First time at this location. This is one of the larger Pick 'n Save stores, and it even has a housewares department. You can find small appliances, pots and pans, lots of different baking accessories, and other kitchen and household items. On the day I visited, the store was clean, well stocked, and had helpful staff. I was able to find the several items I was looking for without any trouble. A good shopping experience. I'd definitely come back to do more shopping here. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT PICK N SAVE!! Now only to they treat customers poorly, but they will CHEAT YOU at the register!! Today, I was asked to leave just because I insisted to know if every dIscount was applied!! They cheat you ALL THE TIME and you have to WATCH THEM!! This happens EVERY TIME!! Me, a diabetic, was told to LEAVE WITH NO FOOD just because I wanted to know that all discounts were applied after the cashier couldn't tell me. I stopped here for a take home fish fry because you can walk in and out with one with no waiting which is good until 7pm so at 5:45 it should be no problem and to do some shopping. I did my shopping and it was about 6 pm and I can't find any cooked fish in the deli, they ran out I'm told so plan B was the cooked hot fried chicken and to my surprise I got the last one so now the fried chicken is gone and it's only 6 pm, actually next to nothing left because I saw one rotisserie chicken left on the hot table as I grabbed my chicken. Sometimes I want a quick mediocre fish fry spur of the moment with out waiting for a restaurant on Friday night but they let me down today. The store itself is like any other P&S with fresh meats, seafood, produce etc etc but honestly I don't shop them like I used to because Tony's bbq is gone and they charge for cash back now when no other store I shop at does. Honestly I didn't shop P&S/MM as much as other stores but I'm finding since Kroger took over no reason to shop them at all but they have a couple items that are exclusive that I like so I will probably go a couple times a year and that's about it since the things I really liked are now gone. read more

The liquor depot here permanently had its separate entrance closed, and I cannot check out liquor at the common self check-out. I have to pay for it there, after the cashier takes it out from locked glass shelves (thank you Democrats for making my neighborhood a low trust shithole btw). It wouldn't be half as bad if they didn't always stick this withered little midget boomer who always fucks off as soon as I come up to the checkout counter and fiddles around with something else, leaving me waiting on her ass. i have delivery service and NOTHING IS AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY!!! Have to pay to join BOOST and then when they deliver have missing items, wrong bill totals, etc. the delivery men are mostly nice , it is KROGER that makes errors, overcharges etc. their buy 5 save $ 1.00 on each item would be great if they didn't raise the prices on these items over $ 1.00 from 1 or 2 weeks before! like we aren't smart enough to remember that! I was able to watch the "security" guy yell and scream at people in the parking lot that he makes the rules and that if he wants to close the store 15 minutes early, he is going to. If you don't like it, he said he would knock you out. So yea, that was nice. read more

This location has the best seafood selection specifically CRAB LEGS! There's a lady that is always there (don't know her name) but she is always so nice and efficient! This most recent time I was there she went in the back to look for more crab legs and good quality ones as well! This location is the only one that honestly has good quality seafood! Side Note- Also the 'Customer Service' desk employees are very nice as well- I remember I had to ask a question about something and they were really helpful to me! read more

Here is my review of the Pick' n Save, located at 6760 West National. Based on my previous (recent) visits there & the most recent one (Sunday, 12/19/21)? -- Don't shop there. It's a dump and maybe dangerous. I have been stopping & shopping there for way too long, as its on a bus line. And it used to be open 24 hours. It now closes at 11pm. Over a decade ago, it was a "good-okay" store. Nothing great, but the prices were fair to good and the help was adequate to "okay-good." An overall "B-" level store. Now, when you go into the store, it looks dirty, disorganized, and pretty scraggly. The floors look like they could use a good washing (bleaching wouldn't hurt). When I go to FESTIVAL FOODS or even PIGGLY WIGGLY, it's not unusal to see a guy going around w/ a professional floor "scrubber." Not here. Never! I've seen hot foods left out from when the Deli was open, left on the hot food display (this is after 9pm at night), expired food still on shelves, food & debris on the floor. Some of the food looks really picked over and there have been several ceiling leaks that were finally repaired (I guess - the ceiling tiles looked discolored and stained for a really long time, though). Sometimes, the entrance lobby leaks and they place larger buckets on the floor. As I wrote earlier, this location was never fancy, but it didn't always look like a bombed-out war bunker. And some of the help could use some training in courtesy and appearance. As in wash and comb your hair. I'm not a cover model, but I also don't work with food or the public (anymore). I only used to go there for emergency supplies. NEVER AGAIN. NEVER. On Sunday night, after checking out and paying for my few groceries (milk is way pricey there, too), I was followed out on the lot by a older male P&S employee, who has appeared or seemed to be "on the spectrum." Now ... I've never had one word w/this wacko, though I have seen him working both inside and outside the store on previous visits. I would guess he's worked there for at least five years - or more. This employee (at first, wasn't sure it was the same weird dude) started following me once I walked out of the main exit doors. I slowed down, thinking that if this wasn't the same weirdo - or even if it was - I may have to dash back into the store. I mean, this older, troubled dude was two to three feet behind me. I stopped to adjust my face mask (he was NOT wearing one - and a large number of this store's employees do NOT wear masks or do NOT wear them properly, btw) and I could see that this guy was the same dude - though he was not wearing or displaying ANY employee name/store badge on his yellow reflective vest. I parked my cart into a cart corral and he followed me in there. I then spoke up and said "Give me my space, Man." He went off, started growling, cursing, and saying something about how he was going to give me space, using an angry tone and seeming ... well, unbalanced. He grabbed my now-empty cart and pulled it away from me. I stated that I was going to call in a complaint and asked him his name. Again, NO BADGE OR ID on him. He screamed from about five feet away "MORON!" .... I then replied that I was calling in and would lodge a complaint. He then entered the store, muttering and sputtering. I've seen this employee in the store over the years and he has always appeared ..... mmm, troubled or on the spectrum or challenged. And? .... I likely won't call in, because this might be the only job he could get. And since I will NEVER set foot in that store again, what good would it do? I will instead spend the $100+ per month for my groceries and supplies at a PIGGLY WIGGLY, a FESTIVAL FOODS (clean stores! and un-PSYCHO EMPLOYEES!), or TARGET. DON'T SHOP HERE on/at the PICK' N SAVE @ 6760 West National. You, me, and we can all do better. This was an INTOLERABLE incident. AND the prices are high, the store is dirty, the shelves are often empty or disorganized, the floors look like a MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY Bar's bathroom. Never again. I am on the fence about calling the major corporate P&S phone number, because I'd rather have this NUTCASE remain employed at this third-world location than any other store I might be shopping at. WHAT A DUMP! Truly. I took a full day to think about it and then wrote this review. If this were a restaurant, it would (should) be closed by the Health Department. I've made my points. This store has been remodeled by Kroger and what was tarnished about the place has been polished up and spun around and made better. Gone is the tacky decor and new signage, people actually stocking shelves, wider aisles, and cheaper prices. Gone is the hole of the zero aisle, replaced with a Kitchen Center where you can purchase dinnerware, flatware and small appliances. Where the old Cafe was has bern rebuilt to a more contemporary style. A beautiful floral department stands across from the checkout lanes which actually opened another one to help customers get out the door quicker. The deli is different from the psst, they have a grab and go deli package for sandwiches and a huge salad bar. So give it a look. And it looks like the are building a BP gas station on the out lot of the store, for your fuel points. read more

This used to be a very convenient location for my husband and I, but after today, I will not return. Upon entering the store, there was one cart - the wheels were locked. Just inside the exit doors was one more cart, also with locked wheels. I approached customer service and suggested someone retrieve carts. The young lady - tall, thin, long blond hair and a peach top - snootily informed me "that's all we have. Provide your own". And kept walking away. Worst customer service ever! I do not shop here all the time, but when I need something and happen to be driving by I will occasionally swing in. This is your typical Pick N Save, and you will be paying "Pick N Save pricing". If you're on a budget might want to clip some coupons, and remember you won't get the advertised sale price unless you swipe your "members card". They have a salad bar which I appreciate is always filled and fresh. As well as fresh sushi (every few days). I will say do not come here for the liquor department if you are in a hurry because it seems they stick their oldest and slowest cashiers in that department, which has two registers but only ever uses one... even when the line is wrapping through the department no calls for help in that area will be heard. Pick'n Save may be the worst grocery store chain ever. The West Allis store may be the worst store in a country that doesn't end in -stan. Tonight the food selection was so bare and picked over I thought there may be a natural disaster looming. At 8pm, there was only one register open, and no bagger. So of course I had the awkward pressure of making everyone behind me wait while I bagged my groceries and paid. Eight o'clock is not very late. Pick'n Save advertises as your hometown grocery store, in the face of the national conglomerate they were already a part of got bought by another national conglomerate. Anytime I come here there are two lanes open and self checkout (which if you have more than 15 items employees make you stand in the long line~even if self checkout has NO line!). Check expiration dates, especially on dairy, after accidentally buying expired products multiple times I've learned to do this and regularly find expired items on the shelves. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would! A Recent Sale Item was Buy A Beef Roast get one of equal or less value Free. Sounds good right? In the past, before Kroger bought the chain, Pick n Save butchers had zero problem cutting or trimming meats for customers... It IS a Meat Counter after all. I shop for disabled seniors who live on very tight food budgets and it's a challenge during the best of times. this day I asked the fellow behind the meat counter if they could cut one of the huge roasts in half (average price was $18) and wrap each half separately. I would buy both roasts to get the B1G1F deal. The fellow went into the back, came out and said: "I'm sorry we cannot do that anymore because the meat is cut and wrapped at the Commissary and we are not allowed to open it". That sounded stupid to me, and I thought why else have a Meat Counter with three employees if you do not cut or wrap meat? I thanked him and said, "I know you are just doing your job, so I will go complaint to the person who should hear it." I headed up front and saw the Store Manager who I've spoken to before without any issue, I waited till he finished up with the person he was talking too and approached him. He said, "What's Up?" I asked could I share a complaint with him and he said sure. I politely explained about the roasts, never being loud or using any foul language, and he said: "Let me call back there and see what's up". This is where it all went bad! He began speaking to the person on the phone in a different language! When he was done, he said: "We are not supposed to do that, but I told them to do it for you today, if you have a problem just tell them I said so". I said to him, "I'm sorry but I think talking to the person on the phone in a different language was a bit rude and unprofessional". He Went Off on me! Him: "You are accusing me of talking about customers!" Me: "No, just that the customer doesn't know what you are saying." Him "You are just saying something because I am Latino, and you have a Problem!" Me: No! Absolutely not! I don't care if you are Italian or Chinese or Marvin the Martian! You represent a business and the optics are bad when you make the customer think you are talking about them. Even if you are not, they DONT KNOW THAT... He kept trying to turn it around on me. It was quite apparent that I hit a nerve and he reacted the way he did because he has in fact talked about customers in front of them, in a different language with other employees. I had finally had enough of him hollering at me and did say something not nice. I said... "If I WERE that kind of person, I would tell you that when you become a Naturalized American Citizen you MUST learn to SPEAK, READ and WRITE English"! He got louder and banned me from "HIS" store! Then ran off like a scared little kid and called store security, and this guy named Jose (looked like a bouncer, no uniform or ID) came up and followed me to the parking lot and said don't come back. I should have made him call the Police! Because what is worse? Pick n Save has not called me to talk about this and it's been TWO WEEKS! And I have no doubt he has spun some nonsense story to make me look like the bad horrible person that I am not! I will pay for lie detector tests myself to prove him a liar. read more

This Pick n Save has recently remodeled and has a bulk section, very sams-club esque. This Pick n Save is pretty middle of the road, as far as Pick n Saves go. It used to be better. The organic/natural selection is pretty minimal now. The produce usually looks pretty bad. No organic fruit is available, only a couple of veggies. They do offer tofu, though. This place did a re-model (I think of it as a de-model) a few years back to expand their commercial bulk area. Gigantic cans of beans. All selections of wonder bread. They do have a small shelf of natural cereals and do offer veggie burgers and patties. I couldn't find natural yogurt. The employees here are especially unhappy. The environment (lighting, store set up, total absence of natural light) is really depressing. read more

This is regarding the salad bar. I'll have an eat healthy mood from time to time and will have a salad and maybe a small bowl of soup to eat in my car. The salad bar is large and also has a variety of fruit and deserts. You pay per ounce rather than per item. The dressings are bottled and are a good variety. Today I had chili with my salad. The other soups were practically gone and this was just before 12:30pm. Pretty typical as I recall from my past visits. I'd eat from here more often but for the inconvenience of parking, going in the store and then the checkout. Eating healthy isn't cheap. My bill is usually $7-$8. read more

I will never shop at Pick'nSave foods again and suggest that even though it is clean and well-stocked, the racist remarks make this store completely unacceptable. I shop at the store regularly. They have an excellent produce department. I now know where everything is and if you get there early you can get in and out in half an hour. If you pay attention to coupons and sales you can easily save $10 on a $80 purchase. And I will admit I'm addicted 2 there 8 by 8 brownies with chocolate frosting. read more

I visited the Cleveland Store today and checked out at 3:47pm. When I noticed that I'd been overcharged on THREE items I called at 7pm for clarification. The sign for sweet corn said 5 for $2. The stocker said they were 40 cents each so I bought two. At check out I was charged 50 cents each. I bought Ancient Harvest Quinoa as a discontinued item at $2.99 each. I was charged $7.99 each. I called and spoke to manager Chris at 7pm. The corn price was from last week and she immediately took down the 5 for $2 sign. She checked on the discontinued quinoa and couldn't find it on the shelf!!! Two other managers couldn't find it either. Well, maybe someone else took the sign down when it sold out? I dread every visit. I have lived in the area for years and it just keeps getting worse. The floorplan sucks, it is no longer 24/7, the bathroom is awful, and alot of the employees have bad attitudes and personal appearances. That being said, there are a few ladies that work there that are professional and really friendly. If I need more than 5 items, I go to the Cleveland store. That location is always a good experience, and it makes me wonder why a location just a few miles away is so much better. If this one closed I would not be bothered one bit, however I take no pleasure in anyone losing their job. read more

Most Pick N' Saves around are pretty crappy, but this one isn't all that bad. Of course, the customer service isn't great, and it is impossible to find competent help when you need it. But, they keep it clean, and it is always well stocked. Maybe I am partial to this location because it is extremely close to my house, but it is pretty nice. read more

I shopped here getting stuff that was on sale because it was so pricey and get to the register to find out that I need card in order to save. So I had to pay full price for everything!!! This store is almost ALWAYS out of whatever it is I'm looking for. It wasn't always this way. It started about a year ago. Also, the salad bar used to be pretty good, now it's just thrown together with whatever they have lying around. They used to have good pasta salads and things like that. Now they just fill two big pans with guacamole and call it good. My biggest gripe, however, is the missing stock. Virtually every time I visit, I have an ingredients list for a recipe, and they are out of at least one essential item. Last time it was Campbell's french onion soup.
