I think it might be because they are 24/7 which is nice when I need to pick up my prescription a little later. My doctor wrote a prescription for a specific brand of medication, but every time I go, I always get an off brand of the medication. The employees have been very kind to me so the problem is not them (I think). They would put in the notes in my account to order the specific brand my doctor prescribed, but every single time I still get the wrong brand. I would pick it up and not be aware that it's not the one I wanted because when you pick up a prescription, you would assume it's what you were prescribed. I would take it and then they would not get in the one I need in time or I have to pay $20-$30 out of pocket, which is not what I want to do each time. I have been taking the off brand one, but the side effects have been terrible!! I have told the employees at the pharmacy about it too, but somehow I struggle to get what I need. I now have to call in every month to make sure they have my brand in stock or to order it. Last time, I was told they would be able to order my prescription and have it in the next day at 2PM and that I would be notified via text message like I usually do. I was like okay great! Two days later and I had not heard anything so I called them again. The employee said my prescription had been in and ready and that it would just take her 45 minutes to fill it. No problem. I go in about 7 hours later to pick up my prescription, after standing in a long time also, just for the employee to tell me that it is not ready. What!! I think the employees there are great. The store is always clean and the cashiers working in the front are always kind and always greet me. The pharmacy has a lot of improvements. I really should just transfer my prescription.

Any other pharmacy would inform me of alternatives such as generic options that I could request from my doctor. With this pharmacy you'll have to know what each alternative is and then specifically ask if it is available. Not to mention that there is an obvious language barrier that has made even in person communications difficult. I guess it's time to find another pharmacy.

It has a pharmacy, which offers vaccinations as well as a drive-thru, a photo counter, a cosmetics counter, and all the normal drug store finds. If you are in the area, this is a fine store to visit. If you want a somewhat nicer store, travel a bit further down 256 to the Pickerington location (just my opinion).

When I questioned why I was told because 3 months prior I got an early refilled on the same medication. I said true, but that was because I left some of my medication at a family member's house that lived all the way in Arizona and couldn't simply drive all the way back. Then he proceeded to question me as I didn't have my aunt mail it to me. I looked at him and said it's against the law to have a prescription medication sent through the mail. I'm sorry, but you are a pharmacist you should be well informed of the laws and regulations when it comes to prescription drugs. After about five more minutes of being interrogated, they still refuse to fill the medication. I said it was fine. I left and had to transferred over Giant Eagle that fills the medication with no problem or issues. I will never use Krogers pharmacy again.
