 3 things we got, garlic cheese bread, margarita and carne pizza were all 3 amazing. The service was excellent and the pizza was ready super fast. The inside was super cute and they do have a small area where you can sit to eat. We would definitely come back.

Pretty good pizza for Ireland. Hard to say if it's the best. Maybe in the area. Went in this past weekend. Service was friendly, place was clean and great decor and layout. Ordered a 12' cheese. Took roughly just under 10 minutes. Plenty of add ons like oil, ground pepper, chili flakes etc around the restaurant. It was good. No flop which is always good. Means good dough. Cheese and sauce were nice, could have used a bit more but was still good. I enjoyed it more than a few other pizza places in the area. I just felt it was missing something. I'll probably try some toppings when I'm back. But still good pizza for Ireland and in Kerry. A nice place to check out when in the area for I'll be back

Wow! I think we just had the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life. Choose the #2 marinara and added mozzarella. Every part of this pizza was perfection. Love the garlic oil topping. The staff was so nice and overly friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back. Who knew we'd have such an incredible pizza in Ireland?!

We were looking for a good pizza place while we were in town for the night and a ice cream shop owner suggested we go to piccolos. He warned us that it was small but very good. His suggestion was definitely just as good as he suggested! The man making the pizza is from Naples Italy and made pizza like an artist! We pulled the 1 table close to the other widow seats so all 6 of us could share the 2 pizzas we ordered and we had great conversations with the guys working! I would definitely suggest this place to anyone wanting great pizza in the area!

We walked by and the coffee smelt so good, decided to do our last breakfast in Tralee here…read more I stuck with my usual of the full Irish and got: - Ashes Sausage: this was darn tasty - Ashes white pudding: if Chicken Pate and Chicken sausages had a love child, this would be it - so good and creamy! Best white pudding eaten on the trip so far! - Killorglin smoked bacon: smoky and crispy and oh so good. My co-diners ordered extra!! - Jack McCarthy black pudding: I tried to take a pic of the ruby-red and purple colour and failed. It was elegant and lovely. - Ardfert free range eggs: the richness and yellow yolks were divine - grilled tomato: decent, might be weakest part of the brekkie - tomato chutney: I licked this clean and got seconds. Perfect blend of spices, onions, tomatoes and sultanas. I would just go and get this and eat it with good Irish cheddar cheese - toast: two different varieties and crisp - freshly roasted filter coffee: fantastically light roast. All for €9,95!! This was the first full Irish breakfast I ate where I walked up and felt perfectly full but not stuffed. The Roast House has my vote for the #1 Irish breakfast in Tralee with Yummy Cafe as #2. We also got tempted by their desserts and the Walnut coffee cake was divine! It had properly fresh cream frosting, whipped light as air, moist cake and we demolished it plus took cappuccino to go. Absolutely recommend and would go again when/if in Tralee again! Note: #275 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

The server wasn't the most friendly but she was efficient and kept our drinks filled including the big water pitcher we were given. I ordered calamari for the appetizer and it was good. It came out quick! We all had pasta for our entrees - I went with the spaghetti alla pescatora which had several types of seafood in it - and I thought it was so good. Very flavorful and it was a lot of food for the price. The entrees took a bit of time to come out but we were not in a rush so it was okay. They had several TVs throughout the restaurant set to different channels. The one near our table was playing what seemed to be some type of soap opera and it was cracking us up. Not what you would expect of this type of restaurant especially with how busy it was when we were here but it kept us entertained nonetheless! We were lucky that they allowed us to split the check up at the bar! It made our dining experience much easier and many restaurants don't like to split the check so this was much appreciated. There is a note on the menu that if they are super busy, they ask that you don't split the check.
