Went in to buy couple 8×10 frames, service was great, helpful. They were out of stand for the 8×10 so the gentleman suggested I wait a few days and a shipment would be in. I gave him my business card as he said he'd call when it was in. I told him I needed it the following Friday for my mom's funeral service. We ordered a picture for my mother's funeral on-line from the mainland despite me wanting to support a local company and have it readily available without any problems. The on-line company we ordered from stated there was 4-10 days waiting period. I submitted the order two and a half weeks prior to the funeral, and we still did not receive the photo and frame. After 14 days, I started to panic and decided that I would contact Picture Plus to see if they could perform the task for me. I spoke with Kalani Kea from Picture Plus and not only did he provide the frame and centered the photo I sent to him, but it was also ready in ONE SINGLE DAY. He saved the day, and the funeral was a sucess! Kalani Kea was not only professional, helpful and caring, he provided a picture and framed it beautifully. Bought their Koa Wood Frames with the Museum glass. Clear difference in the amount of light reflection it gives as opposed to regular glass. Very minimal reflections and you can see what you are framing as if there is no glass. Really happy with the quality of the frames and the customer service is great as well. I'll definitely be coming back for any frames I need in the future. read more

Because of their amazing follow up, wonderful customer service and eagle eyes they were able to quickly locate 7 8x10 ready made Koa frames that I was initially told in person and on the phone did not exist, Thus I almost ordered a custom one at 3 times the cost (to match one bought the other year) plus the basic 1/2 vs the nicer 1 inch border size. I stopped by here today to get a custom frame for something I had picked up and I have to be honest....as soon as I entered the shop I felt little overwhelmed. I have little to no experience with getting things framed and the store itself is huge. There are so many choices and varieties of frames I didn't even know where to start. Luckily the staff here was very helpful and knowledgeable for my needs. I was looking for a frame to basically hold to pictures within one frame. The unfortunate news I got was that because of the size of the two photos there wasn't en existing frame that I could buy. The good news of course was that they could custom frame it. One thing about custom framing is that it can be rather pricey, especially if you have larger pictures. The larger the custom frame the more expensive. You also have to choose the material and the frame that you would like to use and that can up too. But the staff is pretty good and working with your budget and still trying to keep the level of quality high. I will pick up my custom frame in a week but for the most part I was thoroughly satisfied with the experience. I just wish custom frames weren't so expensive! read more

We were helped by a male named Kalani who was patient, insightful and creative as he helped us figure out what options looked best for our print. Just picked up the finished product today and we were pleased beyond our expectations. We also shopped around their store for a frame for a standard sized print that we wanted to frame ourselves, and were pleased by the selection of frames they had, all reasonably priced. Took me about a wk to figure out how to say in a nice way.The first person who help me was Kek. I'm just gonna give out 3 letters for this particular person name!He was the first person who help me so I thought! Anyway I did like the koa frame with canvas inside lining we both pick out together but when he gave the price I specifically said sorry can't afford that frame at this time so anyway I end up picking out laminate koa off the shelves. Paid for screening gave him the size of printing! Than a few days later he send me email about the frame he had pick out and price quote he thought I might like but did not mention about the printing of the picture I'm waiting for,so I call him and tell him I'm not able to afford that frame and that I'm still buying the frame I pick of the shelves,than a few days gone by didn't hear about my picture than I started to feel did he not hear what I was telling him!At this point I started to feel did I made a mistake taking my original priceless picture to picture plus and I feel push and force to buy koa frame in order for me to get my original picture back!,than I decide to call to kakaako and talk to someone else like is this guy for real!!! Thank god to Kalani I was able to pick up my picture @ kahala mall than pick original @Kakaako & another print! But because Kek.Lack of communication I end up with 2 print!words can not express how me and my husband feel withKalani help!! I purchased a poster that needed to be framed. I always try to use local businesses. When I reviewed the yelp page for this particular company, I saw a few reviews that were less than favorable. Although I was skeptical, I still went in. The old saying you don't want to judge a book by its cover was so true about these reviews. I found the staff at the store to be kind, helpful and very professional. If I would've listen to the reviews, I would've gone somewhere else and likely been very disappointed. The time the staff spent with me was exceptional. The suggestions they gave me as to my framing options were very succinct and led to a great looking piece of art. Beautiful store, spent $250 on an aluminum print I love. Disappointed in the large frame I bought from them online for over $100 so gave it back to them. They gave me what appeared to be 40% off next purchase but in reality was no credit for the return. The owner said their shop was cheaper than any other and all their frames were 40% off so she gave me no discount/no return credit. She charged me an additional $100 for another frame. Despite that I love the print I bought, the owner seems more interested in money than in returning customers. read more

He made me feel like I was bothering him even though there were no other customers in the store. He did finally give me an outrageous quote of 800.00 which I knew wasn't going to happen. This place is not cheap at all even when they are having a "sale." I had three different things to frame none bigger than a 16x20 but odd enough size that they needed to be custom framed. Walked in and was thrilled to find out that if you had 3 or more items you would get 50% off custom framing. Now I didn't get anything fancy either, just plain black frames. No matting or any museum glass. So I was pretty shocked when the total came out to $250 even with the sale.. I had to ask to make sure they applied the sale and they had. Besides the price being steep everything else was great. It was timely (exactly one week) and the end result was great. All the frames look great and sturdy I can probably throw them around a little if I wanted to. Hope this place works out for you. read more

Just got an original oil painting framed at Pictures Plus Ward Warehouse and was more than satisfied with the service and price/quality of framing. Framing was done pronto in less than a week. Manager Sasha was sooo helpful and although this was my first time there, she made me feel like a valued customer. She made sure that I had the hangers needed for the pic and threw it in for free! As a photographer, we don't have very many options here locally when it comes to having our images produced for sale or whatever the reason may be. With the imminent closing of Fuji Film, there are just a few places that can produce quality work for a reasonable price in a timely manner. We work hard to compose and edit our images into a file that is tasteful and pleasing to the eye. Sometimes it may take many hours to get them just right for print. So this is where it gets complicated. If you are commissioned by someone on the mainland to produce an image for their home or office, there are quite a few labs that will produce and drop ship your order for you. As for here at home, you're limited and when you find one to your liking that can reproduce your files to exact color and clarity, you do your best to form a good working relationship with that lab. For me, Pictures Plus does just that. I am very fortunate to be able to do business with their Ward location and my point of contact there is Sacha. She is very easy and pleasant to work with and she will make sure you are taken care of. You can use their website to order your prints, but for me I prefer to go there in person because I can tell them exactly what I want and can ask questions. In addition to being very knowledgeable about their products, they have excellent customer service. Sacha even went out of her way to personally deliver an order I had placed to be delivered to Pearl Highlands, but got mistakenly delivered to Ward. That kind of service goes above and beyond what I have expected from them. If you ever need framing or want to have prints made, please go see them at Ward. You won't be disappointed! read more

The staff seemed a little busy making phone calls to clients and what not before they could address us, but once they did, the service given was impeccable. The manager, Tasha, assisted us and was so down to earth and personable that it made spending nearly $300 on two custom frames easy. But to help us out, she allowed us to redeem the 10% coupon featured in one of their catalogues and even gave us another discount on top of that. What a deal!
