I have emailed the shop/owner to change my Saturday 9am to Monday 9am in a head of time and the owner confirmed it but never followed back on my emails i sent after. After reading reviews and visiting a shop or two, I made an appointment with Lino, the owner of Pico's. I was thoroughly impressed and left with the biggest smile. Lino listened to what I wanted and I showed him a few pictures of how I like my hair cut. I am a black female with blended faded sides and a short mohawk. I commented that he had the lightest hands when cutting my hair. This man has 23 years of experience and it shows!!. The cut did not take long. If Lino was the only one working here this place would get five stars. He is a professional barber and knows how to make a customer want to come back. His co-worker on the other hand is bad enough for me to never return unfortunately. I came in and he was the only one in the shop so I had no other choice. Didn't mind, had him before and he was fine (probably because Lino was watching, thinking back) Anyways this barber pulls out his phone mid haircut. Sits his ass down and texts his girlfriend for 15 minutes straight. Keeps taking out his phone and calling everyone. Meanwhile my head ass is just waiting for him to go back and forth cutting my hair (the only customer in the shop for the rest of the day) I feel like saying something until he pulls out a gun, cocks it back and sets it down in hands reach because some guys outside scared him!! He was already acting erratic enough spouting nonsense about how all women are bitches or something I wasn't gonna risk it. I was stuck in that barbershop for an hour and a half. All I got was a fade on the sides nothing off the top... what a nightmare. The cherry on top is he charged me more than Lino does. Never wanna see that barber again in my life so I won't be coming back again. Just warning anyone who wants to come here, you're welcome! read more
