Went home worse than when we got to the salon. I drove 45 minutes to this salon because I know my son puts up a fight when he gets a haircut. I thought this place would be used to it and still be able to get the job done. Man was I wrong. This woman sniped a few strands, and we couldn't do more. When things would get rough she would just stop and start texting. 20 minutes after we had our appointment, her next appointment came. And we went home with the worst haircut, but not before getting charged $20 for "her time". So I drove 45 minutes, fought my son for 20 minutes, got a bad haircut, charged $20 and a f u. Abby and Caren are wonderful! My toddler always has a great time here, and they are fantastic at accommodating young children. I appreciate the little things, like that they asked for permission before offering screen time and lollipops. We came in because my toddler's hair was very unmanageable, and they went above and beyond by washing it, deep conditioning, detangling, and styling it into protective braids. It was such a great experience. I'm really looking forward to coming back to do a blow-dry bar experience for myself while my daughter gets her hair done. The vibe is really modern and clean and fun. Took my daughter in today for The Bob and sparkle strands. I really wanted to love this place since they have a higher price but I was left feeling disappointed. It's a beautiful little salon with super cute chairs and what not but the employees seem unhappy or maybe they don't like kids. Karen was our stylist but I wouldn't have known that because no one introduced us or told us her name. The haircut doesn't include a wash which is ok but that's not the price point for no wash. The sparkle strands are a super fun add on and don't regret that one bit. I wish it was a more friendly environment where they chat with the kids (who are comfortable) my daughter loves socializing but as soon as we got her in the chair Karen pulls out an iPad. She did ask if it was ok but by that time my kids saw it in her hand. I told Karen she likes to talk and whatever but Karen really didn't even speak to her. I have worked in a few salons myself and expect a higher level of service even in a kids place. read more

I came with my son for the first time to this place for hair cut with Georgina two days before his birthday, after a long period in which I grew out his hair so he could get a nice haircut. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and only asked for it to be a bit shorter. She ended up cutting his hair in a horrible way. She spoke to us with a disrespectful vibe because we don't speak English well, and she made us feel like she was doing us a favor by cutting my child's hair. She embarrassed us to the point where I choked up, almost cried, and just felt humiliated. This girl should not be working with children in any way. She is rude, unprofessional, doesn't know how to cut hair, and any business that respects itself should not keep someone like her who has no empathy or approach for kids. I paid $40 for the haircut, and I also left a $10 tip for another girl who tried to help us. The day after paying $50 for a terrible haircut, I had to take my son somewhere else to try to fix the awful job she did on his head. Our experience was horrible. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place!!! read more

Our little man (2 year old) is not a haircut fan. While waiting, the entire staff checked in to make sure he was okay, what we needed, etc. Today was easily the best experience we have had. He did cry but he also didn't try to escape from the seat for the first time! Gina cut his hair, and it was fantastic! She was effortlessly precise to what we wanted, efficient, and made a new friend with our little guy because she was also quite the entertainer. We will be back without question. read more

A quick service if you're looking for something quick. $40 seems a bit pricy for a trim but I guess you are paying for the experience and service. Front desk girl was very nice and helpful. She was the best thing about it. The hair dressers were okay but for a "kids" place ehhh, but it is summerlin. Can't get over the price, my daughter had a one inch hair trim, wash and blow dry, with a blow out that cost $80. She wanted some curls for her blow out, she got two minor curls in the front, but I've had better blow outs than that for Aveda salons. You could hardly tell she had anything blowout. My son for a hair cut and it was $40, I already knew that was the price for it so I'm fine with it, he had a nice cut. Nice place, but won't be back. read more

I think it's an aesthetically cute little salon, but I do think that the workers need a little bit more help on being more friendly and inviting with kids. I think before they turn on the iPad or pull it out that they should ask parents first because once they see it turn on (like my kids) did that's all they wanted to do was watch TV. I did ask the hairstylist to turn off the iPad since I didn't want my daughter just to be watching TV. I wanted her to see and engage with what they were doing to her. Oh, for all the experience was OK, but I think for the price point it should have been more inviting and welcome for kids, more so the hairstylists. It is also on the pricier side. just for a first kids haircut and a little trim for a toddler. I paid over $100. read more
