How fun). During this visit, I waited in the waiting room rather than leaving since I was only quoted an hour wait. I ended up waiting a whopping three hours and they hadn't even provided me with the complimentary car wash. During this visit, I talked to the assistant service manager because I was upset about the long wait times and he let me know that he advises all of his advisors to give out loaner cars, even for simple services. I was a bit disappointed that this wasn't an option for me. As with all mini servicing, we did find other issues with my car and I very much wanted to go elsewhere to get these things fixed. However, I was able to come to an agreement with the assistant service manager and was guaranteed a loaner for my next servicing as well as that free car wash I was missing so I decided to give them one last chance. During this second visit, I would say everything went smoothly: I was provided with the loaner car which I used for about a day and a half and then I picked up my car at the end. Overall, the people who work here are all very nice and friendly. My only two complaints are: they take a very long time so make sure to advocate for yourself and get a loaner car, and they are very pricey (but obviously this is the case as it's the dealership).

I originally came in specifically for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that was advertised online as CPO. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed the vehicle was actually not certified and only had around 500 miles remaining on the factory warranty. Despite that, the pricing remained consistent with what would typically be expected for a certified vehicle, and I was then encouraged to purchase an additional $3,000 extended warranty instead. As a buyer, that was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. On top of that, several promises made during the sales process were not properly followed through on, including the tint request. Communication throughout the process was poor, and expectations were not clearly managed. The vehicle also was not thoroughly detailed before delivery, as I am still finding personal belongings and food debris from the previous owner under the seats and floor mats. I want to be clear that my frustration is more with the dealership process than with any one individual employee. However, attention to detail, transparency, and follow-through are exactly why customers choose Sewell and pay Sewell-level prices. While I did end up getting the car I wanted I came in expecting exceptional service and a true Certified Pre-Owned buying experience, and unfortunately left with neither.

I called the dealership where we bought it (and JUST paid it off this month!!!) to ask if there was a replacement I could get and how much. The gentleman at the dealership was every nice and made sure I was asking for the correct part, but when he told me the price, it was going to be $1000 just for the mirror and top cap, and that's not including labor. I was crestfallen. I just had to do some home repairs and don't have $1000+ for a new mirror. I googled for some places to get parts like Amazon and Advanced Auto, etc and while the prices were about half of what the dealer wanted, none of them had OEM Honda parts. They were third party, which doesn't always stack up in the quality department. Then I remembered that I could check with salvage yards and "pick a part" places. I came across A1-Rylie Auto Parts in the Dallas area and saw they had the exact part I needed, an official Honda part and in the color I needed - for $175!! I logged into their live chat and spoke with one of the representatives named Kevin M to ask some questions about it. Was the part in working order, do they ship, how much is shipping, is it scratched to hell, and so on. Kevin checked to see if the part was in stock, assured me that the part was pristine (it totally is) and gave me a grand total including shipping. He got back to me quickly, and answered all of my questions expertly. After we finished chatting, about an hour later I got an email from him with several high quality photos of the mirror assembly I ordered before he rung it up. He had a picture of each side, the camera, the mirror itself and a shot of the camera in the mirror working. He said he just wanted to be sure it was the part I need just in case there were any corrections needed. I told him that was exactly the part I needed, and then faxed in my order. I checked in about an hour later via their chat service to confirm the order was in and Kevin confirmed they had the order and that they would try their hardest to get the part out that day, if not the next. I requested a tracking number when it was shipped and was told I'd get one without a doubt. Keep in mind I placed the order YESTERDAY - 11/10/2022. This morning 11/11/2022, I was sent a UPS tracking number via email and thought to myself, "well this probably wont arrive until Monday at the earliest, but at least I've got the part I need with little effort." Cut to about 2PM this afternoon, Im sitting in my living room watching TV and there's a knock at the door, UPS had dropped off a package. I checked and sure enough, it was from Kevin at A-1 Rylie. Sure I live about 150 miles away so it's relatively close, but still, LETTERS take longer to arrive in the same town than this mirror did to arrive at my place. And the packaging? This thing could have survived a nuclear explosion it was so well packaged and protected. Heck, it almost took longer to unwrap the thing than it did to install it! I installed the new mirror without any issues, and now have a fully functioning passenger side mirror, AND I saved probably over $1000. TL;DR: Buy with confidence from A-1 Rylie.
