She recommended going online and booking a "Quick Start 2.0" lesson with one of the instructors they had. I created profiles for my wife and I on their website and booked the lesson. Another couple at our same level was added to make a 4some. We met with our instructor Scotty for the 2 hour lesson and he was AWESOME. We spent about an hour discussing the rules, scoring and running through a bunch of drills that taught us to say the score, serve, volley, where to stand, etc. He simplified everything and and we were ready for some game play. The 2nd hour we spent playing actual games and rotating partners. We could get in about 3 games going to 11 points along with instruction. I highly recommend a lesson. We paid $60 each, but learned so much. I also watched a video on YouTube explaining the scoring prior to my lesson, so it made it easier to understand. The place is busy, but the reservations make it well organized. We have since rented our own court and brought our kids to play. Court was $50 and paddles were $5 each for those that didn't have them.

The lighting is great and it feels and looks like a brand new facility. There is also a bar area! The staff is friendly and accommodating. They also offer lessons. There are also demo paddles you can play with if trying to find a new paddle. I've played in their social open play and it's a great way to meet new people and play with all different levels. All of the people were so nice and the owners do such a great job of creating an exclusive and fun environment.

Came here just for a trivia event but the pickleball courts looked cool (have only played…read morepickleball once or twice and stopped after almost twisting my ankle). Seems like a cool space to hang out with friends and eat some just-ok BBQ. We had a hard time finding the entrance and almost went through the emergency exit but just know that it's on C Street and the signs for PKL/Pig Beach are pretty inconspicuous and small. We tried a few things off the Pig Beach menu, none of which blew my socks off. Ordered a sampler platter of BBQ meats, my favorite of which was the cheese jalapeno sausage link. The rest of the proteins were either dry/lacking in flavor (brisket) or doused in some indeterminable sauce that overwhelmed everything else (pulled pork). The best thing I ate ended up being the crispy chicken that my husband added to his salad. I wish they brought back the nachos on the previous menu. Parking: Limited meter options so get here with some time to spare. We did a few circles around the block before we finally found a spot in front of the building.
